1 Und am dritten7992 Tage3117 zog3847 sich Esther635 königlich4438 an und trat in den Hof2691 am Hause1004 des Königs4428 inwendig6442 gegen5227 dem Hause1004 des Königs4428. Und der König4428 saß3427 auf5975 seinem königlichen4438 Stuhl3678 im königlichen4438 Hause1004, gegen5227 der Tür6607 des Hauses1004.

2 And it was1961 so, when the king4428 saw7200 853 Esther635 the queen4436 standing5975 in the court,2691 that she obtained5375 favor2580 in his sight:5869 and the king4428 held out3447 to Esther635 853 the golden2091 scepter8275 that834 was in his hand.3027 So Esther635 drew near,7126 and touched5060 the top7218 of the scepter.8275

2 Und da der König4428 sah7200 Esther635, die Königin4436, stehen5975 im Hofe2691, fand sie5060 Gnade2580 vor seinen Augen5869. Und der König reckte3447 den güldenen Zepter8275 in seiner Hand3027 gegen Esther635. Da trat Esther635 herzu7126 und rührete die Spitze7218 des Zepters an5375.

3 Then said559 the king4428 unto her, What4100 wilt thou, queen4436 Esther?635 and what4100 is thy request?1246 it shall be even given5414 thee to5704 the half2677 of the kingdom.4438

3 Da sprach559 der König4428 zu ihr: Was ist dir, Esther635, Königin4436? und was forderst du1246? Auch die Hälfte2677 des Königreichs4438 soll dir gegeben5414 werden.

4 And Esther635 answered,559 If518 it seem good2895 unto5921 the king,4428 let the king4428 and Haman2001 come935 this day3117 unto413 the banquet4960 that834 I have prepared6213 for him.

4 Esther635 sprach559: Gefällt2895 es dem Könige4428, so komme935 der König4428 und Haman2001 heute3117 zu dem Mahl4960, das ich zugerichtet habe6213.

5 Then the king4428 said,559 Cause853 Haman2001 to make haste,4116 that he may do6213 853 as Esther635 hath said.1697 So the king4428 and Haman2001 came935 to413 the banquet4960 that834 Esther635 had prepared.6213

5 Der König4428 sprach: Eilet4116, daß Haman2001 tue6213, was Esther635 gesagt559 hat! Da nun der König4428 und Haman2001 zu dem Mahl4960 kamen935, das1697 Esther635 zugerichtet hatte6213,

6 And the king4428 said559 unto Esther635 at the banquet4960 of wine,3196 What4100 is thy petition?7596 and it shall be granted5414 thee: and what4100 is thy request?1246 even to5704 the half2677 of the kingdom4438 it shall be performed.6213

6 sprach559 der König4428 zu6213 Esther635, da er Wein3196 getrunken hatte4960: Was bittest du7596, Esther? Es soll dir gegeben5414 werden. Und was forderst du1246? Auch die Hälfte2677 des Königreichs4438, es soll geschehen.

7 Then answered6030 Esther,635 and said,559 My petition7596 and my request1246 is;

7 Da antwortete6030 Esther635 und sprach559: Meine Bitte7596 und Begehr1246 ist:

8 If518 I have found4672 favor2580 in the sight5869 of the king,4428 and if518 it please2895 5921 the king4428 to grant5414 853 my petition,7596 and to perform6213 853 my request,1246 let the king4428 and Haman2001 come935 to413 the banquet4960 that834 I shall prepare6213 for them, and I will do6213 tomorrow4279 as the king4428 hath said.1697

10 Nevertheless Haman2001 refrained himself:662 and when he came935 413 home,1004 he sent7971 and called935 for853 his friends,157 and Zeresh2238 his wife.802

10 Aber er2001 enthielt sich662. Und da er heim1004 kam935, sandte er hin und ließ7971 holen seine Freunde157 und sein935 Weib802 Seres2238.

11 And Haman2001 told5608 them of853 the glory3519 of his riches,6239 and the multitude7230 of his children,1121 and all3605 the things wherein834 the king4428 had promoted1431 him, and how834 he had advanced5375 him above5921 the princes8269 and servants5650 of the king.4428

11 Und erzählete ihnen die Herrlichkeit3519 seines Reichtums6239 und die Menge7230 seiner Kinder1121 und alles, wie ihn der König4428 so groß1431 gemacht hätte, und daß er2001 über die Fürsten8269 und Knechte5650 des Königs4428 erhaben wäre5375.

12 Haman2001 said559 moreover,637 Yea, Esther635 the queen4436 did let no3808 man come in935 with5973 the king4428 unto413 the banquet4960 that834 she had prepared6213 but3588 518 myself; and tomorrow4279 am I589 invited7121 unto her also1571 with5973 the king.4428

12 Auch sprach559 Haman2001: Und die Königin4436 Esther635 hat niemand lassen kommen935 mit dem Könige4428 zum Mahl4960, das sie7121 zugerichtet hat, ohne mich; und bin auch morgen4279 zu6213 ihr geladen mit dem Könige4428.

13 Yet all3605 this2088 availeth7737 me nothing,369 so long3605 6256 as I589 see7200 853 Mordecai4782 the Jew3064 sitting3427 at the king's4428 gate.8179

13 Aber an dem allem habe ich keine Genüge7737, solange ich sehe7200 den Juden3064 Mardachai am Königstor8179 sitzen3427.

14 Then said559 Zeresh2238 his wife802 and all3605 his friends157 unto him, Let a gallows6086 be made6213 of fifty2572 cubits520 high,1364 and tomorrow1242 speak559 thou unto the king4428 that853 Mordecai4782 may be hanged8518 thereon:5921 then go935 thou in merrily8056 with5973 the king4428 unto413 the banquet.4960 And the thing1697 pleased3190 6440 Haman;2001 and he caused the gallows6086 to be made.6213

14 Da sprach559 zu6213 ihm sein Weib802 Seres2238 und6213 alle seine Freunde157: Man559 mache6213 einen Baum6086 fünfzig2572 Ellen520 hoch1364 und sage morgen1242 dem Könige4428, daß man Mardachai daran hänge8518; so kommst935 du mit6440 dem Könige4428 fröhlich8056 zum Mahl4960. Das1697 gefiel3190 Haman2001 wohl und ließ einen Baum6086 zurichten.
