4 This2063 shall be the service5656 of the sons1121 of Kohath6955 in the tabernacle168 of the congregation,4150 about the most holy things:6944 6944

5 And when the camp4264 setteth forward,5265 Aaron175 shall come,935 and his sons,1121 and they shall take down3381 the covering4539 853 veil,6532 and cover3680 853 the ark727 of testimony5715 with it:

9 And they shall take3947 a cloth899 of blue,8504 and cover3680 853 the candlestick4501 of the light,3974 and his lamps,5216 and his tongs,4457 and his censers,4289 and all3605 the oil8081 vessels3627 thereof, wherewith834 they minister8334 unto it:

10 And they shall put5414 it and all3605 the vessels3627 thereof within413 a covering4372 of badgers'8476 skins,5785 and shall put5414 it upon5921 a bar.4132

11 And upon5921 the golden2091 altar4196 they shall spread6566 a cloth899 of blue,8504 and cover3680 it with a covering4372 of badgers'8476 skins,5785 and shall put7725 853 to the staves905 thereof:

12 And they shall take3947 853 all3605 the instruments3627 of ministry,8335 wherewith834 they minister8334 in the sanctuary,6944 and put5414 them in413 a cloth899 of blue,8504 and cover3680 them with a covering4372 of badgers'8476 skins,5785 and shall put5414 them on5921 a bar: 4132

13 And they shall take away the ashes1878 853 from the altar,4196 and spread6566 a purple713 cloth899 thereon: 5921

14 And they shall put5414 upon5921 it853 all3605 the vessels3627 thereof, wherewith834 they minister8334 about5921 it, even853 the censers,4289 853 the fleshhooks,4207 and the shovels,3257 and the basins,4219 all3605 the vessels3627 of the altar;4196 and they shall spread6566 upon5921 it a covering3681 of badgers'8476 skins,5785 and put7760 to the staves905 of it.

15 And when Aaron175 and his sons1121 have made an end3615 of covering3680 853 the sanctuary,6944 and all3605 the vessels3627 of the sanctuary,6944 as the camp4264 is to set forward;5265 after310 that,3651 the sons1121 of Kohath6955 shall come935 to bear5375 it: but they shall not3808 touch5060 413 any holy thing,6944 lest they die.4191 These428 things are the burden4853 of the sons1121 of Kohath6955 in the tabernacle168 of the congregation.4150

16 And to the office6486 of Eleazar499 the son1121 of Aaron175 the priest3548 pertaineth the oil8081 for the light,3974 and the sweet5561 incense,7004 and the daily8548 meat offering,4503 and the anointing4888 oil,8081 and the oversight6486 of all3605 the tabernacle,4908 and of all3605 that834 therein is, in the sanctuary,6944 and in the vessels3627 thereof.

17 And the LORD3068 spoke1696 unto413 Moses4872 and unto413 Aaron,175 saying,559

18 Cut ye not off3772 408 853 the tribe7626 of the families4940 of the Kohathites6956 from among4480 8432 the Levites: 3881

19 But thus2063 do6213 unto them, that they may live,2421 and not3808 die,4191 when they approach5066 853 unto the most holy things:6944 6944 Aaron175 and his sons1121 shall go in,935 and appoint7760 them every one376 376 to5921 his service5656 and to413 his burden: 4853

20 But they shall not3808 go in935 to see7200 when853 the holy things6944 are covered,1104 lest they die.4191

21 And the LORD3068 spoke1696 unto413 Moses,4872 saying,559

22 Take5375 also1571 853 the sum7218 of the sons1121 of Gershon,1648 throughout the houses1004 of their fathers,1 by their families;4940

23 From thirty7970 years8141 old4480 1121 and upward4605 until5704 fifty2572 years8141 old1121 shalt thou number6485 them; all3605 that enter in935 to perform6633 the service,5656 to do5647 the work5656 in the tabernacle168 of the congregation.4150

24 This2063 is the service5656 of the families4940 of the Gershonites,1649 to serve,5647 and for burdens: 4853

25 And they shall bear5375 853 the curtains3407 of the tabernacle,4908 and the tabernacle168 of the congregation,4150 his covering,4372 and the covering4372 of the badgers' skins8476 that834 is above4480 4605 upon5921 it, and the hanging4539 for the door6607 of the tabernacle168 of the congregation,4150

26 And the hangings7050 of the court,2691 and the hanging4539 for the door6607 of the gate8179 of the court,2691 which834 is by5921 the tabernacle4908 and by5921 the altar4196 round about,5439 and their cords,4340 and all3605 the instruments3627 of their service,5656 and all3605 that834 is made6213 for them: so shall they serve.5647

27 At5921 the appointment6310 of Aaron175 and his sons1121 shall be1961 all3605 the service5656 of the sons1121 of the Gershonites,1649 in all3605 their burdens,4853 and in all3605 their service:5656 and ye shall appoint6485 unto5921 them in charge4931 853 all3605 their burdens.4853

28 This2063 is the service5656 of the families4940 of the sons1121 of Gershon1649 in the tabernacle168 of the congregation:4150 and their charge4931 shall be under the hand3027 of Ithamar385 the son1121 of Aaron175 the priest.3548

29 As for the sons1121 of Merari,4847 thou shalt number6485 them after their families,4940 by the house1004 of their fathers;1

30 From thirty7970 years8141 old4480 1121 and upward4605 even unto5704 fifty2572 years8141 old1121 shalt thou number6485 them, every one3605 that entereth935 into the service,6635 to do5647 853 the work5656 of the tabernacle168 of the congregation.4150

31 And this2063 is the charge4931 of their burden,4853 according to all3605 their service5656 in the tabernacle168 of the congregation;4150 the boards7175 of the tabernacle,4908 and the bars1280 thereof, and the pillars5982 thereof, and sockets134 thereof,

32 And the pillars5982 of the court2691 round about,5439 and their sockets,134 and their pins,3489 and their cords,4340 with all3605 their instruments,3627 and with all3605 their service:5656 and by name8034 ye shall reckon6485 853 the instruments3627 of the charge4931 of their burden.4853

33 This2063 is the service5656 of the families4940 of the sons1121 of Merari,4847 according to all3605 their service,5656 in the tabernacle168 of the congregation,4150 under the hand3027 of Ithamar385 the son1121 of Aaron175 the priest.3548

34 And Moses4872 and Aaron175 and the chief5387 of the congregation5712 numbered6485 853 the sons1121 of the Kohathites6956 after their families,4940 and after the house1004 of their fathers,1

36 And those that were numbered6485 of them by their families4940 were1961 two thousand505 seven7651 hundred3967 and fifty.2572

37 These428 were they that were numbered6485 of the families4940 of the Kohathites,6956 all3605 that might do service5647 in the tabernacle168 of the congregation,4150 which834 Moses4872 and Aaron175 did number6485 according to5921 the commandment6310 of the LORD3068 by the hand3027 of Moses.4872

38 And those that were numbered6485 of the sons1121 of Gershon,1648 throughout their families,4940 and by the house1004 of their fathers,1

39 From thirty7970 years8141 old4480 1121 and upward4605 even unto5704 fifty2572 years8141 old,1121 every one3605 that entereth935 into the service,6635 for the work5656 in the tabernacle168 of the congregation,4150

45 These428 be those that were numbered6485 of the families4940 of the sons1121 of Merari,4847 whom834 Moses4872 and Aaron175 numbered6485 according to5921 the word6310 of the LORD3068 by the hand3027 of Moses.4872

46 All3605 those that were numbered6485 853 of the Levites,3881 whom834 Moses4872 and Aaron175 and the chief5387 of Israel3478 numbered,6485 after their families,4940 and after the house1004 of their fathers,1

47 From thirty7970 years8141 old4480 1121 and upward4605 even unto5704 fifty2572 years8141 old,1121 every one3605 that came935 to do5647 the service5656 of the ministry,5656 and the service5656 of the burden4853 in the tabernacle168 of the congregation,4150

48 Even those that were numbered6485 of them, were1961 eight8083 thousand505 and five2568 hundred3967 and fourscore.8084

49 According to5921 the commandment6310 of the LORD3068 they were numbered6485 by the hand3027 of Moses,4872 every one376 376 according to5921 his service,5656 and according to5921 his burden:4853 thus were they numbered6485 of him, as834 the LORD3068 commanded6680 853 Moses.4872

5 Когда израильскому народу нужно будет отправляться в путь, пусть Аарон с сыновьями войдут в шатёр собрания, снимут завесу и покроют ею святой ковчег Соглашения,

6 затем пусть покроют всё это покровом из тонкой кожи, а поверх кожи набросят ткань синего цвета и вставят шесты в кольца.

7 Затем пусть расстелют на священном столе ткань синего цвета, положат на стол ложки, поставят блюда, чаши и кувшины для приношения возлияний, пусть также положат на стол хлебные приношения.

8 Затем пусть возложат на всё это ткань красного цвета, сверху покроют покровом из тонкой кожи и вставят в кольца шесты.

9 Затем пусть покроют светильники и лампады тканью синего цвета, покроют также все принадлежности, которыми пользуются при зажигании лампад, и все кувшины с маслом для лампад,

10 а потом обернут всё это тонкой кожей и положат на носилки.

11 Пусть расстелют на золотом алтаре ткань синего цвета и положат поверх неё покров из тонкой кожи, а потом вставят шесты.

12 После этого пусть соберут все особые вещи, которыми пользуются при поклонении в святилище, соберут их и обернут тканью синего цвета, а потом покроют её тонкой кожей и положат на носилки.

13 Пусть очистят алтарь от золы и покроют его пурпурной тканью,

14 затем соберут все вещи, которыми пользуются при поклонении у алтаря: жаровни, вилки, лопатки и чаши. Пусть положат всё это на алтарь, потом покроют его покровом из тонкой кожи, а затем вставят шесты, чтобы всё это можно было носить.

15 Когда Аарон и его сыновья покроют все святыни в святилище, только тогда мужчины из семьи Каафа смогут подойти и начать их перенос, но они не должны касаться святилища, чтобы не умереть.

19 Для того чтобы род Каафа мог приблизиться к святыням и не умереть, сделайте вот что: Аарон и его сыновья должны войти и показать каждому из мужчин колена Каафа, что ему делать и что нести.

20 Но сами они не должны входить и смотреть на святыни, чтобы не умереть!»

21 Господь сказал Моисею:

22 «Пересчитай всё колено Гирсона, перечисли их по коленам и родам.

23 Пересчитай всех мужчин от 30 до 50 лет, служивших в армии, этим мужчинам будет поручено заботиться о шатре собрания.

24 Вот какие предметы колено Гирсона обязано переносить:

25 завесы священного шатра и сам шатёр собрания, его покрытие и покров из тонкой кожи, и пусть также несут завесу, которая у входа в священный шатёр.

26 Пусть несут завесы двора, которые находятся вокруг священного шатра и алтаря, пусть несут завесу, которая при входе во двор, все верёвки, а также всё, что прикрепляется к завесам. Колену Гирсона будет поручено всё, что надлежит делать с этими вещами.

31 Когда будете отправляться в путь, они должны будут нести брусья шатра собрания. Пусть несут брусья, столбы и основания,

32 а также и столбы, которые находятся вокруг двора. Пусть несут основания, колья шатра, верёвки и все принадлежности к столбам, которые вокруг двора. Запиши имена этих мужчин и скажи каждому, что ему нести.

33 Вот что должно делать колено Мерари, исполняя службу при шатре собрания под надзором Ифамара, сына священника Аарона».

34 Моисей, Аарон и вожди израильского народа пересчитали сынов Каафа по их коленам и родам

35 от 30 до 50 лет, способных служить при шатре собрания, и этим мужчинам была поручена особая работа при шатре.

36 В колене Каафа было 2 750 мужчин, способных исполнять эту работу.

37 Этим мужчинам было поручено исполнять особую работу при шатре собрания. Моисей и Аарон всё исполнили именно так, как Господь повелел Моисею.

38 Было пересчитано также и колено Гирсона,

39 были пересчитаны все мужчины от 30 до 50 лет, способные служить, и этим мужчинам было поручено исполнять особую работу при шатре собрания.

40 В семьях колена Гирсона было 2 630 мужчин, способных исполнять эту работу.

41 Этим мужчинам из колена Гирсона было поручено исполнять особую работу при шатре собрания. Моисей и Аарон сделали то, что Господь повелел Моисею.

42 Были пересчитаны и мужчины из колена Мерари по их коленам и родам,

43 возрастом от 30 до 50 лет и способные служить. Им было поручено исполнять особую работу при шатре собрания.

44 В колене Мерари было 3 200 мужчин, способных исполнять такую работу.

45 Этим мужчинам было поручено исполнять особую работу при шатре собрания. Моисей и Аарон сделали то, что Господь повелел Моисею.

46 Моисей, Аарон и вожди израильского народа пересчитали всех членов рода Левия, все колена и семьи.

47 Они пересчитали всех мужчин в возрасте от 30 до 50 лет, способных служить, и им была поручена особая работа при шатре собрания. В их обязанности входил перенос шатра во время переходов.

48 Их общее число составляло 8 580

49 Итак, все мужчины были пересчитаны, как повелел Моисею Господь. Каждому из них были поручены свои обязанности и даны указания, что ему необходимо было нести. Всё было сделано именно так, как приказал Господь.
