Psalm 112

1 PRAISE the LORD. Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who is vigilant in his commandments.

2 His descendants shall be mighty upon earth; he shall be blessed in the generation of the upright.

3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house; and his righteousness endures for ever.

4 To the upright there shines a light in the darkness; he is gracious and full of compassion upon the righteous.

5 Blessed is the man who shows mercy and lends; he shall proclaim his words with judgment.

6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever; the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

8 His heart is strengthened; he shall not be afraid, until he sees his desire upon his enemies.

9 He has given generously, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures for ever and ever; his horn shall be exalted with honor.

10 The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash his teeth and be confounded; the desire of the wicked shall perish.

1 Аллилуйя. Хвалите, рабы Господни, хвалите имя Господне.

2 Да будет имя Господне благословенно отныне и вовек.

3 От восхода солнца до запада да будет славимо имя Господне.

4 Высок над всеми народами Господь; превыше небес слава Его.

5 Кто как Иегова, Бог наш, Который восседит на высоте,

6 [И] преклоняется, чтобы видеть то, что на небесах и на земле?

7 Который из праха подъемлет бедного, из брения возвышает нищего;

8 И посаждает его с вельможами, с вельможами в его народе;

9 От неплодной населяет дом, соделав ее радостною матерью сынов. Аллилуйя!
