1 And he said3004 to them, Truly281 I say3004 to you, That there be some5100 of them that stand2476 here,5602 which3748 shall not taste1089 of death,2288 till2193 they have seen1492 the kingdom932 of God2316 come2064 with power.1411

2 And after3326 six1803 days2250 Jesus2424 takes3880 with him Peter,4074 and James,2385 and John,2491 and leads399 them up into1519 an high5308 mountain3735 apart2596 2398 by themselves:3441 and he was transfigured3339 before1715 them.

3 And his raiment2440 became1096 shining,4744 exceeding3029 white3022 as snow;5510 so3634 as no3756 fuller1102 on1909 earth1093 can1410 white3021 them.

4 And there appeared3700 to them Elias2243 with Moses:3475 and they were talking4814 with Jesus.2424

5 And Peter4074 answered611 and said3004 to Jesus,2424 Master,4461 it is good2570 for us to be here:5602 and let us make4160 three5140 tabernacles;4633 one3391 for you, and one for Moses,3475 and one for Elias.2243

6 For he knew1492 not what5101 to say;2980 for they were sore1630 afraid.1630

7 And there was a cloud3507 that overshadowed1982 them: and a voice5456 came2064 out of the cloud,3507 saying,3004 This3778 is my beloved27 Son:5207 hear191 him.

8 And suddenly,1819 when they had looked4017 round4017 about,4017 they saw1492 no3762 man3762 any3765 more,3765 save235 Jesus2424 only3441 with themselves.1438

9 And as they came2597 down2597 from the mountain,3735 he charged1291 them that they should tell1334 no3367 man3367 what3739 things they had seen,1492 till1508 3752 the Son5207 of man444 were risen450 from the dead.3498

10 And they kept2902 that saying3056 with themselves,1438 questioning4802 one with another1438 what5101 the rising305 from the dead3498 should mean.2076

11 And they asked1905 him, saying,3004 Why3754 say3004 the scribes1122 that Elias2243 must1163 first4412 come?2064

12 And he answered611 and told2036 them, Elias2243 truly3303 comes2064 first,4412 and restores600 all3956 things; and how4459 it is written1125 of the Son5207 of man,444 that he must suffer3958 many4183 things, and be set1847 at1847 nothing.1847

13 But I say3004 to you, That Elias2243 is indeed2532 come,2064 and they have done4160 to him whatever3745 they listed,2309 as it is written1125 of him.

14 And when he came2064 to his disciples,3101 he saw1492 a great4183 multitude3793 about4012 them, and the scribes1122 questioning4802 with them.

15 And straightway2112 all3956 the people,3793 when they beheld1492 him, were greatly1568 amazed,1568 and running4370 to him saluted782 him.

16 And he asked1905 the scribes,1122 What5101 question4802 you with them?

17 And one1520 of the multitude3793 answered611 and said,2036 Master,1320 I have brought5342 to you my son,5207 which has2192 a dumb216 spirit;4151

18 And wherever3699 302 he takes2638 him, he tears4486 him: and he foams,875 and gnashes5149 with his teeth,3599 and pines3583 away: and I spoke2036 to your disciples3101 that they should cast1544 him out; and they could2480 not.

19 He answers611 him, and said,3004 O faithless571 generation,1074 how2193 long2193 shall I be with you? how2193 long2193 shall I suffer430 you? bring5342 him to me.

20 And they brought5342 him to him: and when he saw1492 him, straightway2112 the spirit4151 tare4682 him; and he fell4098 on1909 the ground,1093 and wallowed2947 foaming.875

21 And he asked1905 his father,3962 How4214 long4214 is it ago since5613 this5124 came1096 to him? And he said,2036 Of a child.3812

22 And often4178 it has cast906 him into1519 the fire,4442 and into1519 the waters,5204 to destroy622 him: but if you can1410 do any1536 thing, have compassion4697 on1909 us, and help997 us.

23 Jesus2424 said2036 to him, If1487 you can1410 believe,4100 all3956 things are possible1415 to him that believes.4100

24 And straightway2112 the father3962 of the child3813 cried2896 out, and said3004 with tears,1144 Lord,2962 I believe;4100 help997 you my3450 unbelief.570

25 When Jesus2424 saw1492 that the people3793 came1998 running1998 together,1998 he rebuked2008 the foul169 spirit,4151 saying3004 to him, You dumb216 and deaf2974 spirit,4151 I charge2004 you, come1831 out of him, and enter1525 no3371 more3371 into1519 him.

26 And the spirit cried,2896 and rent4682 him sore,4183 and came1831 out of him: and he was as one dead;3498 so5620 that many4183 said,3004 He is dead.599

27 But Jesus2424 took2902 him by the hand,5495 and lifted1453 him up; and he arose.450

28 And when he was come1525 into1519 the house,3624 his disciples3101 asked1905 him privately,2596 2398 Why3754 could1410 not we cast1544 him out?

29 And he said2036 to them, This5124 kind1085 can1410 come1831 forth1831 by nothing,3762 but by prayer4335 and fasting.3521

30 And they departed1831 there,1564 and passed3899 through1223 Galilee;1056 and he would2309 not that any5100 man should know1097 it.

31 For he taught2258 1321 his disciples,3101 and said3004 to them, The Son5207 of man444 is delivered3860 into1519 the hands5495 of men,444 and they shall kill615 him; and after that he is killed,615 he shall rise450 the third5154 day.2250

32 But they understood50 not that saying,4487 and were afraid5399 to ask1905 him.

33 And he came2064 to Capernaum:2584 and being1096 in the house3614 he asked1905 them, What5101 was it that you disputed1260 among4314 yourselves1438 by the way?3598

34 But they held4623 their peace:4623 for by the way3598 they had disputed1256 among4314 themselves,240 who5101 should be the greatest.3187

35 And he sat2523 down,2523 and called5455 the twelve,1427 and said3004 to them, If1487 any1536 man desire2309 to be first,4413 the same shall be last2078 of all,3956 and servant1249 of all.3956

36 And he took2983 a child,3813 and set2476 him in the middle3319 of them: and when he had taken1723 him in his arms,1723 he said2036 to them,

37 Whoever3739 1437 shall receive1209 one1520 of such5108 children3813 in my name,3686 receives1209 me: and whoever3739 1437 shall receive1209 me, receives1209 not me, but him that sent649 me.

38 And John2491 answered611 him, saying,3004 Master,1320 we saw1492 one5100 casting1544 out devils1140 in your name,3686 and he follows190 not us: and we forbade2967 him, because3754 he follows190 not us.

39 But Jesus2424 said,2036 Forbid2967 him not: for there is no3762 man3762 which3739 shall do4160 a miracle1411 in my name,3686 that can1410 lightly5035 speak2551 evil2551 of me.

40 For he that is not against2596 us is on5228 our part.

41 For whoever3739 302 shall give4222 you a cup4221 of water5204 to drink4222 in my name,3686 because3754 you belong1510 to Christ,5547 truly281 I say3004 to you, he shall not lose622 his reward.3408

42 And whoever3739 302 shall offend4624 one1520 of these3588 little3398 ones that believe4100 in me, it is better2570 3123 for him that a millstone3037 3457 were hanged4029 about4012 his neck,5137 and he were cast906 into1519 the sea.2281

43 And if1437 your hand5495 offend4624 you, cut609 it off:609 it is better2570 for you to enter1525 into1519 life2222 maimed,2948 than2228 having2192 two1417 hands5495 to go565 into1519 hell,1067 into1519 the fire4442 that never3756 shall be quenched:762

44 Where3699 their worm4663 dies5053 not, and the fire4442 is not quenched.4570

45 And if1437 your foot4228 offend4624 you, cut609 it off:609 it is better2570 for you to enter1525 halt5560 into1519 life,2222 than2228 having2192 two1417 feet4228 to be cast906 into1519 hell,1067 into1519 the fire4442 that never3756 shall be quenched:762

46 Where3699 their worm4663 dies5053 not, and the fire4442 is not quenched.4570

47 And if1437 your4675 eye3788 offend4624 you, pluck1544 it out: it is better2570 for you to enter1525 into1519 the kingdom932 of God2316 with one3442 eye,3442 than2228 having2192 two1417 eyes3788 to be cast906 into1519 hell1067 fire:4442

48 Where3699 their worm4663 dies5053 not, and the fire4442 is not quenched.4570

49 For every3956 one shall be salted233 with fire,4442 and every3956 sacrifice2378 shall be salted233 with salt.251

50 Salt217 is good:2570 but if1437 the salt217 have lost358 1096 his saltiness,1096 358 with which1722 5101 will you season741 it? Have2192 salt217 in yourselves,1438 and have peace1518 one240 with another.240

2 Шесть дней спустя Иисус взял Петра, Иакова и Иоанна и повёл их одних на высокую гору. И преобразился Он перед ними.

3 Его одеяние стало таким ослепительно белым, что никакая прачка на земле не могла бы так отбелить.

4 Тут явились Илия и Моисей и стали беседовать с Иисусом.

5 Пётр заговорил, обращаясь к Иисусу: «Учитель! Хорошо, что мы здесь, давай поставим три шатра: один для Тебя, один для Моисея и один для Илии».

6 Пётр не знал, что сказать, так как он и двое других учеников были сильно перепуганы.

7 Тогда явилось облако и накрыло их своей тенью, а из облака раздался голос: «Это Сын мой возлюбленный. Повинуйтесь Ему!»

8 И тут же, посмотрев вокруг, они больше никого рядом с собой не увидели, кроме Иисуса.

9 Когда они спускались с горы, Он велел им никому не рассказывать о том, что они видели, пока Сын Человеческий не воскреснет из мёртвых.

10 Ученики сохранили это событие в тайне, но между собой обсуждали, что значит «воскреснуть из мёртвых».

11 Они спросили Иисуса: «Почему законоучители говорят, что сначала должен прийти Илия?»

12 Иисус им ответил: «Да, сначала действительно должен прийти Илия, чтобы привести всё в порядок. Но почему в Писаниях сказано о Сыне Человеческом, что Он многое должен выстрадать и быть отвергнут с презрением?

13 Я должен вам сказать, что Илия уже приходил, но они жестоко с ним обошлись, сделав с ним всё, что они хотели. Так и было сказано о нём в Писаниях».

14 Когда они вернулись к остальным ученикам, то увидели вокруг них большую толпу и законоучителей, спорящих с ними.

15 Тотчас же, увидев Иисуса, весь народ изумился и побежал, чтобы приветствовать Его.

16 Иисус спросил их: «О чём вы с ними спорите?»

17 Человек из толпы ответил Ему: «Учитель! Я привёл к Тебе моего сына. Он одержим духом, который делает его неспособным говорить.

18 Когда этот дух набрасывается на моего сына и кидает его на землю, на губах у него появляется пена, он скрежещет зубами и впадает в оцепенение. Я просил Твоих учеников изгнать духа, но они не смогли».

19 Тогда Иисус обратился к ним с такими словами: «Неверное поколение! Как долго Я должен быть с вами? Как долго Я должен терпеть вас? Приведите его ко Мне».

20 Мальчика привели к Нему. Когда дух увидел Иисуса, то сразу же поверг ребёнка в приступ эпилепсии, и тот, упав на землю, бился в судорогах и испускал пену изо рта.

21 Тогда Иисус спросил его отца: «Как давно это с ним?» Тот ответил: «С детства.

22 Много раз дух бросал его в огонь и в воду, чтобы погубить. Но, если Ты сможешь что-нибудь сделать, сжалься над нами и помоги нам».

23 Иисус ответил ему: «Почему спрашиваешь Меня: „Если сможешь? Всё возможно для того, кто верует”».

24 Отец мальчика сразу вскрикнул и сказал: «Воистину я верую! Помоги мне, чтобы вера моя ещё более укрепилась!»

25 Когда Иисус увидел, что к ним приближается толпа народа, Он сказал нечистому духу: «Я повелеваю тебе, дух, который делает мальчика глухим и мешает ему говорить: выйди и никогда больше не входи в него!»

26 Тогда дух, вскрикнув и повергнув мальчика в сильные судороги, вышел из него. Мальчик лежал как мёртвый, так что большинство людей подумало: «Он умер».

27 Но Иисус взял его за руку и помог ему подняться.

28 После того как Иисус вошёл в дом, ученики спросили Его наедине: «Почему мы не смогли изгнать духа?»

29 Иисус ответил им: «Этот дух не может быть изгнан иначе как молитвой [и постом] ».

30 Выйдя оттуда, Иисус и Его ученики пошли через Галилею. Иисус не хотел, чтобы кто-либо знал об этом,

31 потому что Он хотел быть наедине со Своими учениками и учить их. Иисус говорил им: «Сын Человеческий будет отдан в руки людей, которые убьют Его, но через три дня Он воскреснет».

32 Но они не поняли эти слова, а спросить побоялись.

33 Иисус и Его ученики пришли в Капернаум. Когда они зашли в дом, Он спросил их: «О чём вы рассуждали дорогой?»

34 Но они молчали, потому что по дороге обсуждали между собой, кто из них превосходит всех в величии.

35 Тогда Иисус сел и, призвав двенадцать апостолов, сказал им: «Если кто-нибудь хочет быть первым, то он должен быть последним из всех и слугой всем».

36 Взяв ребёнка, Он поставил его перед ними и, обняв, обратился к ученикам:

37 «Кто принимает одного из этих маленьких детей во имя Моё, тот принимает Меня. И кто принимает Меня, тот принимает и Пославшего Меня».

38 Иоанн сказал Иисусу: «Учитель! Мы видели человека, изгоняющего бесов Твоим именем, и попытались остановить его, потому что он не один из нас».

39 Но Иисус ответил: «Не останавливайте его, потому что никто, творящий чудо Моим именем, в ближайшее время не сможет говорить обо Мне плохо.

40 Так как кто не против нас, тот за нас.

41 Итак, кто даст вам напиться воды, потому что вы — ученики Христа, тот, правду вам говорю, обязательно получит свою награду».

42 «Тому же, кто побудит кого из этих малых, верящих в Меня, согрешить, лучше было бы, если бы ему повесили на шею жёрнов и утопили в море.

43 И если рука твоя побуждает тебя согрешить, то отсеки её. Лучше тебе войти в жизнь увечным, чем иметь две руки и отправиться в ад, в огонь неугасимый,

44 [где червь неумолимо точит их и огонь никогда не угасает].

45 И если твоя нога побуждает тебя согрешить, отсеки её. Лучше тебе войти в жизнь хромым, чем иметь две ноги и быть ввергнутым в ад,

46 [где червь неумолимо точит их и огонь никогда не угасает].

47 И если твой глаз побуждает тебя согрешить, вырви его. Лучше тебе войти в Царство Божье с одним глазом, чем иметь два глаза и быть ввергнутым в ад,

48 где червь неумолимо точит их и огонь никогда не угасает.

49 Каждый из них будет просолен огнём [и каждая жертва будет посолена солью].

50 Соль хороша, но, если она становится безвкусной, кто же её снова сделает солёной? Имейте в себе соль и живите в мире между собой».

29 Иисус ответил им: «Этот дух не может быть изгнан иначе как молитвой [и постом] ».

30 And they departed1831 there,1564 and passed3899 through1223 Galilee;1056 and he would2309 not that any5100 man should know1097 it.

30 Выйдя оттуда, Иисус и Его ученики пошли через Галилею. Иисус не хотел, чтобы кто-либо знал об этом,

31 For he taught2258 1321 his disciples,3101 and said3004 to them, The Son5207 of man444 is delivered3860 into1519 the hands5495 of men,444 and they shall kill615 him; and after that he is killed,615 he shall rise450 the third5154 day.2250

31 потому что Он хотел быть наедине со Своими учениками и учить их. Иисус говорил им: «Сын Человеческий будет отдан в руки людей, которые убьют Его, но через три дня Он воскреснет».

32 But they understood50 not that saying,4487 and were afraid5399 to ask1905 him.

32 Но они не поняли эти слова, а спросить побоялись.

33 And he came2064 to Capernaum:2584 and being1096 in the house3614 he asked1905 them, What5101 was it that you disputed1260 among4314 yourselves1438 by the way?3598

33 Иисус и Его ученики пришли в Капернаум. Когда они зашли в дом, Он спросил их: «О чём вы рассуждали дорогой?»

34 But they held4623 their peace:4623 for by the way3598 they had disputed1256 among4314 themselves,240 who5101 should be the greatest.3187

34 Но они молчали, потому что по дороге обсуждали между собой, кто из них превосходит всех в величии.

35 And he sat2523 down,2523 and called5455 the twelve,1427 and said3004 to them, If1487 any1536 man desire2309 to be first,4413 the same shall be last2078 of all,3956 and servant1249 of all.3956

35 Тогда Иисус сел и, призвав двенадцать апостолов, сказал им: «Если кто-нибудь хочет быть первым, то он должен быть последним из всех и слугой всем».

36 And he took2983 a child,3813 and set2476 him in the middle3319 of them: and when he had taken1723 him in his arms,1723 he said2036 to them,

36 Взяв ребёнка, Он поставил его перед ними и, обняв, обратился к ученикам:

37 Whoever3739 1437 shall receive1209 one1520 of such5108 children3813 in my name,3686 receives1209 me: and whoever3739 1437 shall receive1209 me, receives1209 not me, but him that sent649 me.

37 «Кто принимает одного из этих маленьких детей во имя Моё, тот принимает Меня. И кто принимает Меня, тот принимает и Пославшего Меня».

38 And John2491 answered611 him, saying,3004 Master,1320 we saw1492 one5100 casting1544 out devils1140 in your name,3686 and he follows190 not us: and we forbade2967 him, because3754 he follows190 not us.

38 Иоанн сказал Иисусу: «Учитель! Мы видели человека, изгоняющего бесов Твоим именем, и попытались остановить его, потому что он не один из нас».

39 But Jesus2424 said,2036 Forbid2967 him not: for there is no3762 man3762 which3739 shall do4160 a miracle1411 in my name,3686 that can1410 lightly5035 speak2551 evil2551 of me.

39 Но Иисус ответил: «Не останавливайте его, потому что никто, творящий чудо Моим именем, в ближайшее время не сможет говорить обо Мне плохо.

40 For he that is not against2596 us is on5228 our part.

40 Так как кто не против нас, тот за нас.

41 For whoever3739 302 shall give4222 you a cup4221 of water5204 to drink4222 in my name,3686 because3754 you belong1510 to Christ,5547 truly281 I say3004 to you, he shall not lose622 his reward.3408

41 Итак, кто даст вам напиться воды, потому что вы — ученики Христа, тот, правду вам говорю, обязательно получит свою награду».

42 And whoever3739 302 shall offend4624 one1520 of these3588 little3398 ones that believe4100 in me, it is better2570 3123 for him that a millstone3037 3457 were hanged4029 about4012 his neck,5137 and he were cast906 into1519 the sea.2281

42 «Тому же, кто побудит кого из этих малых, верящих в Меня, согрешить, лучше было бы, если бы ему повесили на шею жёрнов и утопили в море.

43 And if1437 your hand5495 offend4624 you, cut609 it off:609 it is better2570 for you to enter1525 into1519 life2222 maimed,2948 than2228 having2192 two1417 hands5495 to go565 into1519 hell,1067 into1519 the fire4442 that never3756 shall be quenched:762

43 И если рука твоя побуждает тебя согрешить, то отсеки её. Лучше тебе войти в жизнь увечным, чем иметь две руки и отправиться в ад, в огонь неугасимый,

44 Where3699 their worm4663 dies5053 not, and the fire4442 is not quenched.4570

44 [где червь неумолимо точит их и огонь никогда не угасает].

45 And if1437 your foot4228 offend4624 you, cut609 it off:609 it is better2570 for you to enter1525 halt5560 into1519 life,2222 than2228 having2192 two1417 feet4228 to be cast906 into1519 hell,1067 into1519 the fire4442 that never3756 shall be quenched:762

45 И если твоя нога побуждает тебя согрешить, отсеки её. Лучше тебе войти в жизнь хромым, чем иметь две ноги и быть ввергнутым в ад,

46 Where3699 their worm4663 dies5053 not, and the fire4442 is not quenched.4570

46 [где червь неумолимо точит их и огонь никогда не угасает].

47 And if1437 your4675 eye3788 offend4624 you, pluck1544 it out: it is better2570 for you to enter1525 into1519 the kingdom932 of God2316 with one3442 eye,3442 than2228 having2192 two1417 eyes3788 to be cast906 into1519 hell1067 fire:4442

47 И если твой глаз побуждает тебя согрешить, вырви его. Лучше тебе войти в Царство Божье с одним глазом, чем иметь два глаза и быть ввергнутым в ад,

48 Where3699 their worm4663 dies5053 not, and the fire4442 is not quenched.4570

48 где червь неумолимо точит их и огонь никогда не угасает.

49 For every3956 one shall be salted233 with fire,4442 and every3956 sacrifice2378 shall be salted233 with salt.251

49 Каждый из них будет просолен огнём [и каждая жертва будет посолена солью].

50 Salt217 is good:2570 but if1437 the salt217 have lost358 1096 his saltiness,1096 358 with which1722 5101 will you season741 it? Have2192 salt217 in yourselves,1438 and have peace1518 one240 with another.240

50 Соль хороша, но, если она становится безвкусной, кто же её снова сделает солёной? Имейте в себе соль и живите в мире между собой».
