1 And the chief7218 fathers1 of the families4940 of the children1121 of Gilead,1568 the son1121 of Machir,4353 the son1121 of Manasseh,4519 of the families4480 4940 of the sons1121 of Joseph,3130 came near,7126 and spoke1696 before6440 Moses,4872 and before6440 the princes,5387 the chief7218 fathers1 of the children1121 of Israel: 3478

2 And they said,559 The LORD3068 commanded6680 853 my lord113 to give5414 853 the land776 for an inheritance5159 by lot1486 to the children1121 of Israel:3478 and my lord113 was commanded6680 by the LORD3068 to give5414 853 the inheritance5159 of Zelophehad6765 our brother251 unto his daughters.1323

3 And if they be married1961 802 to any259 of the sons4480 1121 of the other tribes7626 of the children1121 of Israel,3478 then shall their inheritance5159 be taken1639 from the inheritance4480 5159 of our fathers,1 and shall be put3254 to5921 the inheritance5159 of the tribe4294 whereunto834 they are received:1961 so shall it be taken1639 from the lot4480 1486 of our inheritance.5159

4 And when518 the jubilee3104 of the children1121 of Israel3478 shall be,1961 then shall their inheritance5159 be put3254 unto5921 the inheritance5159 of the tribe4294 whereunto834 they are received:1961 so shall their inheritance5159 be taken away1639 from the inheritance4480 5159 of the tribe4294 of our fathers.1

5 And Moses4872 commanded6680 853 the children1121 of Israel3478 according to5921 the word6310 of the LORD,3068 saying,559 The tribe4294 of the sons1121 of Joseph3130 hath said1696 well.3651

6 This2088 is the thing1697 which834 the LORD3068 doth command6680 concerning the daughters1323 of Zelophehad,6765 saying,559 Let them marry1961 802 to whom they think best;2896 5869 only389 to the family4940 of the tribe4294 of their father1 shall they marry.1961 802

7 So shall not3808 the inheritance5159 of the children1121 of Israel3478 remove5437 from tribe4480 4294 to413 tribe:4294 for3588 every one376 of the children1121 of Israel3478 shall keep1692 himself to the inheritance5159 of the tribe4294 of his fathers.1

8 And every3605 daughter,1323 that possesseth3423 an inheritance5159 in any tribe4480 4294 of the children1121 of Israel,3478 shall be1961 wife802 unto one259 of the family4480 4940 of the tribe4294 of her father,1 that4616 the children1121 of Israel3478 may enjoy3423 every man376 the inheritance5159 of his fathers.1

9 Neither3808 shall the inheritance5159 remove5437 from one tribe4480 4294 to another312 tribe;4294 but3588 every one376 of the tribes4294 of the children1121 of Israel3478 shall keep1692 himself to his own inheritance.5159

10 Even as834 the LORD3068 commanded6680 853 Moses,4872 so3651 did6213 the daughters1323 of Zelophehad: 6765

11 For Mahlah,4244 Tirzah,8656 and Hoglah,2295 and Milcah,4435 and Noah,5270 the daughters1323 of Zelophehad,6765 were married1961 802 unto their father's brothers'1730 sons: 1121

12 And they were married1961 802 into the families4480 4940 of the sons1121 of Manasseh4519 the son1121 of Joseph,3130 and their inheritance5159 remained1961 in5921 the tribe4294 of the family4940 of their father.1

13 These428 are the commandments4687 and the judgments,4941 which834 the LORD3068 commanded6680 by the hand3027 of Moses4872 unto413 the children1121 of Israel3478 in the plains6160 of Moab4124 by5921 Jordan3383 near Jericho.3405

1 І поприхо́дили го́лови ба́тьківських домів родів синів Ґілеада, сина Махіра, сина Манасіїного з родів Йо́сипових синів, і промовили перед Мойсеєм та перед князя́ми, го́ловами ба́тьківських домів Ізраїлевих синів,

2 і сказали: „Господь наказав моєму панові дати жеребком цей край Ізраїлевим синам, і пан мій отримав Господнього нака́за дати спа́док нашого брата Целофхада його до́чкам.

3 І якщо вони будуть за жінок кому́ з синів інших племен Ізраїлевих синів, то буде віднята їхня спа́дщина зо спа́дку наших батьків, і буде до́дане над спа́док тому пле́мені, що вони стануть їм за жінок, а з жеребка́ нашого спа́дку буде відняте.

4 А якщо Ізраїлевим синам буде ювілей, то буде їхня спа́дщина до́дана до спа́дку племени, що стануть їм за жінок, і їхня спадщина буде віднята від спа́дку племени наших батьків“.

5 І наказав Мойсей Ізраїлевим синам за Господнім нака́зом, говорячи: „Слушно говорить пле́м'я Йо́сипових синів.

6 Оце та річ, що Господь заповів про Целофхадових дочо́к, говорячи: Вони стануть за жінок тим, хто їм подо́бається, тільки родові племени їхнього батька вони стануть за жіно́к.

7 І не буде перехо́дити спа́дщина Ізраїлевих синів від племени до племени, бо кожен із Ізраїлевих синів буде держатися спа́дщини племени своїх батьків.

8 А кожна дочка́, що пося́де спа́дщину від племени Ізраїлевих синів, стане за жінку одно́му з роду племени батька свого, щоб Ізраїлеві сини володіли кожен спа́дком батьків своїх.

9 І не буде перехо́дити спа́док від племени до іншого племени, бо кожен із племен Ізраїлевих синів буде держатися спа́дку свого“.

10 Як Господь наказав був Мойсеєві, так учинили Целофхадові до́чки.

11 І стали Целофхадові до́чки: Махла, Тірца, і Хоґла, і Мілка, і Ноа за жіно́к для синів дядьків своїх.

12 Тим, що з родів синів Манасіїних, сина Йо́сипового, стали вони за жіно́к, а їхня спа́дщина залиши́лася за пле́менем роду їхнього батька.

13 Оце за́повіді та постанови, що Господь наказав був через Мойсея Ізраїлевим синам у моавських степа́х над приєрихо́нським Йорда́ном.

2 і сказали: „Господь наказав моєму панові дати жеребком цей край Ізраїлевим синам, і пан мій отримав Господнього нака́за дати спа́док нашого брата Целофхада його до́чкам.

3 And if they be married1961 802 to any259 of the sons4480 1121 of the other tribes7626 of the children1121 of Israel,3478 then shall their inheritance5159 be taken1639 from the inheritance4480 5159 of our fathers,1 and shall be put3254 to5921 the inheritance5159 of the tribe4294 whereunto834 they are received:1961 so shall it be taken1639 from the lot4480 1486 of our inheritance.5159

3 І якщо вони будуть за жінок кому́ з синів інших племен Ізраїлевих синів, то буде віднята їхня спа́дщина зо спа́дку наших батьків, і буде до́дане над спа́док тому пле́мені, що вони стануть їм за жінок, а з жеребка́ нашого спа́дку буде відняте.

4 And when518 the jubilee3104 of the children1121 of Israel3478 shall be,1961 then shall their inheritance5159 be put3254 unto5921 the inheritance5159 of the tribe4294 whereunto834 they are received:1961 so shall their inheritance5159 be taken away1639 from the inheritance4480 5159 of the tribe4294 of our fathers.1

4 А якщо Ізраїлевим синам буде ювілей, то буде їхня спа́дщина до́дана до спа́дку племени, що стануть їм за жінок, і їхня спадщина буде віднята від спа́дку племени наших батьків“.

5 And Moses4872 commanded6680 853 the children1121 of Israel3478 according to5921 the word6310 of the LORD,3068 saying,559 The tribe4294 of the sons1121 of Joseph3130 hath said1696 well.3651

5 І наказав Мойсей Ізраїлевим синам за Господнім нака́зом, говорячи: „Слушно говорить пле́м'я Йо́сипових синів.

8 А кожна дочка́, що пося́де спа́дщину від племени Ізраїлевих синів, стане за жінку одно́му з роду племени батька свого, щоб Ізраїлеві сини володіли кожен спа́дком батьків своїх.

10 Як Господь наказав був Мойсеєві, так учинили Целофхадові до́чки.

12 And they were married1961 802 into the families4480 4940 of the sons1121 of Manasseh4519 the son1121 of Joseph,3130 and their inheritance5159 remained1961 in5921 the tribe4294 of the family4940 of their father.1

12 Тим, що з родів синів Манасіїних, сина Йо́сипового, стали вони за жіно́к, а їхня спа́дщина залиши́лася за пле́менем роду їхнього батька.

13 These428 are the commandments4687 and the judgments,4941 which834 the LORD3068 commanded6680 by the hand3027 of Moses4872 unto413 the children1121 of Israel3478 in the plains6160 of Moab4124 by5921 Jordan3383 near Jericho.3405
