Psalm 85

1 LORD, thou hast been favorable to thy land; thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.

2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquity of thy people, thou hast covered all their sin.

3 Thou hast taken away all thy wrath; thou hast withdrawn the fierceness of thine anger.

4 Restore us, O God our Saviour, and cause thine anger toward us to cease.

5 Be not angry with us for ever; hold not thine anger against all generations.

6 Restore us and revive us, that thy people may rejoice in thee.

7 Show us thy mercy, O LORD, and grant us thy salvation.

8 We will hear what the LORD our God will speak; for he will speak peace to his people and to his saints, that they may not turn again to folly.

9 Surely his salvation is near them that reverence him; let his glory dwell in our land.

10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

11 Truth shall spring out of the earth; and righteousness shall look down from heaven.

12 Yea, the LORD shall give his goodness; and the land shall yield its fruits.

13 And the righteous shall go before him; and he shall establish his ways upon the earth.

1 Молитва Давида Внемли мне, ГОСПОДИ, и отзовись — удручен я и в большой нужде.

2 Жизнь сохрани мою, ибо я верным Тебе остаюсь. Спаси слугу Своего, Тебе доверившегося, ведь Ты — мой Бог.

3 Господи, будь милостив ко мне, к Тебе взываю я весь день.

4 Радостью наполни душу слуги Своего, ибо к Тебе, Господи, она устремлена.

5 Добр Ты, Господи, и прощать готов, изобилуешь любовью неизменной ко всем, кто к Тебе о помощи взывает.

6 Услышь, ГОСПОДИ, молитву мою, внемли молениям моим.

7 В день бедствия моего к Тебе взываю, ибо верю: Ты отзовешься.

8 Нет среди богов подобного Тебе, Господи, и нет дел, подобных Твоим.

9 Все народы, Тобой сотворенные, придут и пред Тобою преклонятся, Господи, прославят они имя Твое.

10 Ибо велик Ты и дела дивные творишь, Ты — Бог, и нет иного.

11 Укажи мне, ГОСПОДИ, путь Свой, дабы мне поступать по истине Твоей, и вложи в мое сердце одно лишь стремление — пред именем Твоим благоговеть.

12 Господи, Боже мой, от всего сердца я буду благодарить Тебя и вовек прославлять Твое имя,

13 ибо велика милость Твоя ко мне: Ты от самой могилы меня избавил.

1 Молитва Давида Внемли мне, ГОСПОДИ, и отзовись — удручен я и в большой нужде.

4 Радостью наполни душу слуги Своего, ибо к Тебе, Господи, она устремлена.
