3 And they gathered themselves together6950 against5921 Moses4872 and against5921 Aaron,175 and said559 unto413 them, Ye take too much7227 upon you, seeing3588 all3605 the congregation5712 are holy,6918 every one3605 of them, and the LORD3068 is among8432 them: wherefore4069 then lift ye up yourselves5375 above5921 the congregation6951 of the LORD?3068

9 Seemeth it but a small thing4592 unto4480 you, that3588 the God430 of Israel3478 hath separated914 you from the congregation4480 5712 of Israel,3478 to bring you near7126 853 to413 himself to do5647 853 the service5656 of the tabernacle4908 of the LORD,3068 and to stand5975 before6440 the congregation5712 to minister8334 unto them?

10 And he hath brought thee near7126 853 to him, and all3605 thy brethren251 the sons1121 of Levi3878 with854 thee: and seek1245 ye the priesthood3550 also?1571

11 For which cause3651 both thou859 and all3605 thy company5712 are gathered together3259 against5921 the LORD:3068 and what4100 is Aaron,175 that3588 ye murmur3885 against5921 him?

12 And Moses4872 sent7971 to call7121 Dathan1885 and Abiram,48 the sons1121 of Eliab:446 which said,559 We will not3808 come up: 5927

13 Is it a small thing4592 that3588 thou hast brought us up5927 out of a land4480 776 that floweth2100 with milk2461 and honey,1706 to kill4191 us in the wilderness,4057 except3588 thou make thyself altogether a prince8323 8323 1571 over5921 us?

14 Moreover637 thou hast not3808 brought935 us into413 a land776 that floweth2100 with milk2461 and honey,1706 or given5414 us inheritance5159 of fields7704 and vineyards:3754 wilt thou put out5365 the eyes5869 of these1992 men?376 we will not3808 come up.5927

15 And Moses4872 was very wroth,2734 3966 and said559 unto413 the LORD,3068 Respect6437 413 not408 thou their offering:4503 I have not3808 taken5375 one259 ass2543 from4480 them, neither3808 have I hurt7489 853 one259 of4480 them.

16 And Moses4872 said559 unto413 Korah,7141 Be1961 thou859 and all3605 thy company5712 before6440 the LORD,3068 thou,859 and they,1992 and Aaron,175 tomorrow: 4279

17 And take3947 every man376 his censer,4289 and put5414 incense7004 in5921 them, and bring7126 ye before6440 the LORD3068 every man376 his censer,4289 two hundred3967 and fifty2572 censers;4289 thou859 also, and Aaron,175 each376 of you his censer.4289

18 And they took3947 every man376 his censer,4289 and put5414 fire784 in413 them, and laid7760 incense7004 thereon,413 and stood5975 in the door6607 of the tabernacle168 of the congregation4150 with Moses4872 and Aaron.175

19 And Korah7141 gathered6950 853 all3605 the congregation5712 against5921 them unto413 the door6607 of the tabernacle168 of the congregation:4150 and the glory3519 of the LORD3068 appeared7200 unto413 all3605 the congregation.5712

20 And the LORD3068 spoke1696 unto413 Moses4872 and unto413 Aaron,175 saying,559

21 Separate yourselves914 from among4480 8432 this2063 congregation,5712 that I may consume3615 them in a moment.7281

22 And they fell5307 upon5921 their faces,6440 and said,559 O God,410 the God430 of the spirits7307 of all3605 flesh,1320 shall one259 man376 sin,2398 and wilt thou be wroth7107 with5921 all3605 the congregation?5712

23 And the LORD3068 spoke1696 unto413 Moses,4872 saying,559

24 Speak1696 unto413 the congregation,5712 saying,559 Get you up5927 from about4480 5439 the tabernacle4908 of Korah,7141 Dathan,1885 and Abiram.48

25 And Moses4872 rose up6965 and went1980 unto413 Dathan1885 and Abiram;48 and the elders2205 of Israel3478 followed1980 310 him.

26 And he spoke1696 unto413 the congregation,5712 saying,559 Depart,5493 I pray you,4994 from4480 5921 the tents168 of these428 wicked7563 men,376 and touch5060 nothing408 3605 of theirs, lest6435 ye be consumed5595 in all3605 their sins.2403

27 So they got up5927 from4480 5921 the tabernacle4908 of Korah,7141 Dathan,1885 and Abiram,48 on every side:4480 5439 and Dathan1885 and Abiram48 came out,3318 and stood5324 in the door6607 of their tents,168 and their wives,802 and their sons,1121 and their little children.2945

28 And Moses4872 said,559 Hereby2063 ye shall know3045 that3588 the LORD3068 hath sent7971 me to do6213 853 all3605 these428 works;4639 for3588 I have not3808 done them of mine own mind.4480 3820

29 If518 these428 men die4191 the common death4194 of all3605 men,120 or if they be visited6485 after5921 the visitation6486 of all3605 men;120 then the LORD3068 hath not3808 sent7971 me.

30 But if518 the LORD3068 make1254 a new thing,1278 and the earth127 open6475 853 her mouth,6310 and swallow them up,1104 853 with all3605 that834 appertain unto them, and they go down3381 quick2416 into the pit;7585 then ye shall understand3045 that3588 these428 men376 have provoked5006 853 the LORD.3068

31 And it came to pass,1961 as he had made an end3615 of speaking1696 853 all3605 these428 words,1697 that the ground127 cleaved asunder1234 that834 was under8478 them:

32 And the earth776 opened6605 853 her mouth,6310 and swallowed them up,1104 853 and their houses,1004 and all3605 the men120 that834 appertained unto Korah,7141 and all3605 their goods.7399

33 They,1992 and all3605 that834 appertained to them, went down3381 alive2416 into the pit,7585 and the earth776 closed3680 upon5921 them: and they perished6 from among4480 8432 the congregation.6951

34 And all3605 Israel3478 that834 were round about5439 them fled5127 at the cry6963 of them: for3588 they said,559 Lest6435 the earth776 swallow us up1104 also.

35 And there came out3318 a fire784 from4480 854 the LORD,3068 and consumed398 the853 two hundred3967 and fifty2572 men376 that offered7126 incense.7004

36 And the LORD3068 spoke1696 unto413 Moses,4872 saying,559

37 Speak559 unto413 Eleazar499 the son1121 of Aaron175 the priest,3548 that he take up7311 853 the censers4289 out of4480 996 the burning,8316 and scatter2219 thou the fire784 yonder;1973 for3588 they are hallowed.6942

38 853 The censers4289 of these428 sinners2400 against their own souls,5315 let them make6213 853 them broad7555 plates6341 for a covering6826 of the altar:4196 for3588 they offered7126 them before6440 the LORD,3068 therefore they are hallowed:6942 and they shall be1961 a sign226 unto the children1121 of Israel.3478

39 And Eleazar499 the priest3548 took3947 853 the brazen5178 censers,4289 wherewith834 they that were burnt8313 had offered;7126 and they were made broad7554 plates for a covering6826 of the altar: 4196

40 To be a memorial2146 unto the children1121 of Israel,3478 that4616 834 no3808 stranger,376 2114 which1931 is not3808 of the seed4480 2233 of Aaron,175 come near7126 to offer6999 incense7004 before6440 the LORD;3068 that he be1961 not3808 as Korah,7141 and as his company:5712 as834 the LORD3068 said1696 to him by the hand3027 of Moses.4872

41 But on the morrow4480 4283 all3605 the congregation5712 of the children1121 of Israel3478 murmured3885 against5921 Moses4872 and against5921 Aaron,175 saying,559 Ye859 have killed4191 853 the people5971 of the LORD.3068

42 And it came to pass,1961 when the congregation5712 was gathered6950 against5921 Moses4872 and against5921 Aaron,175 that they looked6437 toward413 the tabernacle168 of the congregation:4150 and, behold,2009 the cloud6051 covered3680 it, and the glory3519 of the LORD3068 appeared.7200

43 And Moses4872 and Aaron175 came935 before413 6440 the tabernacle168 of the congregation.4150

44 And the LORD3068 spoke1696 unto413 Moses,4872 saying,559

45 Get you up7426 from among4480 8432 this2063 congregation,5712 that I may consume3615 them as in a moment.7281 And they fell5307 upon5921 their faces.6440

46 And Moses4872 said559 unto413 Aaron,175 Take3947 853 a censer,4289 and put5414 fire784 therein5921 from off4480 5921 the altar,4196 and put on7760 incense,7004 and go1980 quickly4120 unto413 the congregation,5712 and make an atonement3722 for5921 them: for3588 there is wrath7110 gone out3318 from4480 6440 the LORD;3068 the plague5063 is begun.2490

47 And Aaron175 took3947 as834 Moses4872 commanded,1696 and ran7323 into413 the midst8432 of the congregation;6951 and, behold,2009 the plague5063 was begun2490 among the people:5971 and he put on5414 853 incense,7004 and made an atonement3722 for5921 the people.5971

48 And he stood5975 between996 the dead4191 and the living;2416 and the plague4046 was stayed.6113

49 Now they that died4191 in the plague4046 were1961 fourteen702 6240 thousand505 and seven7651 hundred,3967 beside4480 905 them that died4191 about5921 the matter1697 of Korah.7141

50 And Aaron175 returned7725 unto413 Moses4872 unto413 the door6607 of the tabernacle168 of the congregation:4150 and the plague4046 was stayed.6113

8 又曰、汝利未族宜聽我言、

9 以色列族之上帝、區別爾曹、離以色列族、使進於前、服役於耶和華會幕、立會衆前、以爲供役、其事豈微細哉。

10 耶和華使爾利未族、進於其前、爾猶以爲不足、乃更欲爲祭司乎。

11 爲此、爾黨集攻耶和華、亞倫何人斯、爾曹奚爲怨之。

12 摩西召以利押子二子、大單亞比蘭對曰、我不欲至、

13 爾自產乳與蜜之地、導我使出、殺於曠野、其事豈微細哉、尚欲自立爲君、以治我乎。

14 爾未導我至產乳與蜜之地、未嘗賜我田園、豈欲抉斯衆之目乎、我不欲應爾召。

15 摩西怒甚、龥耶和華曰、勿眷顧其禮物、我未取其一驢、未害其一人。

16 乃謂哥喇曰、爾與爾衆、至於詰朝、可偕亞倫、至耶和華前、

17 二百五十人各執鼎、炷香於中、爾及亞倫亦各執鼎、至耶和華前。

18 遂各執鼎、燃火炷香、與摩西亞倫立於會幕前。

19 哥喇集會衆而至、欲攻擊之、忽耶和華之榮光顯現、會衆目擊。

20 耶和華諭摩西亞倫曰、

21 爾當區別、離此會眾、俟我速滅之。

22 二人乃俯伏曰、上帝乎、爾以生氣賜於億兆、曷以一人獲罪、而怒及會衆。

23 耶和華諭摩西曰、

24 爾告會衆、必遠離哥喇大單亞比蘭之幕。

25 摩西往見大單亞比蘭、以色列族長老隨其後、

26 謂會衆曰、離此惡黨之幕、勿捫其物、恐同陷於罪、與之偕亡。

27 衆離哥喇大單亞比蘭之幕、大單亞比蘭挈其妻孥以出、立於幕門。

28 摩西曰、耶和華遣我行此、我弗擅行、有明徵焉。

29 倘彼得終天年、與衆無異、則知耶和華未嘗遣我、

30 倘耶和華行事維新、使地口翕張、吞噬其衆、生墮坎阱、則其人之欺悔耶和華、由此可見矣。

31 言竟、土壤盡裂。

32 地口翕張、吞噬哥喇徒黨、與其眷聚什物、

33 曁凡所有、俱生陷於坎阱、爲地所覆、絕於會中、

34 以色列族、在於四周、聞聲而遁、曰、恐我儕亦爲地所吞。

35 耶和華使火出、燬其焚香者、二百五十人。〇

36 耶和華諭摩西曰、

37 告祭司亞倫子以利亞撒云、必取鼎於火中、傾其爇炭、蓋鼎已成聖、

38 人雖犯法、自殞厥命、然其鼎嘗奉於我、故得成聖、當取其銅、擣之使薄、以飾祭壇、為以色列族、垂戒於後。

39 奉火見燬之人、悉有銅鼎、祭司以利亞撒取焉、擣之使薄、以飾祭壇。

40 爲以色列族記誌、他人非亞倫之子孫則不得前、焚香以奉耶和華、恐遭厥害、若哥喇及其黨然、遵耶和華所諭摩西之命。〇

41 詰旦、以色列會衆怨摩西亞倫曰、耶和華之民、嘗為爾曹所戮、

42 會衆咸集、攻擊摩西亞倫、、瞻望會幕、有雲蓋之、耶和華之榮光顯現。

17 二百五十人各執鼎、炷香於中、爾及亞倫亦各執鼎、至耶和華前。

18 And they took3947 every man376 his censer,4289 and put5414 fire784 in413 them, and laid7760 incense7004 thereon,413 and stood5975 in the door6607 of the tabernacle168 of the congregation4150 with Moses4872 and Aaron.175

19 哥喇集會衆而至、欲攻擊之、忽耶和華之榮光顯現、會衆目擊。

20 And the LORD3068 spoke1696 unto413 Moses4872 and unto413 Aaron,175 saying,559

28 摩西曰、耶和華遣我行此、我弗擅行、有明徵焉。

29 If518 these428 men die4191 the common death4194 of all3605 men,120 or if they be visited6485 after5921 the visitation6486 of all3605 men;120 then the LORD3068 hath not3808 sent7971 me.

29 倘彼得終天年、與衆無異、則知耶和華未嘗遣我、

30 But if518 the LORD3068 make1254 a new thing,1278 and the earth127 open6475 853 her mouth,6310 and swallow them up,1104 853 with all3605 that834 appertain unto them, and they go down3381 quick2416 into the pit;7585 then ye shall understand3045 that3588 these428 men376 have provoked5006 853 the LORD.3068

30 倘耶和華行事維新、使地口翕張、吞噬其衆、生墮坎阱、則其人之欺悔耶和華、由此可見矣。

31 And it came to pass,1961 as he had made an end3615 of speaking1696 853 all3605 these428 words,1697 that the ground127 cleaved asunder1234 that834 was under8478 them:

31 言竟、土壤盡裂。

32 And the earth776 opened6605 853 her mouth,6310 and swallowed them up,1104 853 and their houses,1004 and all3605 the men120 that834 appertained unto Korah,7141 and all3605 their goods.7399

32 地口翕張、吞噬哥喇徒黨、與其眷聚什物、

33 They,1992 and all3605 that834 appertained to them, went down3381 alive2416 into the pit,7585 and the earth776 closed3680 upon5921 them: and they perished6 from among4480 8432 the congregation.6951

33 曁凡所有、俱生陷於坎阱、爲地所覆、絕於會中、

34 And all3605 Israel3478 that834 were round about5439 them fled5127 at the cry6963 of them: for3588 they said,559 Lest6435 the earth776 swallow us up1104 also.

34 以色列族、在於四周、聞聲而遁、曰、恐我儕亦爲地所吞。

35 And there came out3318 a fire784 from4480 854 the LORD,3068 and consumed398 the853 two hundred3967 and fifty2572 men376 that offered7126 incense.7004

35 耶和華使火出、燬其焚香者、二百五十人。〇

36 And the LORD3068 spoke1696 unto413 Moses,4872 saying,559

36 耶和華諭摩西曰、

37 Speak559 unto413 Eleazar499 the son1121 of Aaron175 the priest,3548 that he take up7311 853 the censers4289 out of4480 996 the burning,8316 and scatter2219 thou the fire784 yonder;1973 for3588 they are hallowed.6942

37 告祭司亞倫子以利亞撒云、必取鼎於火中、傾其爇炭、蓋鼎已成聖、

38 853 The censers4289 of these428 sinners2400 against their own souls,5315 let them make6213 853 them broad7555 plates6341 for a covering6826 of the altar:4196 for3588 they offered7126 them before6440 the LORD,3068 therefore they are hallowed:6942 and they shall be1961 a sign226 unto the children1121 of Israel.3478

38 人雖犯法、自殞厥命、然其鼎嘗奉於我、故得成聖、當取其銅、擣之使薄、以飾祭壇、為以色列族、垂戒於後。

39 And Eleazar499 the priest3548 took3947 853 the brazen5178 censers,4289 wherewith834 they that were burnt8313 had offered;7126 and they were made broad7554 plates for a covering6826 of the altar: 4196

39 奉火見燬之人、悉有銅鼎、祭司以利亞撒取焉、擣之使薄、以飾祭壇。

40 To be a memorial2146 unto the children1121 of Israel,3478 that4616 834 no3808 stranger,376 2114 which1931 is not3808 of the seed4480 2233 of Aaron,175 come near7126 to offer6999 incense7004 before6440 the LORD;3068 that he be1961 not3808 as Korah,7141 and as his company:5712 as834 the LORD3068 said1696 to him by the hand3027 of Moses.4872

40 爲以色列族記誌、他人非亞倫之子孫則不得前、焚香以奉耶和華、恐遭厥害、若哥喇及其黨然、遵耶和華所諭摩西之命。〇

41 But on the morrow4480 4283 all3605 the congregation5712 of the children1121 of Israel3478 murmured3885 against5921 Moses4872 and against5921 Aaron,175 saying,559 Ye859 have killed4191 853 the people5971 of the LORD.3068

41 詰旦、以色列會衆怨摩西亞倫曰、耶和華之民、嘗為爾曹所戮、

42 And it came to pass,1961 when the congregation5712 was gathered6950 against5921 Moses4872 and against5921 Aaron,175 that they looked6437 toward413 the tabernacle168 of the congregation:4150 and, behold,2009 the cloud6051 covered3680 it, and the glory3519 of the LORD3068 appeared.7200

42 會衆咸集、攻擊摩西亞倫、、瞻望會幕、有雲蓋之、耶和華之榮光顯現。

43 And Moses4872 and Aaron175 came935 before413 6440 the tabernacle168 of the congregation.4150

43 摩西亞倫、至會幕前。

44 And the LORD3068 spoke1696 unto413 Moses,4872 saying,559

44 耶和華諭摩西曰、

45 Get you up7426 from among4480 8432 this2063 congregation,5712 that I may consume3615 them as in a moment.7281 And they fell5307 upon5921 their faces.6440

45 離此會衆、我將速滅之、二人俯伏。

46 And Moses4872 said559 unto413 Aaron,175 Take3947 853 a censer,4289 and put5414 fire784 therein5921 from off4480 5921 the altar,4196 and put on7760 incense,7004 and go1980 quickly4120 unto413 the congregation,5712 and make an atonement3722 for5921 them: for3588 there is wrath7110 gone out3318 from4480 6440 the LORD;3068 the plague5063 is begun.2490

46 摩西告亞倫曰、耶和華怒甚、其災已降、爾當執鼎、取壇上之火炷香、急至會衆、代爲贖罪。

47 And Aaron175 took3947 as834 Moses4872 commanded,1696 and ran7323 into413 the midst8432 of the congregation;6951 and, behold,2009 the plague5063 was begun2490 among the people:5971 and he put on5414 853 incense,7004 and made an atonement3722 for5921 the people.5971

47 亞倫遵摩西命、取鼎、趨至會衆所、見災已降、

48 And he stood5975 between996 the dead4191 and the living;2416 and the plague4046 was stayed.6113

48 立於生者死者間、炷香代贖其罪、厥災始弭、

49 Now they that died4191 in the plague4046 were1961 fourteen702 6240 thousand505 and seven7651 hundred,3967 beside4480 905 them that died4191 about5921 the matter1697 of Korah.7141

49 昔爲哥喇事殞沒外、降災而死者、計一萬四千七百人、

50 And Aaron175 returned7725 unto413 Moses4872 unto413 the door6607 of the tabernacle168 of the congregation:4150 and the plague4046 was stayed.6113

50 降災既止、亞倫反見摩西於會幕前。
