Chapter 16

1 AND the LORD spoke to Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they offered strange fire before the LORD and died;

2 And the LORD said to Moses, Speak to Aaron your brother that he come not at all times into the holy place within the veil before the mercy seat which is upon the ark, that he die not; for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.

3 Thus shall Aaron come into the holy place: with a young bullock for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering.

4 He shall put on the holy linen coat and he shall have linen breeches upon his body and shall be girded with a linen girdle and shall put a linen mitre upon his head; because these are the vestments of the sanctuary; therefore he shall bathe his body in water, and then put them on.

5 And he shall take from the congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin offering and one ram for a burnt offering.

6 And Aaron shall offer the bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make an atonement for himself and for his house.

7 And he shall take the two goats and present them alive before the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

8 And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats, one lot for the LORD and the other lot for Azazael.

9 And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the LORD'S lot fell and offer it for a sin offering.

10 But the goat on which the lot of Azazael fell shall be presented alive before the LORD to make an atonement with it and to send it away to Azazael into the wilderness.

11 And Aaron shall bring the bullock of the sin offering which is for himself, and shall make an atonement for himself and for his house; and shall kill the bullock of the sin offering;

12 And he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from the altar before the LORD and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and enter within the veil;

13 And he shall put the incense on the fire before the LORD, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is upon the testimony, that he die not;

14 And he shall take some of the blood of the bullock and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.

15 Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering which is for the people and bring its blood within the veil, and do with its blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat and before the mercy seat;

16 And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel and because of their transgressions in all their sins; and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation which remains among them in the midst of their uncleanness.

17 And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goes in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he comes out and has made an atonement for himself and for his household and for all the congregation of Israel.

18 And he shall go out to the altar that is before the LORD and make an atonement for it; and shall take some of the blood of the bullock and some of the blood of the goat, and sprinkle it upon the horns of the altar round about.

19 And he shall sprinkle some of the blood upon it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it and hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.

20 And when he has made an end of atoning for the holy place and the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, he shall bring the live goat;

21 And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat and confess over it all the iniquities of the children of Israel and all their transgressions and all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send it away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness;

22 And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities to a barren land; and he shall leave the goat in the wilderness.

23 And Aaron shall come into the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall put off the linen vestments which he put on when he went into the holy place, and shall leave them there;

24 And he shall bathe his body in water in the holy place and put on his garments, and come forth and offer his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people, and make an atonement for himself and for the people.

25 And the fat of the sin offering he shall burn upon the altar.

26 And he who let go the goat for Azazael shall wash his clothes and bathe his body in water and afterward shall come into the camp.

27 And the bullock for the sin offering and the goat for the sin offering, some of whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the holy place, they shall carry forth outside the camp; and they shall burn in the fire their skins and their meat and their dung.

28 And he who burns them shall wash his clothes and bathe his body in water and afterward he shall come into the camp.

29 And this shall be a statute for ever to you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall humble yourselves and do no work at all, both you and the proselytes who sojourn among you;

30 For on this day shall the priest make an atonement for you, that you may be clean from all your sins and that you may be clean before the LORD.

31 It shall be a sabbath and a rest to you, and you shall humble yourselves; it is a statute for ever.

32 And the priest who shall be anointed and who is consecrated to minister in the priest's office in his father's stead shall make the atonement and shall put on the linen clothes, even the holy garments;

33 And he shall make an atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make an atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation and for the altar, and he shall make an atonement for the priests and for all the people of the congregation.

34 And this shall be an everlasting statute for you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the LORD commanded Moses.

1 И говорил Господь Моисею, по смерти двух сынов Аароновых, когда они, приступив [с чуждым огнем] пред лице Господне, умерли.

2 И сказал Господь Моисею: скажи Аарону, брату твоему, чтоб он не во всякое время входил во святилище за завесу пред крышку, которая на ковчеге [откровения], дабы не умереть; ибо над тою крышкою являюсь Я во облаке.

3 С сим войдет Аарон во святилище: с тельцем в жертву за грех и с овном во всесожжение.

4 Пусть наденет он священный льняный хитон, нижнее льняное платье да будет на теле его, и льняным поясом пусть опояшется и возложит на голову льняный кидар: это священные одежды. Пусть омоет он тело свое водою и наденет их.

5 И от общества сынов Израилевых пусть возьмет из стада коз двух козлов в жертву за грех и одного овна во всесожжение.

6 И приведет Аарон тельца, который от него, в жертву за грех и очистит себя и дом свой.

7 И возьмет двух козлов и поставит их пред лицем Господним у дверей скинии собрания;

8 И сделает Аарон о обоих козлах жеребии: один жеребий для Иеговы, а другой жеребий для отпущения.

9 Козла, на которого вышел жеребий для Иеговы, возьмет и принесет в жертву за грех,

10 А козла, на которого вышел жеребий для отпущения, поставит живого пред Господом, чтоб совершить над ним очищение и отослать его в пустыню для отпущения, [и чтоб он понес на себе их беззакония в землю непроходимую].

11 И приведет Аарон тельца, который от него, в жертву за грех и очистит себя и дом свой, и заколет тельца, который от него, в жертву за грех;

12 И возьмет полную кадильницу горящих угольев с жертвенника, который пред лицем Господним, и полные обе горсти благовонного курения, мелко истолченного, и внесет за завесу;

13 И положит курение на огонь пред лицем Господним, и облако курения покроет крышку, которая над ковчегом откровения, и он не умрет.

14 И возьмет крови тельца и покропит перстом своим на крышку спереди и пред крышкою, семь раз покропит кровью с перста своего.

15 И заколет козла, который в жертву за грех от народа [пред Господом], и внесет кровь его за завесу и сделает с кровью его то же, что делал с кровью тельца, и прокропит ею на крышку и пред крышкою.

16 И таким образом очистит святилище от нечистот сынов Израилевых и от преступлений их и от всех грехов их. Так должен поступить он со скинией собрания, находящеюся у них, среди нечистот их.

17 Ни один человек не должен быть в скинии собрания, когда входит он для очищения святилища, до самого выхода его, пока очищает он себя, дом свой и все общество Израилево.

18 После того выйдет он к жертвеннику, который пред лицем Господним, и очистит его, возьмет крови тельца и крови козла, и возложит на рога жертвенника со всех сторон,

19 И покропит на него кровью с перста своего семь раз, и очистит его, и освятит его от нечистот сынов Израилевых.

20 Совершив очищение святилища, скинии собрания и жертвенника [и очистив священников], приведет он живого козла,

21 И возложит Аарон обе руки свои на голову живого козла и исповедает над ним все беззакония сынов Израилевых и все преступления их [и] все грехи их, и возложит их на голову козла, и отошлет с приготовленным на то человеком в пустыню,

22 Чтоб козел понес на себе все беззакония их в необитаемую землю, и он пустит козла в пустыню,

23 После сего Аарон войдет в скинию собрания и скинет льняные одежды, которые надевал, входя во святилище, и оставит их там,

24 И омоет тело свое водою на святом месте, и наденет одежды свои, и выйдет и совершит всесожжение свое и всесожжение от народа, и очистит себя, [дом свой], и народ, [и священников];

25 А тук жертвы за грех воскурит на жертвеннике.

26 И тот, кто приводил козла для отпущения, должен вымыть одежды свои, омыть тело свое водою, и потом может войти в стан.

27 А тельца за грех и козла за грех, которых кровь внесена была для очищения святилища, пусть вынесут вон из стана и сожгут на огне кожи их и мясо их и нечистоту их.

28 Кто сожжет их, тот должен вымыть одежды свои и омыть тело свое водою, и после того может войти в стан.

29 Да будет сие для вас вечным постановлением: в седьмой месяц, в десятый [день] месяца смиряйте души ваши и никакого дела не делайте, ни природный житель, ни пришлец, поселившийся между вами;

30 Ибо в сей день очищают вас, чтобы сделать вас чистыми от всех грехов ваших, чтоб вы были чисты пред лицем Господним.

31 Это суббота покоя для вас, смиряйте души ваши: это постановление вечное.

32 Очищать же должен священник, который помазан и которому наполнены руки, чтобы он священнодействовал вместо отца своего. Он наденет льняные одежды, одежды священные,

33 И очистит святое святилище и скинию собрания, и жертвенник очистит, и священников, и весь народ общества очистит.

34 Да будет сие для вас вечным постановлением: очищать сынов Израилевых от всех грехов их однажды в году. И сделал он так, как повелел Господь Моисею.

2 И сказал Господь Моисею: скажи Аарону, брату твоему, чтоб он не во всякое время входил во святилище за завесу пред крышку, которая на ковчеге [откровения], дабы не умереть; ибо над тою крышкою являюсь Я во облаке.

3 Thus shall Aaron come into the holy place: with a young bullock for a sin offering and a ram for a burnt offering.

3 С сим войдет Аарон во святилище: с тельцем в жертву за грех и с овном во всесожжение.

4 He shall put on the holy linen coat and he shall have linen breeches upon his body and shall be girded with a linen girdle and shall put a linen mitre upon his head; because these are the vestments of the sanctuary; therefore he shall bathe his body in water, and then put them on.

4 Пусть наденет он священный льняный хитон, нижнее льняное платье да будет на теле его, и льняным поясом пусть опояшется и возложит на голову льняный кидар: это священные одежды. Пусть омоет он тело свое водою и наденет их.

5 And he shall take from the congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin offering and one ram for a burnt offering.

5 И от общества сынов Израилевых пусть возьмет из стада коз двух козлов в жертву за грех и одного овна во всесожжение.

6 And Aaron shall offer the bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make an atonement for himself and for his house.

6 И приведет Аарон тельца, который от него, в жертву за грех и очистит себя и дом свой.

7 And he shall take the two goats and present them alive before the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

7 И возьмет двух козлов и поставит их пред лицем Господним у дверей скинии собрания;

8 And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats, one lot for the LORD and the other lot for Azazael.

8 И сделает Аарон о обоих козлах жеребии: один жеребий для Иеговы, а другой жеребий для отпущения.

9 And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the LORD'S lot fell and offer it for a sin offering.

9 Козла, на которого вышел жеребий для Иеговы, возьмет и принесет в жертву за грех,

10 But the goat on which the lot of Azazael fell shall be presented alive before the LORD to make an atonement with it and to send it away to Azazael into the wilderness.

10 А козла, на которого вышел жеребий для отпущения, поставит живого пред Господом, чтоб совершить над ним очищение и отослать его в пустыню для отпущения, [и чтоб он понес на себе их беззакония в землю непроходимую].

11 And Aaron shall bring the bullock of the sin offering which is for himself, and shall make an atonement for himself and for his house; and shall kill the bullock of the sin offering;

11 И приведет Аарон тельца, который от него, в жертву за грех и очистит себя и дом свой, и заколет тельца, который от него, в жертву за грех;

12 И возьмет полную кадильницу горящих угольев с жертвенника, который пред лицем Господним, и полные обе горсти благовонного курения, мелко истолченного, и внесет за завесу;

13 And he shall put the incense on the fire before the LORD, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is upon the testimony, that he die not;

13 И положит курение на огонь пред лицем Господним, и облако курения покроет крышку, которая над ковчегом откровения, и он не умрет.

14 And he shall take some of the blood of the bullock and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.

14 И возьмет крови тельца и покропит перстом своим на крышку спереди и пред крышкою, семь раз покропит кровью с перста своего.

15 Then he shall kill the goat of the sin offering which is for the people and bring its blood within the veil, and do with its blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat and before the mercy seat;

15 И заколет козла, который в жертву за грех от народа [пред Господом], и внесет кровь его за завесу и сделает с кровью его то же, что делал с кровью тельца, и прокропит ею на крышку и пред крышкою.

16 And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel and because of their transgressions in all their sins; and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation which remains among them in the midst of their uncleanness.

16 И таким образом очистит святилище от нечистот сынов Израилевых и от преступлений их и от всех грехов их. Так должен поступить он со скинией собрания, находящеюся у них, среди нечистот их.

17 And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goes in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he comes out and has made an atonement for himself and for his household and for all the congregation of Israel.

17 Ни один человек не должен быть в скинии собрания, когда входит он для очищения святилища, до самого выхода его, пока очищает он себя, дом свой и все общество Израилево.

18 And he shall go out to the altar that is before the LORD and make an atonement for it; and shall take some of the blood of the bullock and some of the blood of the goat, and sprinkle it upon the horns of the altar round about.

18 После того выйдет он к жертвеннику, который пред лицем Господним, и очистит его, возьмет крови тельца и крови козла, и возложит на рога жертвенника со всех сторон,

19 And he shall sprinkle some of the blood upon it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it and hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.

19 И покропит на него кровью с перста своего семь раз, и очистит его, и освятит его от нечистот сынов Израилевых.

20 And when he has made an end of atoning for the holy place and the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, he shall bring the live goat;

20 Совершив очищение святилища, скинии собрания и жертвенника [и очистив священников], приведет он живого козла,

21 And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat and confess over it all the iniquities of the children of Israel and all their transgressions and all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send it away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness;

21 И возложит Аарон обе руки свои на голову живого козла и исповедает над ним все беззакония сынов Израилевых и все преступления их [и] все грехи их, и возложит их на голову козла, и отошлет с приготовленным на то человеком в пустыню,

22 And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities to a barren land; and he shall leave the goat in the wilderness.

22 Чтоб козел понес на себе все беззакония их в необитаемую землю, и он пустит козла в пустыню,

23 And Aaron shall come into the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall put off the linen vestments which he put on when he went into the holy place, and shall leave them there;

23 После сего Аарон войдет в скинию собрания и скинет льняные одежды, которые надевал, входя во святилище, и оставит их там,

24 And he shall bathe his body in water in the holy place and put on his garments, and come forth and offer his burnt offering and the burnt offering of the people, and make an atonement for himself and for the people.

24 И омоет тело свое водою на святом месте, и наденет одежды свои, и выйдет и совершит всесожжение свое и всесожжение от народа, и очистит себя, [дом свой], и народ, [и священников];

25 And the fat of the sin offering he shall burn upon the altar.

25 А тук жертвы за грех воскурит на жертвеннике.

26 And he who let go the goat for Azazael shall wash his clothes and bathe his body in water and afterward shall come into the camp.

26 И тот, кто приводил козла для отпущения, должен вымыть одежды свои, омыть тело свое водою, и потом может войти в стан.

27 And the bullock for the sin offering and the goat for the sin offering, some of whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the holy place, they shall carry forth outside the camp; and they shall burn in the fire their skins and their meat and their dung.

27 А тельца за грех и козла за грех, которых кровь внесена была для очищения святилища, пусть вынесут вон из стана и сожгут на огне кожи их и мясо их и нечистоту их.

28 And he who burns them shall wash his clothes and bathe his body in water and afterward he shall come into the camp.

28 Кто сожжет их, тот должен вымыть одежды свои и омыть тело свое водою, и после того может войти в стан.

29 And this shall be a statute for ever to you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall humble yourselves and do no work at all, both you and the proselytes who sojourn among you;

29 Да будет сие для вас вечным постановлением: в седьмой месяц, в десятый [день] месяца смиряйте души ваши и никакого дела не делайте, ни природный житель, ни пришлец, поселившийся между вами;

30 For on this day shall the priest make an atonement for you, that you may be clean from all your sins and that you may be clean before the LORD.

30 Ибо в сей день очищают вас, чтобы сделать вас чистыми от всех грехов ваших, чтоб вы были чисты пред лицем Господним.

31 It shall be a sabbath and a rest to you, and you shall humble yourselves; it is a statute for ever.

31 Это суббота покоя для вас, смиряйте души ваши: это постановление вечное.

32 Очищать же должен священник, который помазан и которому наполнены руки, чтобы он священнодействовал вместо отца своего. Он наденет льняные одежды, одежды священные,

33 And he shall make an atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make an atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation and for the altar, and he shall make an atonement for the priests and for all the people of the congregation.

33 И очистит святое святилище и скинию собрания, и жертвенник очистит, и священников, и весь народ общества очистит.

34 And this shall be an everlasting statute for you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the LORD commanded Moses.

34 Да будет сие для вас вечным постановлением: очищать сынов Израилевых от всех грехов их однажды в году. И сделал он так, как повелел Господь Моисею.
