Chapter 4

1 AND in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel; only let us be called by your name, to take away our reproach.

2 In that day shall the glory and honor of the LORD shine forth, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for the remnant of Israel.

3 And it shall come to pass, that he who is left in Zion, and he who remains in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one who is written among the living in Jerusalem,

4 When the LORD shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the bloodshed from the midst of Jerusalem, by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of purging.

5 And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, round about, a cloud by day, and the smoke and shining of a flaming fire by night; for the glory of the LORD shall be a shelter over all.

6 And there shall be a shelter for a shade in the day time from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a shelter from the storm and from the rain.

1 И ухватятся семь женщин за одного мужчину в тот день, и скажут: своим хлебом будем питаться, и одежду свою будем носить, только именем твоим позволь нам называться, - сними с нас стыд.

2 В оный день отрасль Иеговы будет красотою и славою, - и плод земли величием и честью спасшихся сынов Израиля.

3 Тогда оставшиеся на Сионе, и уцелевшие в Иерусалиме, будут именоваться святыми, все вписанные для жизни в Иерусалиме, -

4 Когда Господь омоет скверну дщерей Сиона, и внутренность Иерусалима очистит от кровей его, духом суда и духом жжения.

5 И будет творить Иегова над всяким местом горы Сиона и над собраниями его облако и дым во время дня, и блистание пылающего огня во время ночи, ибо покров над всякою славою.

6 И будет скиния для осенения днем от зноя, и для приюта и убежища от непогод и дождей.
