2 «Смертный! Оплачь Тир,

3 возвести ему, живущему у врат морских, ведущему обширную торговлю с народами побережья, что говорит о нем Владыка ГОСПОДЬ: „О Тир! Ты говоришь: „Я — корабль величавый!“

4 Пределы твои далеко простираются в море, лучше прежнего украсили тебя зодчие.

5 На борта твои пошли сенирские кипарисы, а на мачту — ливанский кедр.

6 Из дубов башанских сделали тебе весла, палубу — из кипрского самшита и слоновой кости.

7 Разноцветные египетские ткани стали тебе парусами — они же и флагами тебе служили, а из голубого и пурпурного полотна с побережья Элиши сшили тебе полог.

8 Жители Сидона и Арвада служили у тебя гребцами, а кормчими твоими были искусные тирские мореплаватели.

9 Были у тебя опытные мастера из Библа, те, что швы твои конопатили. Стекались к тебе все морские корабли с мореходами, чтобы вести с тобой торговлю.

10 В войске твоем служили персы, лидийцы и ливийцы, свои щиты и шлемы развешивали они на стены твои, придавая тебе величие.

11 Воины Арвада и Хелеха стерегли твои стены, а на башнях стояли дозорные из Гаммада. Развешивали они свои малые щиты по стенам, лучше прежнего украсили тебя.

12 Торговал с тобой Таршиш, ибо богатства было у тебя в изобилии; платил он за твои товары серебром, железом, свинцом и оловом.

13 Греция, Тувал и Мешех торговали с тобою, отдавая за твое добро рабов и медную посуду.

14 Бет-Тогарма платила за твои товары лошадьми, скаковыми конями и мулами.

15 Торговали с тобой люди из Дедана, из многих приморских стран, где ты вел торговлю, — они платили тебе дань слоновой костью и черным деревом.

16 Торговали с тобой арамеи — так много было у тебя всякого добра! — платили они за твои товары бирюзой и пурпуром, разноцветными тканями и льном, кораллами и рубинами.

17 Торговали с тобой Иудея и Израиль, отдавая за твои товары пшеницу из Миннита, сладости, мед, масло оливковое и бальзам.

18 Торговал с тобой Дамаск хелбонским вином и белой шерстью — так много было у тебя всякого добра, несметного богатства!

19 Дан и греки из Уззала платили за твои товары кованым железом, меняли их на кассию и благовонный тростник.

20 Дедан торговал с тобой роскошными попонами для верховой езды.

21 Аравия и князья кедарские приходили к тебе торговать, предлагая в обмен овец, баранов и козлов.

22 Торговали с тобой купцы из Шевы и Раамы, платили за твои товары отборными благовониями, разными драгоценными камнями и золотом.

23 И Харан, и Канне, и Эден, и купцы из Шевы, Ассирии и Килмада торговали с тобой.

24 Они привозили на твои рынки роскошные одежды, голубые и разноцветные ткани, двуцветные ковры, скрученные и надежно перевязанные.

25 Корабли из Таршиша развозили повсюду твои товары. Переполнены и загружены были хранилища твои посреди морей.

26 И вот гребцы твои вывели тебя в открытое море, но вихрь с востока погубит тебя посреди морей.

27 Твое богатство, твои товары, твои грузы, твои корабельщики и кормчие, те, кто твои конопатил швы и кто торговал твоим товаром, и все воины, а с ними и всё полчище находящихся с тобой — все сгинут посреди морей в день твоего падения!

28 От вопля твоих кормчих содрогнутся окрестности городов,

29 сойдут на сушу со своих кораблей все гребцы, морские корабельщики и кормчие

30 и во весь голос о тебе зарыдают, посыпая прахом головы, заплачут горько, бросившись наземь.

31 В знак траура обреются они наголо, в рубище облачатся и от глубокой скорби зарыдают о тебе горьким плачем.

32 В неутешном горе они сложат о тебе погребальный плач: „Кто подобен Тиру, уничтоженному среди моря?

33 Когда с морей прибывали твои товары, насыщал ты многие народы. Великое твое богатство, твоя торговля обогащали земных царей.

34 А теперь ты в глубине вод, штормом разбит, товары твои и полчище твое вместе с тобой утонули!“

35 Ужаснулись твоей участи все жители побережий, содрогнулись цари, страх исказил их лица.

36 Иноземные торговцы заохают, заслышав о тебе: страшна твоя участь, ты сгинул навеки!“»

33 Когда с морей прибывали твои товары, насыщал ты многие народы. Великое твое богатство, твоя торговля обогащали земных царей.

34 А теперь ты в глубине вод, штормом разбит, товары твои и полчище твое вместе с тобой утонули!“
