1 Und nach310 langer7227 Zeit3117, da3117 der HErr3068 hatte Israel3478 zur Ruhe5117 gebracht vor allen ihren Feinden341 umher5439, und Josua3091 nun alt2204 und wohl betaget war935,

2 And Joshua3091 called7121 for all3605 Israel,3478 and for their elders,2205 and for their heads,7218 and for their judges,8199 and for their officers,7860 and said559 unto413 them, I589 am old2204 and stricken935 in age: 3117
|
2 berief7121 er das ganze Israel3478 und3091 ihre Ältesten, Häupter7218, Richter8199 und935 Amtleute7860 und3117 sprach559 zu ihnen: Ich bin alt2205 und wohl betaget,

3 And ye859 have seen7200 853 all3605 that834 the LORD3068 your God430 hath done6213 unto all3605 these428 nations1471 because4480 6440 of you; for3588 the LORD3068 your God430 is he1931 that hath fought3898 for you.

3 und ihr habt gesehen alles, was der HErr3068, euer GOtt430, getan6213 hat an7200 allen diesen Völkern1471 vor6440 euch her; denn der HErr3068, euer GOtt430, hat selber für euch gestritten3898.
|

4 Behold,7200 I have divided unto you by lot5307 853 these428 nations1471 that remain,7604 to be an inheritance5159 for your tribes,7626 from4480 Jordan,3383 with all3605 the nations1471 that834 I have cut off,3772 even unto the great1419 sea3220 westward.3996 8121

4 Sehet, ich habe3772 euch die5307 übrigen7604 Völker1471 durchs Los zugeteilet, einem jeglichen Stamm7626 sein Erbteil5159, vom Jordan3383 an7200, und alle Völker1471, die ich ausgerottet habe, und am großen1419 Meer3220 gegen der Sonnen Untergang.

5 And the LORD3068 your God,430 he1931 shall expel1920 them from before4480 6440 you, and drive3423 them from out of your sight;4480 6440 and ye shall possess3423 853 their land,776 as834 the LORD3068 your God430 hath promised1696 unto you.

5 Und der HErr3068, euer GOtt430, wird sie ausstoßen1920 vor6440 euch und von6440 euch vertreiben3423, daß ihr ihr Land776 einnehmet3423, wie euch der HErr3068, euer GOtt430, geredet hat1696.

|
6 Be ye therefore very3966 courageous2388 to keep8104 and to do6213 853 all3605 that is written3789 in the book5612 of the law8451 of Moses,4872 that ye turn5493 not1115 aside5493 therefrom4480 to the right hand3225 or to the left;8040
|
6 So seid nun sehr3966 getrost2388, daß ihr haltet8104 und tut6213 alles, was geschrieben3789 stehet im Gesetzbuch5612 Moses4872, daß ihr nicht5493 davon weichet weder zur Rechten3225 noch zur Linken8040,
|
|
7 That ye come935 not1115 among these428 nations,1471 these428 that remain7604 among you; neither3808 make mention2142 of the name8034 of their gods,430 nor3808 cause to swear7650 by them, neither3808 serve5647 them, nor3808 bow yourselves7812 unto them:

7 auf daß ihr nicht unter5647 diese übrigen7604 Völker1471 kommet, die mit euch sind935, und nicht gedenket2142 noch schwöret7650 bei dem Namen8034 ihrer Götter430, noch ihnen dienet, noch sie anbetet7812,

|
8 But3588 518 cleave1692 unto the LORD3068 your God,430 as834 ye have done6213 unto5704 this2088 day.3117
|
8 sondern dem HErrn3068, eurem GOtt430, anhanget1692, wie ihr bis auf diesen Tag3117 getan6213 habt.
|
|
9 For the LORD3068 hath driven out3423 from before4480 6440 you great1419 nations1471 and strong:6099 but as for you,859 no3808 man376 hath been able to stand5975 before6440 you unto5704 this2088 day.3117
|
9 So wird der HErr3068 vor6440 euch her vertreiben3423 große1419 und mächtige6099 Völker1471; und niemand376 hat euch widerstanden5975 bis auf6440 diesen Tag3117.

|
10 One259 man376 of4480 you shall chase7291 a thousand:505 for3588 the LORD3068 your God,430 he1931 it is that fighteth3898 for you, as834 he hath promised1696 you.
|
10 Euer einer259 wird tausend505 jagen7291; denn der HErr3068, euer GOtt430, streitet3898 für euch, wie er376 euch geredet hat1696.
|
|
11 Take good3966 heed8104 therefore unto yourselves,5315 that ye love157 853 the LORD3068 your God.430
|
11 Darum, so3966 behütet8104 aufs fleißigste eure Seelen5315, daß ihr den HErrn3068, euren GOtt430, lieb157 habet.
|
|
12 Else3588 if518 ye do in any wise go back,7725 7725 and cleave1692 unto the remnant3499 of these428 nations,1471 even these428 that remain7604 among854 you, and shall make marriages2859 with them, and go in935 unto them, and they1992 to you:
|
12 Wo ihr euch7725 aber umwendet und3499 diesen übrigen7604 Völkern1471 anhanget1692 und euch2859 mit ihnen7725 verheiratet, daß ihr unter sie und sie unter euch kommen935,
|
|
13 Know for a certainty3045 3045 that3588 the LORD3068 your God430 will no3808 more3254 drive out3423 any of853 these428 nations1471 from before4480 6440 you; but they shall be1961 snares6341 and traps4170 unto you, and scourges7850 in your sides,6654 and thorns6976 in your eyes,5869 until5704 ye perish6 from off4480 5921 this2063 good2896 land127 which834 the LORD3068 your God430 hath given5414 you.

13 so wisset, daß der HErr3068, euer GOtt430, wird3045 nicht3254 mehr alle diese Völker1471 vor euch vertreiben3423, sondern sie werden euch zum Strick6341 und Netz4170 und zur Geißel7850 in euren Seiten6654 werden und zum Stachel6796 in euren Augen5869, bis daß er euch umbringe6 von dem guten2896 Lande6440, das euch der HErr3068, euer GOtt430, gegeben5414 hat3045.

14 And, behold,2009 this day3117 I595 am going1980 the way1870 of all3605 the earth:776 and ye know3045 in all3605 your hearts3824 and in all3605 your souls,5315 that3588 not3808 one259 thing1697 hath failed5307 of all4480 3605 the good2896 things1697 which834 the LORD3068 your God430 spoke1696 concerning5921 you; all3605 are come to pass935 unto you, and not3808 one259 thing1697 hath failed5307 thereof.4480

14 Siehe, ich gehe935 heute3117 dahin1980 wie alle Welt; und ihr1870 sollt wissen3045 von ganzem Herzen3824 und von ganzer See LE5315, daß nicht ein259 Wort1697 gefehlet hat1696 an all dem259 Guten2896, das776 der HErr3068, euer GOtt430, euch geredet hat5307; es1697 ist5307 alles1697 kommen und keins verblieben.

15 Therefore it shall come to pass,1961 that as834 all3605 good2896 things1697 are come935 upon5921 you, which834 the LORD3068 your God430 promised1696 413 you; so3651 shall the LORD3068 bring935 upon5921 you853 all3605 evil7451 things,1697 until5704 he have destroyed8045 you from off4480 5921 this2063 good2896 land127 which834 the LORD3068 your God430 hath given5414 you.

15 Gleichwie nun alles Gute2896 kommen935 ist935, das1697 der HErr3068, euer GOtt430, euch8045 geredet hat1696, also wird der HErr3068 auch über euch kommen lassen alles Böse7451, bis er euch vertilge von diesem guten2896 Lande127, das1697 euch der HErr3068, euer GOtt430, gegeben5414 hat,

16 When ye have transgressed5674 853 the covenant1285 of the LORD3068 your God,430 which834 he commanded6680 you, and have gone1980 and served5647 other312 gods,430 and bowed yourselves7812 to them; then shall the anger639 of the LORD3068 be kindled2734 against you, and ye shall perish6 quickly4120 from off4480 5921 the good2896 land776 which834 he hath given5414 unto you.

16 wenn ihr2734 übertretet den Bund1285 des HErrn3068, eures Gottes430, den er euch1980 geboten hat, und430 hingehet und andern312 Göttern dienet5647 und sie6680 anbetet7812, daß der Zorn639 des HErrn3068 über5674 euch ergrimmet und euch bald4120 umbringet von dem guten2896 Lande, das776 er euch gegeben5414 hat.
