1 Da fiel5307 Joseph3130 auf6440 seines Vaters1 Angesicht und weinete über ihm und küssete ihn.

1 And Joseph3130 fell5307 on his father's1 face,6440 and wept1058 on him, and kissed5401 him.

2 Und Joseph3130 befahl6680 seinen Knechten5650, den Ärzten7495, daß sie seinen Vater1 salbeten. Und die Ärzte7495 salbeten Israel3478,

2 And Joseph3130 commanded6680 his servants5650 the physicians7495 to embalm2590 his father:1 and the physicians7495 embalmed2590 Israel.3478

3 bis daß vierzig705 Tage3117 um waren4390; denn so lange währen die Salbetage2590. Und4390 die Ägypter4714 beweineten ihn siebenzig Tage3117.

3 And forty705 days3117 were fulfilled4390 for him; for so3651 are fulfilled4390 the days3117 of those which are embalmed:2590 and the Egyptians4714 mourned1058 for him three score7657 and ten days.3117

4 Da3117 nun die Leidetage aus waren5674, redete1696 Joseph3130 mit241 Pharaos6547 Gesinde1004 und sprach559: Habe4672 ich559 Gnade2580 vor5869 euch funden, so redet1696 mit Pharao6547 und sprechet:

4 And when the days3117 of his mourning1086 were past,5674 Joseph3130 spoke1696 to the house1004 of Pharaoh,6547 saying,559 If518 now4994 I have found4672 grace2580 in your eyes,5869 speak,1696 I pray4994 you, in the ears241 of Pharaoh,6547 saying,559

5 Mein Vater1 hat einen Eid7650 von mir genommen und gesagt559: Siehe2009, ich sterbe4191; begrabe6912 mich in meinem Grabe6913, das776 ich mir im Lande Kanaan3667 gegraben habe3738. So will7725 ich nun hinaufziehen5927 und meinen Vater1 begraben6912 und wiederkommen.

5 My father1 made me swear,7650 saying,559 See,2009 I die:4191 in my grave6913 which834 I have dig3738 for me in the land776 of Canaan,3667 there8033 shall you bury6912 me. Now6258 therefore let me go5927 up, I pray4994 you, and bury6912 my father,1 and I will come7725 again.7725

6 Pharao6547 sprach559: Zeuch hinauf5927 und begrabe6912 deinen Vater1, wie du ihm geschworen7650 hast.

6 And Pharaoh6547 said,559 Go5927 up, and bury6912 your father,1 according as he made you swear.7650

7 Also zog5927 Joseph3130 hinauf5927, seinen Vater1 zu begraben6912. Und es zogen mit ihm alle Knechte5650 Pharaos6547, die Ältesten2205 seines Hauses1004 und alle Ältesten2205 des Landes776 Ägypten4714,

7 And Joseph3130 went5927 up to bury6912 his father:1 and with him went5927 up all3605 the servants5650 of Pharaoh,6547 the elders2205 of his house,1004 and all3605 the elders2205 of the land776 of Egypt,4714

8 dazu das776 ganze Gesinde1004 Josephs3130 und seine Brüder251 und das Gesinde1004 seines Vaters1. Alleine ihre Kinder2945, Schafe6629 und Ochsen1241 ließen sie5800 im Lande Gosen1657.

8 And all3605 the house1004 of Joseph,3130 and his brothers,251 and his father's1 house:1004 only7535 their little2945 ones, and their flocks,6629 and their herds,1241 they left5800 in the land776 of Goshen.1657

9 Und zogen auch mit ihm hinauf5927 Wagen7393 und Reisige6571, und waren ein fast großes3515 Heer4264.
|
9 And there went5927 up with him both1571 chariots7393 and horsemen:6571 and it was a very3966 great3515 company.4264

10 Da sie5594 nun6213 an die Tenne329 Atad1637 kamen935, die jenseit5676 des Jordans3383 liegt, da hielten sie eine sehr3966 große1419 und bittere3515 Klage60; und er trug über seinen Vater1 Leid4553 sieben7651 Tage3117.

10 And they came935 to the threshing floor1637 of Atad,329 which834 is beyond5676 Jordan,3383 and there8033 they mourned5594 with a great1419 and very3966 sore3515 lamentation:4553 and he made6213 a mourning60 for his father1 seven7651 days.3117

11 Und da die Leute3427 im Lande776, die Kanaaniter3669, die Klage60 bei der Tenne329 Atad1637 sahen7200, sprachen sie7121: Die Ägypter4714 halten da große3515 Klage60. Daher heißt8034 man559 den Ort der Ägypter Klage67, welcher liegt jenseit5676 des Jordans3383.

11 And when the inhabitants3427 of the land,776 the Canaanites,3669 saw7200 the mourning60 in the floor1637 of Atad,329 they said,559 This2088 is a grievous3515 mourning60 to the Egyptians:4714 why5921 3651 the name8034 of it was called7121 Abelmizraim,67 which834 is beyond5676 Jordan.3383

14 Als sie1 ihn nun begraben6912 hatten, zog5927 Joseph3130 wieder7725 nach310 Ägypten4714 mit seinen Brüdern251 und mit allen, die mit ihm hinaufgezogen waren, seinen Vater1 zu begraben6912.

14 And Joseph3130 returned7725 into Egypt,4714 he, and his brothers,251 and all3605 that went5927 up with him to bury6912 his father,1 after310 he had buried6912 his father.1

15 Die Brüder251 Josephs3130 aber fürchteten sich7725, da ihr Vater1 gestorben4191 war, und sprachen559: Joseph3130 möchte3863 uns gram sein7852 und vergelten7725 alle Bosheit7451, die wir an7200 ihm getan haben1580.
|
15 And when Joseph's3130 brothers251 saw7200 that their father1 was dead,4191 they said,559 Joseph3130 will peradventure3863 hate7852 us, and will certainly requite7725 us all3605 the evil7451 which834 we did1580 to him.

16 Darum ließen sie6680 ihm sagen559: Dein Vater1 befahl6680 vor6440 seinem Tode4194 und3130 sprach559:

16 And they sent a messenger6680 to Joseph,3130 saying,559 Your father1 did command6680 before6440 he died,4194 saying,559
|
|
17 Also sollt ihr Joseph3130 sagen559: Lieber, vergib5375 deinen Brüdern251 die Missetat6588 und5650 ihre Sünde2403, daß sie1058 so übel7451 an dir getan haben1580. Lieber, so vergib5375 nun die Missetat6588 uns, den Dienern des Gottes430 deines Vaters1! Aber Joseph3130 weinete, da sie solches mit ihm redeten1696.

17 So3541 shall you say559 to Joseph,3130 Forgive,5375 I pray577 you now,4994 the trespass6588 of your brothers,251 and their sin;2403 for they did1580 to you evil:7451 and now,4994 we pray4994 you, forgive5375 the trespass6588 of the servants5650 of the God430 of your father.1 And Joseph3130 wept1058 when they spoke1696 to him.

18 Und seine Brüder251 gingen3212 hin und fielen vor6440 ihm nieder5307 und sprachen559: Siehe, wir sind deine Knechte5650.

18 And his brothers251 also1571 went3212 and fell5307 down before his face;6440 and they said,559 Behold,2009 we be your servants.5650

19 Joseph3130 sprach559 zu ihnen: Fürchtet euch3372 nicht, denn ich bin unter GOtt430.
|
19 And Joseph3130 said559 to them, Fear3372 not: for am I in the place of God?430
|
|
20 Ihr gedachtet es böse7451 mit mir zu2421 machen6213; aber GOtt430 gedachte2803 es gut2896 zu machen, daß4616 er2803 täte, wie es jetzt am Tage3117 ist, zu erhalten2421 viel7227 Volks5971.
|
20 But as for you, you thought2803 evil7451 against5921 me; but God430 meant2803 it to good,2896 to bring6213 to pass,6213 as it is this2088 day,3117 to save2421 much7227 people5971 alive.2421
|
|
21 So fürchtet euch3372 nun nicht; ich will euch versorgen3557 und eure Kinder2945. Und er tröstete5162 sie und redete1696 freundlich3820 mit ihnen.
|
21 Now6258 therefore fear3372 you not: I will nourish3557 you, and your little2945 ones. And he comforted5162 them, and spoke1696 kindly5921 3820 to them.
|
|
22 Also wohnete Joseph3130 in Ägypten4714 mit seines Vaters1 Hause1004 und3130 lebte2421 hundertundzehn3967 Jahre8141.
|
22 And Joseph3130 dwelled3427 in Egypt,4714 he, and his father's1 house:1004 and Joseph3130 lived2421 an hundred3967 and ten6235 years.8141

23 Und3130 sah7200 Ephraims669 Kinder1121 bis ins dritte8029 Glied. Desselbigengleichen die Kinder1121 Machirs4353, Manasses4519 Sohnes, zeugeten auch Kinder1121 auf Josephs3130 Schoß1290.
|
23 And Joseph3130 saw7200 Ephraim's669 children1121 of the third8029 generation: the children1121 also1571 of Machir4353 the son1121 of Manasseh4519 were brought3205 up on Joseph's3130 knees.1290
|
|
24 Und Joseph3130 sprach559 zu seinen Brüdern251: Ich sterbe4191, und GOtt430 wird6485 euch heimsuchen6485 und aus diesem Lande führen5927 in das776 Land776, das er Abraham85, Isaak3327 und Jakob3290 geschworen7650 hat.

24 And Joseph3130 said559 to his brothers,251 I die:4191 and God430 will surely visit6485 you, and bring5927 you out of this2063 land776 to the land776 which834 he swore7650 to Abraham,85 to Isaac,3327 and to Jacob.3290
|
|
25 Darum nahm er3130 einen6106 Eid7650 von den Kindern1121 Israels3478 und sprach559: Wenn euch GOtt430 heimsuchen6485 wird6485, so führet5927 meine Gebeine von dannen2088.
|
25 And Joseph3130 took an oath7650 of the children1121 of Israel,3478 saying,559 God430 will surely visit6485 you, and you shall carry5927 up my bones6106 from hence.2088
|
|
26 Also starb4191 Joseph3130, da er war hundertundzehn3967 Jahre8141 alt1121. Und sie salbeten ihn und legten3455 ihn in eine Lade727 in Ägypten4714.
|
26 So Joseph3130 died,4191 being an hundred3967 and ten6235 years8141 old:1121 and they embalmed2590 him, and he was put3455 in a coffin727 in Egypt.4714
