Chapter 4

1 AND in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel; only let us be called by your name, to take away our reproach.

2 In that day shall the glory and honor of the LORD shine forth, and the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for the remnant of Israel.

3 And it shall come to pass, that he who is left in Zion, and he who remains in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one who is written among the living in Jerusalem,

4 When the LORD shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion, and shall have purged the bloodshed from the midst of Jerusalem, by the spirit of judgment, and by the spirit of purging.

5 And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, round about, a cloud by day, and the smoke and shining of a flaming fire by night; for the glory of the LORD shall be a shelter over all.

6 And there shall be a shelter for a shade in the day time from the heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a shelter from the storm and from the rain.

1 В то время семь женщин схватят одного мужчину и скажут: «Мы сами добудем себе хлеб, сами сделаем себе одежду, всё сделаем, только возьми нас замуж и сними с нас позор».

2 В те времена росток Господний будет велик и прекрасен, и люди, живущие в Израиле, будут радоваться земным дарам.

3 В те времена оставшиеся на Сионе и выжившие в Иерусалиме будут называться святыми. Их имена внесены в список тех, кому было позволено сохранить жизнь.

4 Господь смоет кровь с женщин Сиона, смоет скверну с Иерусалима и будет судить духом справедливости, духом огня всё очистит Господь.

5 Господь докажет верность людям Своим и днём сотворит облако дыма, а ночью — ярко пылающий огонь, и будут в небе эти доказательства над каждым домом и над каждым собранием на горе Сион, и над каждым оно станет охраняющим покровом.

6 Этот покров будет спасением, он предохранит от дневного жара и станет укрытием от наводнений и дождей.
