2 For they were departed5265 from Rephidim,4480 7508 and were come935 to the desert4057 of Sinai,5514 and had pitched2583 in the wilderness;4057 and there8033 Israel3478 camped2583 before5048 the mount.2022

2 Denn sie2583 waren935 ausgezogen5265 von Raphidim7508 und3478 wollten in die Wüste4057 Sinai5514; und lagerten sich2583 in der Wüste4057 daselbst gegen dem Berg2022.

3 And Moses4872 went up5927 unto413 God,430 and the LORD3068 called7121 unto413 him out of4480 the mountain,2022 saying,559 Thus3541 shalt thou say559 to the house1004 of Jacob,3290 and tell5046 the children1121 of Israel;3478

3 Und Mose4872 stieg hinauf5927 zu GOtt430. Und der HErr3068 rief7121 ihm vom Berge2022 und sprach559: So sollst du sagen559 zu dem Hause1004 Jakob3290 und verkündigen5046 den Kindern1121 Israel3478:

4 Ye859 have seen7200 what834 I did6213 unto the Egyptians,4714 and how I bore5375 you on5921 eagles'5404 wings,3671 and brought935 you unto413 myself.

4 Ihr habt gesehen7200, was ich den Ägyptern4714 getan6213 habe5375, und3671 wie ich euch getragen habe auf Adlersflügeln und habe euch zu mir gebracht935.

5 Now6258 therefore, if518 ye will obey my voice indeed,8085 8085 6963 and keep8104 853 my covenant,1285 then ye shall be1961 a peculiar treasure5459 unto me above all4480 3605 people:5971 for3588 all3605 the earth776 is mine:
|
5 Werdet8085 ihr8085 nun meiner Stimme6963 gehorchen und meinen Bund1285 halten, so sollt ihr mein Eigentum5459 sein8104 vor allen Völkern5971; denn die ganze Erde776 ist mein.
|

6 And ye859 shall be1961 unto me a kingdom4467 of priests,3548 and a holy6918 nation.1471 These428 are the words1697 which834 thou shalt speak1696 unto413 the children1121 of Israel.3478
|
6 Und ihr sollt mir ein priesterlich3548 Königreich4467 und ein heiliges6918 Volk1471 sein. Das1697 sind die Worte1696, die du den Kindern1121 Israel3478 sagen sollst.

7 And Moses4872 came935 and called7121 for the elders2205 of the people,5971 and laid7760 before their faces6440 853 all3605 these428 words1697 which834 the LORD3068 commanded6680 him.

7 Mose4872 kam935 und forderte7121 die Ältesten2205 im Volk5971 und legte7760 ihnen alle diese Worte1697 vor6440, die der HErr3068 geboten hatte6680.

8 And all3605 the people5971 answered6030 together,3162 and said,559 All3605 that834 the LORD3068 hath spoken1696 we will do.6213 And Moses4872 returned7725 853 the words1697 of the people5971 unto413 the LORD.3068
|
8 Und alles1697 Volk5971 antwortete6030 zugleich3162 und sprachen1696: Alles, was der HErr3068 geredet hat, wollen wir tun6213. Und Mose4872 sagte559 die Rede des Volks5971 dem HErrn3068 wieder7725.

9 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Lo,2009 I595 come935 unto413 thee in a thick5645 cloud,6051 that5668 the people5971 may hear8085 when I speak1696 with5973 thee, and believe539 thee forever.5769 And Moses4872 told5046 853 the words1697 of the people5971 unto413 the LORD.3068

9 Und der HErr3068 sprach559 zu8085 Mose4872: Siehe, ich will935 zu dir kommen in einer dicken Wolke5645, auf daß dies Volk5971 meine Worte1696 höre, die ich mit dir rede1697, und glaube539 dir ewiglich5769. Und Mose4872 verkündigte5046 dem HErrn3068 die Rede des Volks5971.

10 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Go1980 unto413 the people,5971 and sanctify6942 them today3117 and tomorrow,4279 and let them wash3526 their clothes,8071
|
10 Der HErr3068 sprach559 zu Mose4872: Gehe3212 hin zum Volk5971 und heilige6942 sie heute3117 und morgen4279, daß sie ihre Kleider8071 waschen3526.
|
|
11 And be1961 ready3559 against the third7992 day:3117 for3588 the third7992 day3117 the LORD3068 will come down3381 in the sight5869 of all3605 the people5971 upon5921 mount2022 Sinai.5514
|
11 und bereit seien3559 auf den dritten7992 Tag3117. Denn am dritten7992 Tage3117 wird der HErr3068 vor5869 allem Volk5971 herabfahren3381 auf den Berg2022 Sinai5514.
|

12 And thou shalt set bounds1379 853 unto the people5971 round about,5439 saying,559 Take heed8104 to yourselves, that ye go not up5927 into the mount,2022 or touch5060 the border7097 of it: whosoever3605 toucheth5060 the mount2022 shall be surely put to death:4191 4191
|
12 Und mache1379 dem Volk5971 ein Gehege umher5439 und sprich559 zu ihnen: Hütet euch, daß ihr nicht auf5927 den Berg2022 steiget, noch sein8104 Ende7097 anrühret; denn wer den Berg2022 anrühret, soll des Todes4191 sterben4191.

13 There shall not3808 a hand3027 touch5060 it, but3588 he shall surely be stoned,5619 5619 or176 shot through;3384 3384 whether518 it be beast929 or518 man,376 it shall not3808 live:2421 when the trumpet3104 soundeth long,4900 they1992 shall come up5927 to the mount.2022

13 Keine Hand3027 soll5619 ihn anrühren5060, sondern er3384 soll5619 gesteinigt oder176 mit Geschoß erschossen werden; es sei ein376 Tier929 oder Mensch, so soll er nicht leben. Wenn518 es aber lange tönen3104 wird, dann sollen sie4900 an5927 den Berg2022 gehen.

14 And Moses4872 went down3381 from4480 the mount2022 unto413 the people,5971 and sanctified6942 853 the people;5971 and they washed3526 their clothes.8071
|
14 Mose4872 stieg3381 vom Berge2022 zum Volk5971 und heiligte6942 sie5971, und sie wuschen3526 ihre Kleider8071.
|
|
15 And he said559 unto413 the people,5971 Be1961 ready3559 against the third7969 day:3117 come5066 not408 at413 your wives.802
|
15 Und er sprach559 zu3559 ihnen5971: Seid1961 bereit auf den dritten7969 Tag3117, und keiner nahe5066 sich zum Weibe802.
|
|
16 And it came to pass1961 on the third7992 day3117 in the morning,1242 that there were1961 thunders6963 and lightnings,1300 and a thick3515 cloud6051 upon5921 the mount,2022 and the voice6963 of the trumpet7782 exceeding3966 loud;2389 so that all3605 the people5971 that834 was in the camp4264 trembled.2729

16 Als nun der dritte7992 Tag3117 kam und Morgen1242 war, da hub sich2729 ein Donnern6963 und Blitzen1300 und eine dicke3515 Wolke6051 auf dem Berge2022 und ein Ton6963 einer sehr3966 starken2389 Posaune7782. Das ganze Volk5971 aber, das im Lager4264 war, erschrak.

17 And Moses4872 brought forth3318 853 the people5971 out of4480 the camp4264 to meet7125 with God;430 and they stood3320 at the nether part8482 of the mount.2022
|
17 Und Mose4872 führete das Volk5971 aus3318 dem Lager4264 GOtt430 entgegen7125; und sie3320 traten unten8482 an den Berg2022.
|
|
18 And mount2022 Sinai5514 was altogether3605 on a smoke,6225 because4480 6440 834 the LORD3068 descended3381 upon5921 it in fire:784 and the smoke6227 thereof ascended5927 as the smoke6227 of a furnace,3536 and the whole3605 mount2022 quaked2729 greatly.3966

18 Der ganze Berg2022 aber Sinai5514 rauchte6225, darum daß der HErr3068 herab auf5927 den Berg2022 fuhr3381 mit Feuer784; und sein Rauch6227 ging auf wie834 ein Rauch6227 vom Ofen3536, daß der ganze Berg sehr3966 bebete.

19 And when1961 the voice6963 of the trumpet7782 sounded long,1980 and waxed louder and louder,2388 3966 Moses4872 spoke,1696 and God430 answered6030 him by a voice.6963
|
19 Und6963 der Posaunen7782 Ton6963 ward1980 immer3966 stärker2390. Mose4872 redete1696, und6963 GOtt430 antwortete6030 ihm laut.

20 And the LORD3068 came down3381 upon5921 mount2022 Sinai,5514 on413 the top7218 of the mount:2022 and the LORD3068 called7121 Moses4872 up to413 the top7218 of the mount;2022 and Moses4872 went up.5927
|
20 Als nun der HErr3068 herniederkommen war auf413 den Berg2022 Sinai5514, oben auf2022 seine Spitze7218, forderte7121 er Mose4872 oben auf5927 die Spitze7218 des Berges2022, und3068 Mose4872 stieg3381 hinauf.
|
|
21 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 Moses,4872 Go down,3381 charge5749 the people,5971 lest6435 they break through2040 unto413 the LORD3068 to gaze,7200 and many7227 of4480 them perish.5307
|
21 Da sprach559 der HErr3068 zu ihm: Steig hinab3381 und4872 zeuge dem Volk5971, daß sie2040 nicht herzubrechen zum HErrn3068, daß sie sehen7200, und5749 viele7227 aus ihnen fallen5307.
|
|
22 And let the priests3548 also,1571 which come near5066 to413 the LORD,3068 sanctify themselves,6942 lest6435 the LORD3068 break forth6555 upon them.
|
22 Dazu die Priester3548, die zum HErrn3068 nahen, sollen sich heiligen6942, daß sie5066 der HErr3068 nicht zerschmettere6555.
|
|
23 And Moses4872 said559 unto413 the LORD,3068 The people5971 cannot3808 3201 come up5927 to413 mount2022 Sinai:5514 for3588 thou859 chargedst5749 us, saying,559 Set bounds1379 853 about the mount,2022 and sanctify6942 it.
|
23 Mose4872 aber1379 sprach559 zum HErrn3068: Das Volk5971 kann3201 nicht auf den Berg2022 Sinai5514 steigen5927; denn du hast uns bezeuget und gesagt559: Mache ein5749 Gehege um den Berg2022 und heilige6942 ihn.

24 And the LORD3068 said559 unto413 him, Away,1980 get thee down,3381 and thou shalt come up,5927 thou,859 and Aaron175 with5973 thee: but let not408 the priests3548 and the people5971 break through2040 to come up5927 unto413 the LORD,3068 lest6435 he break forth6555 upon them.

24 Und3548 der HErr3068 sprach559 zu ihm: Gehe3212 hin, steige hinab3381; du und Aaron175 mit dir soll heraufsteigen5927; aber die Priester und das Volk5971 sollen nicht herzubrechen, daß sie2040 hinaufsteigen5927 zu dem HErrn3068, daß er sie nicht zerschmettere6555.

25 So Moses4872 went down3381 unto413 the people,5971 and spoke559 unto413 them.
|
25 Und Mose4872 stieg3381 herunter zum Volk5971 und sagte559 es ihnen.
