Chapter 4

1 Thou859 also, son1121 of man,120 take3947 thee a tile,3843 and lay5414 it before6440 thee, and portray2710 upon5921 it the city,5892 even853 Jerusalem: 3389

2 And lay5414 siege4692 against5921 it, and build1129 a fort1785 against5921 it, and cast8210 a mount5550 against5921 it; set5414 the camp4264 also against5921 it, and set7760 battering rams3733 against5921 it round about.5439

3 Moreover take3947 thou859 unto thee an iron1270 pan,4227 and set5414 it for a wall7023 of iron1270 between996 thee and the city:5892 and set3559 853 thy face6440 against413 it, and it shall be1961 besieged,4692 and thou shalt lay siege6696 against5921 it. This1931 shall be a sign226 to the house1004 of Israel.3478

4 Lie7901 thou859 also upon5921 thy left8042 side,6654 and lay7760 853 the iniquity5771 of the house1004 of Israel3478 upon5921 it: according to the number4557 of the days3117 that834 thou shalt lie7901 upon5921 it thou shalt bear5375 853 their iniquity.5771

5 For I589 have laid5414 upon thee853 the years8141 of their iniquity,5771 according to the number4557 of the days,3117 three7969 hundred3967 and ninety8673 days:3117 so shalt thou bear5375 the iniquity5771 of the house1004 of Israel.3478

6 And when thou hast accomplished3615 853 them,428 lie7901 again8145 on5921 thy right3233 side,6654 and thou shalt bear5375 853 the iniquity5771 of the house1004 of Judah3063 forty705 days:3117 I have appointed5414 thee each day for a year.3117 8141 3117 8141

7 Therefore thou shalt set3559 thy face6440 toward413 the siege4692 of Jerusalem,3389 and thine arm2220 shall be uncovered,2834 and thou shalt prophesy5012 against5921 it.

8 And, behold,2009 I will lay5414 bands5688 upon5921 thee, and thou shalt not3808 turn2015 thee from one side4480 6654 to413 another,6654 till5704 thou hast ended3615 the days3117 of thy siege.4692

9 Take3947 thou859 also unto thee wheat,2406 and barley,8184 and beans,6321 and lentils,5742 and millet,1764 and fitches,3698 and put5414 them in one259 vessel,3627 and make6213 thee bread3899 thereof, according to the number4557 of the days3117 that834 thou859 shalt lie7901 upon5921 thy side,6654 three7969 hundred3967 and ninety8673 days3117 shalt thou eat398 thereof.

10 And thy meat3978 which834 thou shalt eat398 shall be by weight,4946 twenty6242 shekels8255 a day:3117 from time4480 6256 to5704 time6256 shalt thou eat398 it.

11 Thou shalt drink8354 also water4325 by measure,4884 the sixth part8345 of a hin:1969 from time4480 6256 to5704 time6256 shalt thou drink.8354

12 And thou shalt eat398 it as barley8184 cakes,5692 and thou shalt bake5746 it1931 with dung1561 that cometh out6627 of man,120 in their sight.5869

13 And the LORD3068 said,559 Even thus3602 shall the children1121 of Israel3478 eat398 their defiled2931 853 bread3899 among the Gentiles,1471 whither834 8033 I will drive5080 them.

14 Then said559 I, Ah162 Lord136 GOD!3069 behold,2009 my soul5315 hath not3808 been polluted:2930 for from my youth4480 5271 up even till5704 now6258 have I not3808 eaten398 of that which dieth of itself,5038 or is torn in pieces;2966 neither3808 came935 there abominable6292 flesh1320 into my mouth.6310

15 Then he said559 unto413 me, Lo,7200 I have given5414 thee853 cow's1241 dung6832 for8478 man's120 dung,1561 and thou shalt prepare6213 853 thy bread3899 therewith.5921

16 Moreover he said559 unto413 me, Son1121 of man,120 behold,2009 I will break7665 the staff4294 of bread3899 in Jerusalem:3389 and they shall eat398 bread3899 by weight,4948 and with care;1674 and they shall drink8354 water4325 by measure,4884 and with astonishment: 8078

17 That4616 they may want2637 bread3899 and water,4325 and be astonished8074 one376 with another,251 and consume away4743 for their iniquity.5771

1 А ти, сину лю́дський, візьми собі цегли́ну, і поклади її перед собою, і накре́слиш на ній місто Єрусалим.

2 І постав проти нього обло́гу, і збудуй проти нього ба́шту, і ви́сип ва́ла навко́ло нього, і постав проти нього табо́ри ві́йська, і постав проти нього муроло́ми.

3 І візьми собі залізну ско́вороду, і постав її ніби залізною стіною поміж собою та між тим містом, і зверни своє обличчя до нього, і буде воно в обло́зі, і ти обля́жеш його. Це ознака для Ізраїлевого дому!

4 А ти лягай на лівий свій бік, і поклади на нього провину Ізраїлевого дому. За числом днів, що будеш лежати на ньому, ти будеш носити їхню провину.

5 І Я призна́чив тобі роки їхньої провини за числом днів, — три сотні й дев'ятдеся́т днів, і ти бу́деш носити провину Ізраїлевого дому.

6 А коли ти це скінчи́ш, то ляжеш удру́ге, на правий свій бік, і бу́деш носити провину Юдиного дому сорок день, — один день за один рік Я тобі призна́чив.

7 І на обло́гу Єрусалиму зверни своє обличчя та відкрите раме́но своє, і бу́деш пророкувати на нього.

8 І ось Я накладу́ на тебе шну́ри, і ти не пове́рнешся з боку одно́го на інший бік, аж поки ти не закінчи́ш днів своєї облоги.

9 А ти візьми собі пшениці та ячме́ню, і бобі́в та сочеви́ці, і проса та ви́ки, і даси їх до одно́го по́суду, і зробиш із них собі хліб, за кі́лькістю днів, що лежа́тимеш на боці своєму, — три сотні й дев'ятдеся́т день будеш те їсти.

10 А ї́жа твоя, яку будеш ти їсти, буде вагою двадцять ше́клів на день, час від ча́су будеш це їсти.

11 І воду будеш пити мірою, шоста частина гі́на, час від ча́су будеш пити.

12 І їстимеш це, як ячмінного калача́, і будеш пекти це на кава́лках лю́дського калу, перед їхніми очи́ма“.

13 І сказав Господь: „Так будуть їсти Ізраїлеві сини свій нечистий хліб серед тих наро́дів, куди Я їх ви́жену“.

14 А я відказав: „О Господи, Боже, ось душа моя не занечи́щена, і па́дла та розшмато́ваного зві́рями я не їв від мо́лодости своєї й аж дотепер, і м'ясо нечисте не вхо́дило в мої уста“.

15 І сказав Він до мене: „Дивися, Я дав тобі това́рячий гній замість лю́дського калу, — і ти зроби на ньому свій хліб!“

16 І сказав Він до мене: „Сину лю́дський, ось Я поламаю підпо́ру хліба в Єрусалимі, і будуть їсти хліб за вагою та в страху́, а воду будуть пити за мірою та зо сму́тком,

17 щоб відчули вони брак хліба та води, і жахну́лися один з о́дним, і вони зни́діють за свій гріх!

3 І візьми собі залізну ско́вороду, і постав її ніби залізною стіною поміж собою та між тим містом, і зверни своє обличчя до нього, і буде воно в обло́зі, і ти обля́жеш його. Це ознака для Ізраїлевого дому!

4 А ти лягай на лівий свій бік, і поклади на нього провину Ізраїлевого дому. За числом днів, що будеш лежати на ньому, ти будеш носити їхню провину.

6 А коли ти це скінчи́ш, то ляжеш удру́ге, на правий свій бік, і бу́деш носити провину Юдиного дому сорок день, — один день за один рік Я тобі призна́чив.

7 І на обло́гу Єрусалиму зверни своє обличчя та відкрите раме́но своє, і бу́деш пророкувати на нього.

8 І ось Я накладу́ на тебе шну́ри, і ти не пове́рнешся з боку одно́го на інший бік, аж поки ти не закінчи́ш днів своєї облоги.

9 А ти візьми собі пшениці та ячме́ню, і бобі́в та сочеви́ці, і проса та ви́ки, і даси їх до одно́го по́суду, і зробиш із них собі хліб, за кі́лькістю днів, що лежа́тимеш на боці своєму, — три сотні й дев'ятдеся́т день будеш те їсти.

10 And thy meat3978 which834 thou shalt eat398 shall be by weight,4946 twenty6242 shekels8255 a day:3117 from time4480 6256 to5704 time6256 shalt thou eat398 it.

10 А ї́жа твоя, яку будеш ти їсти, буде вагою двадцять ше́клів на день, час від ча́су будеш це їсти.

11 І воду будеш пити мірою, шоста частина гі́на, час від ча́су будеш пити.

12 І їстимеш це, як ячмінного калача́, і будеш пекти це на кава́лках лю́дського калу, перед їхніми очи́ма“.

13 And the LORD3068 said,559 Even thus3602 shall the children1121 of Israel3478 eat398 their defiled2931 853 bread3899 among the Gentiles,1471 whither834 8033 I will drive5080 them.

13 І сказав Господь: „Так будуть їсти Ізраїлеві сини свій нечистий хліб серед тих наро́дів, куди Я їх ви́жену“.

14 А я відказав: „О Господи, Боже, ось душа моя не занечи́щена, і па́дла та розшмато́ваного зві́рями я не їв від мо́лодости своєї й аж дотепер, і м'ясо нечисте не вхо́дило в мої уста“.

15 І сказав Він до мене: „Дивися, Я дав тобі това́рячий гній замість лю́дського калу, — і ти зроби на ньому свій хліб!“

16 І сказав Він до мене: „Сину лю́дський, ось Я поламаю підпо́ру хліба в Єрусалимі, і будуть їсти хліб за вагою та в страху́, а воду будуть пити за мірою та зо сму́тком,

17 That4616 they may want2637 bread3899 and water,4325 and be astonished8074 one376 with another,251 and consume away4743 for their iniquity.5771

17 щоб відчули вони брак хліба та води, і жахну́лися один з о́дним, і вони зни́діють за свій гріх!
