Psalm 101

1 I WILL sing of mercy and judgment; unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.

2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes; I hate the doers of evil, they shall not come near to me.

4 A perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know not evil.

5 He who accuses his neighbor falsely will I destroy; with him who has a high look and a proud heart I will not eat.

6 Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; he who walks in a perfect way shall serve me.

7 He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house; he who tells lies shall not tarry in my sight.

8 In the early morning I will silence all the wicked of the earth; and I will destroy all the doers of iniquity from the city of the LORD.

1 Молитва страдающего человека, когда он слаб и изливает свои жалобы Господу.

2 Господь, услышь мою молитву! Мой плач о помощи пусть до Тебя дойдёт.

3 Не отверни Своё лицо, когда со мной случается несчастье. Услышь меня, ответь скорей, когда Тебя зову.

4 Жизнь моя тает словно дым иль догорающий костёр.

5 Мои силы покинули меня, иссохло моё сердце как трава, и о еде я даже позабыл.

6 Я похудел от грусти и печали, лишь кожа и кости остались от меня.

7 Я как сова в пустыне одинок, как филин, на развалинах живущий.

8 Лежу в бессоннице, похож на птицу одинокую на крыше.
