Chapter 32

1 Give ear,238 O ye heavens,8064 and I will speak;1696 and hear,8085 O earth,776 the words561 of my mouth.6310

2 My doctrine3948 shall drop6201 as the rain,4306 my speech565 shall distill5140 as the dew,2919 as the small rain8164 upon5921 the tender herb,1877 and as the showers7241 upon5921 the grass: 6212

3 Because3588 I will publish7121 the name8034 of the LORD:3068 ascribe3051 ye greatness1433 unto our God.430

4 He is the Rock,6697 his work6467 is perfect:8549 for3588 all3605 his ways1870 are judgment:4941 a God410 of truth530 and without369 iniquity,5766 just6662 and right3477 is he.1931

5 They have corrupted7843 themselves, their spot3971 is not3808 the spot of his children:1121 they are a perverse6141 and crooked6618 generation.1755

6 Do ye thus2063 requite1580 the LORD,3068 O foolish5036 people5971 and unwise?3808 2450 is not3808 he1931 thy father1 that hath bought7069 thee? hath he1931 not made6213 thee, and established3559 thee?

7 Remember2142 the days3117 of old,5769 consider995 the years8141 of many generations:1755 1755 ask7592 thy father,1 and he will show5046 thee; thy elders,2205 and they will tell559 thee.

8 When the most High5945 divided5157 to the nations1471 their inheritance, when he separated6504 the sons1121 of Adam,120 he set5324 the bounds1367 of the people5971 according to the number4557 of the children1121 of Israel.3478

9 For3588 the LORD's3068 portion2506 is his people;5971 Jacob3290 is the lot2256 of his inheritance.5159

10 He found4672 him in a desert4057 land,776 and in the waste8414 howling3214 wilderness;3452 he led him about,5437 he instructed995 him, he kept5341 him as the apple380 of his eye.5869

15 But Jeshurun3484 waxed fat,8080 and kicked:1163 thou art waxen fat,8080 thou art grown thick,5666 thou art covered3780 with fatness; then he forsook5203 God433 which made6213 him, and lightly esteemed5034 the Rock6697 of his salvation.3444

16 They provoked him to jealousy7065 with strange2114 gods, with abominations8441 provoked they him to anger.3707

17 They sacrificed2076 unto devils,7700 not3808 to God;433 to gods430 whom they knew3045 not,3808 to new2319 gods that came935 newly up,4480 7138 whom your fathers1 feared8175 not.3808

18 Of the Rock6697 that begot3205 thee thou art unmindful,7876 and hast forgotten7911 God410 that formed2342 thee.

19 And when the LORD3068 saw7200 it, he abhorred5006 them, because of the provoking4480 3708 of his sons,1121 and of his daughters.1323

20 And he said,559 I will hide5641 my face6440 from4480 them, I will see7200 what4100 their end319 shall be: for3588 they1992 are a very froward8419 generation,1755 children1121 in whom is no3808 faith.529

21 They1992 have moved me to jealousy7065 with that which is not3808 God;410 they have provoked me to anger3707 with their vanities:1892 and I589 will move them to jealousy7065 with those which are not3808 a people;5971 I will provoke them to anger3707 with a foolish5036 nation.1471

22 For3588 a fire784 is kindled6919 in mine anger,639 and shall burn3344 unto5704 the lowest8482 hell,7585 and shall consume398 the earth776 with her increase,2981 and set on fire3857 the foundations4146 of the mountains.2022

23 I will heap5595 mischiefs7451 upon5921 them; I will spend3615 mine arrows2671 upon them.

24 They shall be burnt4198 with hunger,7458 and devoured3898 with burning heat,7565 and with bitter4815 destruction:6986 I will also send7971 the teeth8127 of beasts929 upon them, with5973 the poison2534 of serpents2119 of the dust.6083

25 The sword2719 without,4480 2351 and terror367 within,4480 2315 shall destroy7921 both1571 the young man970 and1571 the virgin,1330 the suckling3243 also with5973 the man376 of gray hairs.7872

26 I said,559 I would scatter them into corners,6284 I would make the remembrance2143 of them to cease7673 from among men:4480 376

27 Were it not that3884 I feared1481 the wrath3708 of the enemy,341 lest6435 their adversaries6862 should behave themselves strangely,5234 and lest6435 they should say,559 Our hand3027 is high,7311 and the LORD3068 hath not3808 done6466 all3605 this.2063

28 For3588 they1992 are a nation1471 void6 of counsel,6098 neither369 is there any understanding8394 in them.

29 O that3863 they were wise,2449 that they understood7919 this,2063 that they would consider995 their latter end!319

30 How349 should one259 chase7291 a thousand,505 and two8147 put5127 ten thousand7233 to flight,5127 except518 3808 3588 their Rock6697 had sold4376 them, and the LORD3068 had shut them up?5462

31 For3588 their rock6697 is not3808 as our Rock,6697 even our enemies341 themselves being judges.6414

32 For3588 their vine1612 is of the vine4480 1612 of Sodom,5467 and of the fields4480 7709 of Gomorrah:6017 their grapes6025 are grapes6025 of gall,7219 their clusters811 are bitter: 4846

33 Their wine3196 is the poison2534 of dragons,8577 and the cruel393 venom7219 of asps.6620

34 Is not3808 this1931 laid up in store3647 with5978 me and sealed up2856 among my treasures?214

35 To me belongeth vengeance,5359 and recompense;8005 their foot7272 shall slide4131 in due time:6256 for3588 the day3117 of their calamity343 is at hand,7138 and the things that shall come6264 upon them make haste.2363

36 For3588 the LORD3068 shall judge1777 his people,5971 and repent himself5162 for5921 his servants,5650 when3588 he seeth7200 that3588 their power3027 is gone,235 and there is none657 shut up,6113 or left.5800

37 And he shall say,559 Where335 are their gods,430 their rock6697 in whom they trusted,2620

3 Имя Господа провозглашу, славьте величие нашего Бога!

4 Он — скала, Его дела совершенны, все Его пути праведны. Верен Бог, не творящий неправды, Он праведен и честен.

5 Перед Ним они развратились, и не дети они Ему, но род упрямый и извращенный, к своему стыду

6 Так ли воздаете вы Господу, народ безрассудный и глупый? Разве Он не Отец, не Творец твой, Тот, Кто создал, основал тебя?

7 Вспомни древние дни; подумай об ушедших поколениях. Спроси своего отца, и он скажет тебе, своих старейшин, и они объяснят тебе.

8 Когда Всевышний давал народам их наследие, когда Он разделил весь человеческий род, Он поставил пределы народов по числу сыновей Израиля.

9 Ведь доля Господня — Его народ, Иаков — наследственный удел Его.

10 В пустынной земле Он его нашел, в степи печальной и дикой. Ограждал его, пекся о нем; хранил его, как зеницу Своего ока.

11 Как орел вызывает свое гнездо и парит над своими птенцами, простирает свои крылья, берет птенцов и несет на своих перьях,

12 так Господь Один его вел; чужого бога не было с Ним.

13 Он вознес его на высоты земли и питал плодами полей. Он кормил его медом из сот, что в скалистых расщелинах и маслом из оливкового дерева, что растет на каменистой почве,

14 маслом и молоком от стада и отары, упитанными ягнятами и козлами, лучшими баранами Башана и отборной пшеницей. Ты пил вино, кровь винограда.

15 Ешурун растолстел и стал упрям; растолстел, обрюзг, разжирел. Он оставил Бога, Который создал его, и отверг Скалу своего спасения.

16 Они возбудили в Нем ревность чужими богами и разгневали Его мерзкими идолами.

17 Они приносили жертвы демонам, а не Богу, — богам, которых не знали, богам, появившимся недавно, богам, которых ваши отцы не боялись.

18 Ты покинул Скалу, родившую тебя; ты забыл Бога, создавшего тебя.

19 Господь увидел это и отверг их, так как разгневался на Своих сыновей и дочерей.

20 „Я скрою от них Свое лицо, — сказал Он, — и увижу, каков будет их конец; потому что они — извращенный род, неверные дети.

21 Они пробудили во Мне ревность всем тем, что не Бог, и разгневали Меня ничтожными идолами. Я пробужу в них ревность через тех, кого и народом-то не назвать; Я разгневаю их глупым народом.

22 Потому что от Моего гнева запылал огонь, что жжет до дна мира мертвых. Он пожрет землю и ее урожаи и подожжет основания гор.

23 Я соберу на них беды, выпущу в них Свои стрелы.

24 Я пошлю на них опустошительный голод, истребляющий мор и смертельную заразу; Я пошлю на них хищных зверей, ядовитых змей, что ползают в прахе.

25 На улицах меч лишит их детей, в их домах будет царить ужас. Будут гибнуть юноши и девушки, младенцы и седовласые старики.

26 Я сказал бы: рассею их и изглажу их память из человеческого рода,

27 если бы не опасался насмешек врагов, чтобы противники не возомнили о себе и не сказали: «Нашей руки торжество; не Господь совершил все это»“.

28 Это народ, потерявший рассудок, нет у них разума.

29 О если бы они были мудры, понимали бы это и уразумели, какой их ждет конец!

30 Как мог бы один человек преследовать тысячу или двое обратить в бегство десять тысяч, если бы их Скала не отступилась от них, если бы Господь их не выдал?

31 Ведь их скала не такова, как наша Скала: сами наши враги — судьи в том.

32 Их виноград с лозы Содома и с полей Гоморры. Их плоды полны яда, а их гроздья — горечи.

33 Их вино — яд змей, смертельный яд кобр.

34 „Не сокрыто ли это у Меня? Не запечатано ли в Моих кладовых?

35 Предоставьте месть Мне, Я воздам. Придет время, поскользнутся ноги врага; день их бедствия близок и участь их поспешает“.

36 Господь будет судить Свой народ и пожалеет Своих слуг, когда увидит, что исчезла их сила и не осталось никого — ни раба, ни свободного.

37 И скажет Он: „Где же их боги, та скала, за которой они укрывались?

38 Боги, которые ели жир их жертв, пили вино их жертвенных возлияний? Пусть восстанут, чтобы помочь вам! Пусть дадут вам покров!

39 Смотрите же ныне, что только Я Бог, и нет Бога, кроме Меня. Я умерщвляю и оживляю, Я ранил и Я исцелю, и никто не может избавить от Моей руки.

40 Я поднимаю руку к небу и объявляю: Верно, как и то, что Я живу вовеки, —

41 когда отточу Свой сияющий меч и рука Моя примет его для суда, Я отомщу Своим противникам и воздам тем, кто Меня ненавидит.

42 Я напою Свои стрелы кровью, а Мой меч будет пожирать плоть, кровь павших и пленных, головы вражеских вождей“.

43 Радуйтесь, язычники, вместе с Его народом, потому что Он отомстит за кровь Своих слуг; отомстит Он Своим врагам, очистит Свою землю и Свой народ».

44 Моисей пришел с Иисусом, сыном Навиным, и произнес народу все слова этой песни.

45 Сказав эти слова всему Израилю, Моисей

46 добавил: — Примите к сердцу все слова, которые я торжественно возвестил вам сегодня, чтобы вы велели своим детям прилежно слушаться всех слов этого Закона.

47 Для вас это не пустые слова: в них — ваша жизнь. Они дадут вам долго жить на земле, в которую вы переходите за Иордан, чтобы овладеть ею.

48 В тот же день Господь сказал Моисею:

49 — Поднимись на горную цепь Аварим, на гору Нево в Моаве, напротив Иерихона, и осмотри Ханаан, землю, которую Я отдаю во владение израильтянам.

50 На этой горе, куда ты поднимешься, ты умрешь и присоединишься к своему народу так же, как твой брат Аарон умер на горе Ор и присоединился к своему народу.

51 Это случится из-за того, что вы оба изменили Мне на виду у израильтян у вод Меривы в Кадеше, в пустыне Цин, и из-за того, что вы не отстаивали Мою святость среди израильтян.

52 Поэтому ты увидишь ее только на расстоянии — ты не войдешь в землю, которую Я даю народу Израиля.

25 На улицах меч лишит их детей, в их домах будет царить ужас. Будут гибнуть юноши и девушки, младенцы и седовласые старики.

26 Я сказал бы: рассею их и изглажу их память из человеческого рода,

28 Это народ, потерявший рассудок, нет у них разума.

29 O that3863 they were wise,2449 that they understood7919 this,2063 that they would consider995 their latter end!319

29 О если бы они были мудры, понимали бы это и уразумели, какой их ждет конец!

30 Как мог бы один человек преследовать тысячу или двое обратить в бегство десять тысяч, если бы их Скала не отступилась от них, если бы Господь их не выдал?

31 For3588 their rock6697 is not3808 as our Rock,6697 even our enemies341 themselves being judges.6414

31 Ведь их скала не такова, как наша Скала: сами наши враги — судьи в том.

32 For3588 their vine1612 is of the vine4480 1612 of Sodom,5467 and of the fields4480 7709 of Gomorrah:6017 their grapes6025 are grapes6025 of gall,7219 their clusters811 are bitter: 4846

32 Их виноград с лозы Содома и с полей Гоморры. Их плоды полны яда, а их гроздья — горечи.

35 Предоставьте месть Мне, Я воздам. Придет время, поскользнутся ноги врага; день их бедствия близок и участь их поспешает“.

36 Господь будет судить Свой народ и пожалеет Своих слуг, когда увидит, что исчезла их сила и не осталось никого — ни раба, ни свободного.

37 И скажет Он: „Где же их боги, та скала, за которой они укрывались?

39 Смотрите же ныне, что только Я Бог, и нет Бога, кроме Меня. Я умерщвляю и оживляю, Я ранил и Я исцелю, и никто не может избавить от Моей руки.

40 Я поднимаю руку к небу и объявляю: Верно, как и то, что Я живу вовеки, —

41 когда отточу Свой сияющий меч и рука Моя примет его для суда, Я отомщу Своим противникам и воздам тем, кто Меня ненавидит.

43 Радуйтесь, язычники, вместе с Его народом, потому что Он отомстит за кровь Своих слуг; отомстит Он Своим врагам, очистит Свою землю и Свой народ».

47 Для вас это не пустые слова: в них — ваша жизнь. Они дадут вам долго жить на земле, в которую вы переходите за Иордан, чтобы овладеть ею.

50 На этой горе, куда ты поднимешься, ты умрешь и присоединишься к своему народу так же, как твой брат Аарон умер на горе Ор и присоединился к своему народу.

51 Because5921 834 ye trespassed4603 against me among8432 the children1121 of Israel3478 at the waters4325 of Meribah-Kadesh,4809 6946 in the wilderness4057 of Zin;6790 because5921 834 ye sanctified6942 me not3808 in the midst8432 of the children1121 of Israel.3478

51 Это случится из-за того, что вы оба изменили Мне на виду у израильтян у вод Меривы в Кадеше, в пустыне Цин, и из-за того, что вы не отстаивали Мою святость среди израильтян.

52 Yet3588 thou shalt see7200 853 the land776 before4480 5048 thee; but thou shalt not3808 go935 thither8033 unto413 the land776 which834 I589 give5414 the children1121 of Israel.3478

52 Поэтому ты увидишь ее только на расстоянии — ты не войдешь в землю, которую Я даю народу Израиля.
