Chapter 10

1 THEN I looked, and behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubim there appeared over them something with the appearance of a sapphire stone, and the form of a throne.

2 And the voice spoke to the man clothed in linen, and said, Go in between the wheels, even under the cherubim; and fill your hand with the coals of fire from between the cherubim, and scatter them over the city. And he went in my sight.

3 Now the cherubim were standing on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.

4 Then the glory of God went up from the cherub that stood over the threshhold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD'S glory.

5 And the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard as far as the outer court, like the voice of God when he speaks.

6 And it came to pass, when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubim; he went in and stood beside the wheels.

7 Then one cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubim to the fire that was between the cherubim, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of the man who was clothed with linen, who took it and went out.

8 And I looked, and behold, there appeared in the cherubim the form of a man's hand under their wings.

9 And I looked, and behold, there were four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside each cherub, and the appearance of the wheels was like the color of beryl stone.

10 And as for their appearance and the form, the four of them were alike, as if a wheel were in the midst of a wheel.

11 When they went, they went upon four sides; they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the first one went they followed it, they turned not as they went.

12 And their whole body and their backs and their hands and their wings and the wheels were full of eyes when they turned on their sides.

13 And as for the wheels, he called them Rolling Wheels, in my presence.

14 And every one of them had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.

15 And the cherubim were lifted up. This is the same living creature that I saw by the river Chebar.

16 And when the cherubim went, the wheels also went beside them; and when the cherubim lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the wheels also turned not from beside them.

17 When they stood, these stood; and when they were lifted up, these were lifted up also; when the cherubim lifted their wings, the wheels also lifted up with them; for the spirit of life was in them.

18 Then the glory of the LORD departed from the corner of the temple, and stood over the cherubim.

19 And the cherubim lifted up their wings and mounted up from the earth in my sight; when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and they stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD'S house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them.

20 These were the living creatures that I saw under the God of Israel by the river Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubim.

21 Each one had four faces, and each one four wings; and the likeness of a man's hand was under their wings.

22 And as for the likeness of their faces, they were like the same faces that I saw by the river Chebar, and their appearance was the same; they went every one straight forward.

1 И вижу, и се, над твердью, которая над главами херувимов, как бы камень сапфир, как бы нечто похожее на престол видимо было над ними.

2 И говорил Он человеку, одетому в полотняную одежду, и сказал: войди между колесами под херувимов, и возьми полные пригоршни горящих угольев между херувимами, и брось на город; и он вошел при моих глазах.

3 Херувимы же стояли по правую сторону Дома, когда вошел оный человек, и облако наполняло внутренний двор.

4 И поднялась слава Иеговы с херувима к порогу Дома, и Дом весь занят был облаком, и двор наполнен был сиянием славы Иеговы.

5 И шум от крыльев херувимских слышен был даже на внешнем дворе, как бы глас Вседержителя, когда Он говорит.

6 И когда Он дал приказание оному человеку, одетому в полотняную одежду, сказав: возьми огня между колесами, между херувимами; тогда сей пришел, и стал у колеса.

7 И простер херувим руку свою между херувимами к огню, который между херувимами, и взял, и подал в пригоршни одетому в полотняную одежду. Сей взял, и пошел.

8 И видно было у херувимов подобие руки человеческой под крыльями их.

9 И видел я, и се, четыре колеса подле херувимов, по одному колесу подле каждого херувима, и колеса по виду как бы из камня топаза.

10 И на взгляд у всех четырех одно подобие, как будто бы колесо находилось в колесе.

11 Когда шли они, то шли прямо на четыре свои стороны; во время шествия своего не оборачивались, но к тому месту, куда обращена была голова, и они шли за нею; не оборачивались во время шествия своего.

12 И все тело их и спина их, и руки их, и крылья их, и колеса кругом были полны очей, все четыре колеса их.

13 Колеса сии называемы были: `галгал` в ушах моих.

14 И у каждого из сих живых существ четыре лица: первое лице - лице херувимово, второе лице - лице человеческое, третие лице львиное, и четвертое лице орлиное.

15 Херувимы могли подниматься. Это тоже живое существо, которое я видел на реке Хеваре.

16 И когда шли херувимы, тогда шли подле них и колеса; и когда херувимы поднимали крылья свои, чтоб подняться от земли, тогда и колеса не отставали от них.

17 Когда те стояли, стояли и сии; когда те поднимались, поднимались и сии: ибо и в них был дух жизни.

18 И отошла слава Иеговы от порога Дома, и стала над херувимами.

19 И подняли херувимы крылья свои, и поднялись в глазах моих от земли в шествии своем, и подле них колеса; и стали у дверей врат восточных Дома Иеговы, и слава Бога Израилева вверху над ними.

20 Это то же живое существо, которое я видел под Богом Израилевым на реке Хеваре. И я узнал, что это херувимы.

21 У каждого по четыре лица, и у каждого по четыре крыла, и под крыльями их подобие рук человеческих.

22 А подобие лиц их то же, какие лица видел я на реке Хеваре, вид их, и сами они. Каждый шел прямо в ту сторону, которая была пред лицем его.

2 И говорил Он человеку, одетому в полотняную одежду, и сказал: войди между колесами под херувимов, и возьми полные пригоршни горящих угольев между херувимами, и брось на город; и он вошел при моих глазах.

3 Now the cherubim were standing on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.

3 Херувимы же стояли по правую сторону Дома, когда вошел оный человек, и облако наполняло внутренний двор.

4 Then the glory of God went up from the cherub that stood over the threshhold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD'S glory.

4 И поднялась слава Иеговы с херувима к порогу Дома, и Дом весь занят был облаком, и двор наполнен был сиянием славы Иеговы.

5 And the sound of the wings of the cherubim was heard as far as the outer court, like the voice of God when he speaks.

5 И шум от крыльев херувимских слышен был даже на внешнем дворе, как бы глас Вседержителя, когда Он говорит.

6 And it came to pass, when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubim; he went in and stood beside the wheels.

6 И когда Он дал приказание оному человеку, одетому в полотняную одежду, сказав: возьми огня между колесами, между херувимами; тогда сей пришел, и стал у колеса.

7 Then one cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubim to the fire that was between the cherubim, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of the man who was clothed with linen, who took it and went out.

7 И простер херувим руку свою между херувимами к огню, который между херувимами, и взял, и подал в пригоршни одетому в полотняную одежду. Сей взял, и пошел.

8 And I looked, and behold, there appeared in the cherubim the form of a man's hand under their wings.

8 И видно было у херувимов подобие руки человеческой под крыльями их.

9 And I looked, and behold, there were four wheels beside the cherubim, one wheel beside each cherub, and the appearance of the wheels was like the color of beryl stone.

9 И видел я, и се, четыре колеса подле херувимов, по одному колесу подле каждого херувима, и колеса по виду как бы из камня топаза.

10 And as for their appearance and the form, the four of them were alike, as if a wheel were in the midst of a wheel.

10 И на взгляд у всех четырех одно подобие, как будто бы колесо находилось в колесе.

11 When they went, they went upon four sides; they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the first one went they followed it, they turned not as they went.

11 Когда шли они, то шли прямо на четыре свои стороны; во время шествия своего не оборачивались, но к тому месту, куда обращена была голова, и они шли за нею; не оборачивались во время шествия своего.

12 And their whole body and their backs and their hands and their wings and the wheels were full of eyes when they turned on their sides.

12 И все тело их и спина их, и руки их, и крылья их, и колеса кругом были полны очей, все четыре колеса их.

13 And as for the wheels, he called them Rolling Wheels, in my presence.

13 Колеса сии называемы были: `галгал` в ушах моих.

15 Херувимы могли подниматься. Это тоже живое существо, которое я видел на реке Хеваре.

16 And when the cherubim went, the wheels also went beside them; and when the cherubim lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the wheels also turned not from beside them.

16 И когда шли херувимы, тогда шли подле них и колеса; и когда херувимы поднимали крылья свои, чтоб подняться от земли, тогда и колеса не отставали от них.

17 When they stood, these stood; and when they were lifted up, these were lifted up also; when the cherubim lifted their wings, the wheels also lifted up with them; for the spirit of life was in them.

17 Когда те стояли, стояли и сии; когда те поднимались, поднимались и сии: ибо и в них был дух жизни.

18 Then the glory of the LORD departed from the corner of the temple, and stood over the cherubim.

18 И отошла слава Иеговы от порога Дома, и стала над херувимами.

19 And the cherubim lifted up their wings and mounted up from the earth in my sight; when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and they stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD'S house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them.

19 И подняли херувимы крылья свои, и поднялись в глазах моих от земли в шествии своем, и подле них колеса; и стали у дверей врат восточных Дома Иеговы, и слава Бога Израилева вверху над ними.

20 These were the living creatures that I saw under the God of Israel by the river Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubim.

20 Это то же живое существо, которое я видел под Богом Израилевым на реке Хеваре. И я узнал, что это херувимы.

21 Each one had four faces, and each one four wings; and the likeness of a man's hand was under their wings.

21 У каждого по четыре лица, и у каждого по четыре крыла, и под крыльями их подобие рук человеческих.

22 And as for the likeness of their faces, they were like the same faces that I saw by the river Chebar, and their appearance was the same; they went every one straight forward.

22 А подобие лиц их то же, какие лица видел я на реке Хеваре, вид их, и сами они. Каждый шел прямо в ту сторону, которая была пред лицем его.
