1 Слушайте слово сие, которое Иегова изрек на вас, сыны Израилевы, на все племена, которые вывел Я из земли египетской. Он говорит:

2 You only7535 have I known3045 of all4480 3605 the families4940 of the earth:127 therefore5921 3651 I will punish6485 5921 you853 for all3605 your iniquities.5771

2 Вас только знаю Я пред всеми племенами земли: потому и взыскиваю с вас за все беззакония ваши.

3 Can two8147 walk1980 together,3162 except1115 518 they be agreed?3259

3 Идут ли двое вместе, не согласившись прежде?

4 Will a lion738 roar7580 in the forest,3293 when he hath no369 prey?2964 will a young lion3715 cry5414 6963 out of his den,4480 4585 if518 he have taken3920 nothing?1115

4 Ревет ли старый лев в лесу, когда нет у него добычи? Молодой лев подает ли голос свой из логовища своего, когда нечего изловить?

5 Can a bird6833 fall5307 in5921 a snare6341 upon the earth,776 where no369 gin4170 is for him? shall one take up5927 a snare6341 from4480 the earth,127 and have taken nothing at all?3920 3808 3920

5 Попадет ли птичка в петлю на земле, когда не раскинута для нее сеть? Снимают ли силок с земли, когда ничего не поймано?

6 Shall a trumpet7782 be blown8628 in the city,5892 and the people5971 not3808 be afraid?2729 shall there be1961 evil7451 in a city,5892 and the LORD3068 hath not3808 done6213 it?

6 Трубит ли труба в городе, и народ не встревожится? Бывает ли беда в городе, которую бы не Иегова сделал?
|

7 Surely3588 the Lord136 GOD3069 will do6213 nothing,3808 1697 but3588 518 he revealeth1540 his secret5475 unto413 his servants5650 the prophets.5030
|
7 Но Господь Иегова ничего не делает, не открыв тайны Своей рабам Своим пророкам.
|
|
8 The lion738 hath roared,7580 who4310 will not3808 fear?3372 the Lord136 GOD3069 hath spoken,1696 who4310 can but3808 prophesy?5012
|
8 Лев ревет, кто не содрогнется? Господь Иегова говорит, кто не будет пророчествовать?
|
|
9 Publish8085 in5921 the palaces759 at Ashdod,795 and in5921 the palaces759 in the land776 of Egypt,4714 and say,559 Assemble yourselves622 upon5921 the mountains2022 of Samaria,8111 and behold7200 the great7227 tumults4103 in the midst8432 thereof, and the oppressed6217 in the midst7130 thereof.

9 Объявите на чертогах в Азоте, и на чертогах в земле египетской, и скажите: соберитесь на горы Самарии, и посмотрите на великие беспорядки в ней, и на притеснения среди ее

10 For they know3045 not3808 to do6213 right,5229 saith5002 the LORD,3068 who store up686 violence2555 and robbery7701 in their palaces.759
|
10 И не умеют они поступать справедливо, говорит Иегова; обиду и грабительство копят в чертогах своих.
|
|
11 Therefore3651 thus3541 saith559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 An adversary6862 there shall be even round about5439 the land;776 and he shall bring down3381 thy strength5797 from4480 thee, and thy palaces759 shall be spoiled.962
|
11 Посему так говорит Господь Иегова: враг, и притом со всех сторон земли! и вынесет из тебя богатство твое, и ограблены будут чертоги твои.

12 Thus3541 saith559 the LORD;3068 As834 the shepherd7462 taketh5337 out of the mouth4480 6310 of the lion738 two8147 legs,3767 or176 a piece915 of an ear;241 so3651 shall the children1121 of Israel3478 be taken out5337 that dwell3427 in Samaria8111 in the corner6285 of a bed,4296 and in Damascus1833 in a couch.6210

12 Так говорит Иегова: как пастух спасает из львиной пасти ноги две, или край уха, так спасены будут сыны Израилевы, сидящие в Самарии на боках ложа и на Дамасских одрах.

13 Hear8085 ye, and testify5749 in the house1004 of Jacob,3290 saith5002 the Lord136 GOD,3069 the God430 of hosts,6635
|
13 Слушайте и объявите в доме Иакова, говорит Господь Иегова, Бог воинств:
|
|
14 That3588 in the day3117 that I shall visit6485 the transgressions6588 of Israel3478 upon5921 him I will also visit6485 5921 the altars4196 of Bethel:1008 and the horns7161 of the altar4196 shall be cut off,1438 and fall5307 to the ground.776
|
14 Ибо в тот день, как Я взгляну на преступления Израилевы, взгляну и на жертвенники Вефильские; и сломятся роги жертвенника, и упадут на землю.

15 And I will smite5221 the winter2779 house1004 with5921 the summer7019 house;1004 and the houses1004 of ivory8127 shall perish,6 and the great7227 houses1004 shall have an end,5486 saith5002 the LORD.3068
|
15 И поражу дом зимний и дом летний, и погибнут дома, украшенные слоновым зубом; и исчезнут дома великолепные, говорит Иегова.
