1 Wer ist1921 der, so7227 von Edom123 kommt935, mit rötlichen2556 Kleidern899 von Bazra, der so geschmückt ist1696 in seinen Kleidern3830 und einhertritt6808 in seiner großen7230 Kraft3581? Ich bin‘s, der Gerechtigkeit6666 lehret und ein Meister bin zu helfen3467.

2 Wherefore4069 art thou red122 in thine apparel,3830 and thy garments899 like him that treadeth1869 in the wine vat?1660

2 Warum ist denn dein Gewand3830 so rotfarb und dein Kleid899 wie eines Keltertreters1660?

3 I have trodden1869 the winepress6333 alone;905 and of the people4480 5971 there was none369 376 with854 me: for I will tread1869 them in mine anger,639 and trample7429 them in my fury;2534 and their blood5332 shall be sprinkled5137 upon5921 my garments,899 and I will stain1351 all3605 my raiment.4403

6 And I will tread down947 the people5971 in mine anger,639 and make them drunk7937 in my fury,2534 and I will bring down3381 their strength5332 to the earth.776

6 Darum habe ich die3381 Völker5971 zertreten947 in meinem Zorn639 und776 habe sie trunken7937 gemacht in meinem Grimm2534 und ihr Vermögen zu Boden gestoßen.

7 I will mention2142 the lovingkindnesses2617 of the LORD,3068 and the praises8416 of the LORD,3068 according5921 to all3605 that834 the LORD3068 hath bestowed1580 on us, and the great7227 goodness2898 toward the house1004 of Israel,3478 which834 he hath bestowed1580 on them according to his mercies,7356 and according to the multitude7230 of his lovingkindnesses.2617

7 Ich will der Güte2898 des HErrn3068 gedenken2142 und8416 des Lobes des HErrn3068 in allem, das uns der HErr3068 getan hat1580, und7230 des großen7227 Guts an dem Hause1004 Israel3478, das er ihnen getan hat1580 durch seine Barmherzigkeit2617 und große Güte2617.

8 For he said,559 Surely389 they1992 are my people,5971 children1121 that will not3808 lie:8266 so he was1961 their Savior.3467

8 Denn er sprach559: Sie sind8266 ja mein Volk5971, Kinder1121, die nicht falsch sind. Darum war er ihr Heiland3467.

9 In all3605 their affliction6869 he was afflicted,6862 and the angel4397 of his presence6440 saved3467 them: in his love160 and in his pity2551 he1931 redeemed1350 them; and he bore5190 them, and carried5375 them all3605 the days3117 of old.5769

9 Wer sie ängstete6869, der ängstete ihn auch6862; und der Engel4397, so vor ihm ist, half3467 ihnen. Er1350 erlösete sie, darum daß er sie liebete und ihrer schonete. Er nahm sie auf6440 und trug5375 sie allezeit3117 von alters her5769.

10 But they1992 rebelled,4784 and vexed6087 853 his Holy6944 Spirit:7307 therefore he was turned2015 to be their enemy,341 and he1931 fought3898 against them.

10 Aber sie erbitterten4784 und entrüsteten6087 seinen Heiligen6944 Geist7307; darum ward2015 er ihr Feind341 und stritt3898 wider sie.

11 Then he remembered2142 the days3117 of old,5769 Moses,4872 and his people,5971 saying, Where346 is he that brought them up5927 out of the sea4480 3220 with854 the shepherd7462 of his flock?6629 where346 is he that put7760 853 his Holy6944 Spirit7307 within7130 him?

11 Und er gedachte2142 wieder an5927 die5769 vorige Zeit3117, an den Mose4872, so unter7130 seinem Volk5971 war. Wo ist7760 denn nun, der sie aus dem Meer3220 führete, samt dem Hirten7462 seiner Herde6629? Wo ist, der seinen Heiligen6944 Geist7307 unter sie gab,

12 That led1980 them by the right hand3225 of Moses4872 with his glorious8597 arm,2220 dividing1234 the water4325 before4480 6440 them, to make6213 himself an everlasting5769 name?8034

12 der Mose4872 bei der rechten Hand3225 führete durch seinen herrlichen8597 Arm2220, der die Wasser4325 trennete vor ihnen her, auf6440 daß er3212 ihm einen ewigen5769 Namen8034 machte6213,

13 That led1980 them through the deep,8415 as a horse5483 in the wilderness,4057 that they should not3808 stumble?3782

14 As a beast929 goeth down3381 into the valley,1237 the Spirit7307 of the LORD3068 caused him to rest:5117 so3651 didst thou lead5090 thy people,5971 to make6213 thyself a glorious8597 name.8034

14 wie das Vieh929, so ins Feld1237 hinabgehet, welches der Odem7307 des HErrn3068 treibet? Also6213 hast3381 du auch dein Volk5971 geführet, auf5117 daß5090 du dir einen herrlichen8597 Namen8034 machtest.

15 Look down5027 from heaven,4480 8064 and behold7200 from the habitation4480 2073 of thy holiness6944 and of thy glory:8597 where346 is thy zeal7068 and thy strength,1369 the sounding1995 of thy bowels4578 and of thy mercies7356 toward413 me? are they restrained?662

15 So schaue nun vom Himmel8064 und siehe5027 herab von deiner heiligen6944 herrlichen8597 Wohnung2073. Wo ist nun dein Eifer7068, deine Macht1369? Deine große1995 herzliche4578 Barmherzigkeit7356 hält sich7200 hart gegen mich662.

16 Doubtless3588 thou859 art our father,1 though3588 Abraham85 be ignorant3808 3045 of us, and Israel3478 acknowledge5234 us not:3808 thou,859 O LORD,3068 art our father,1 our redeemer;1350 thy name8034 is from everlasting.4480 5769

16 Bist du5234 doch unser Vater1. Denn3588 Abraham85 weiß3045 von uns nicht, und Israel3478 kennet uns nicht. Du aber, HErr3068, bist unser Vater1 und unser Erlöser1350; von alters her5769 ist das dein Name8034.

17 Warum lässest du uns3820, HErr3068, irren8582 von deinen Wegen1870 und unser Herz verstocken7188, daß wir dich nicht fürchten3374? Kehre wieder7725 um deiner Knechte5650 willen, um der Stämme7626 willen deines Erbes5159!

18 The people5971 of thy holiness6944 have possessed3423 it but a little while:4705 our adversaries6862 have trodden down947 thy sanctuary.4720

18 Sie besitzen3423 dein heiliges Volk5971 schier gar; deine Widersacher6862 zertreten947 dein Heiligtum6944.

19 We are1961 thine: thou never3808 4480 5769 didst bear rule4910 over them; they were not3808 called7121 by5921 thy name.8034

19 Wir sind gleich wie vorhin, da du nicht über uns herrschetest, und wir nicht nach deinem Namen8034 genannt7121 waren.
