Psalm 98

1 SING to the LORD a new song; for he has done marvellous things; his right hand and his holy arm have gotten him the victory.

2 The LORD has made known his salvation; his righteousness has he revealed in the sight of the heathen.

3 He has remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel; all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

4 Praise the LORD, all the earth; make ye merry and sing and give praise.

5 Sing to the LORD with the harp, with the harp and the voice of a choir.

6 With the sound of trumpets give praise before the LORD, the King.

7 Let the sea roar and the fulness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein.

8 Let the rivers clap their hands; let the hills be joyful together

9 Before the LORD; for he comes to judge the earth; with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.

1 Вечный царствует; пусть трепещут народы!Он восседает на херувимах; пусть содрогнётся земля!

2 Вечный велик на Сионе; Он превознесён над всеми народами.

3 Да восхвалят они Твоё великое и грозное имя: Ты свят!

4 Царь могуществен и любит справедливость. Ты установил правосудие и в Исраиле совершил то, что справедливо и праведно.

5 Превозносите Вечного, нашего Бога, и поклонитесь Ему у подножия Его: Он свят!

6 Муса и Харун – среди Его священнослужителей, и Шемуил – среди призывающих имя Его.Они призывали Вечного, и Он ответил им.

7 В облачном столпе говорил Он к ним; они сохранили Его заповеди и установления, которые Он им дал.

8 Ты ответил им, о Вечный, наш Бог; Ты был для них Богом прощающим, но и наказывал их за проступки.

9 Превозносите Вечного, нашего Бога и прославляйте Его на святой горе Его, потому что свят Вечный, наш Бог.
