Chapter 13

1 WHEN JESUS went out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, Teacher, behold, look at those stones and those buildings.

2 Jesus said to him, Do you see these great buildings? Not a stone shall be left here upon another stone, which shall not be torn down.

3 While Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives, towards the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him alone,

4 Tell us when these things will happen, and what is the sign when all these things are about to be fulfilled?

5 Then Jesus began to tell them; Be careful that no man deceive you.

6 For many will come in my name, and say, I am he; and they will deceive many.

7 And when you hear of wars and rumors of revolutions, do not be afraid; for this is bound to happen, but the end is not yet.

8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be earthquakes in different places, and there will be famines and uprisings. These things are just the beginning of travail.

9 Look out for yourselves; for they will deliver you to the judges, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; and you will stand before kings and governors for my sake, and as a testimony to them.

10 But my gospel must first be preached among all nations.

11 When they bring you up to deliver you, do not worry beforehand what you will speak; and do not think of anything except what is given you in that very hour; speak that; for it is not you that speak, but the Holy Spirit.

12 A brother will deliver his brother to death, and a father his son; and the children will rise up against their parents, and put them to death.

13 And you will be hated by all men because of my name; but he who has patience to the end, will be saved.

14 But when you see the sign of the refuse of desolation, as spoken by the prophet Daniel, accumulating where it should not be, whoever reads can understand it. Then let those who are in Judaea flee to the mountain;

15 And he who is on the roof, let him not come down, and not enter to take anything out of his house;

16 And he who is in the field, let him not return to take his clothes.

17 But woe to those who are with child, and to those who give suck in those days!

18 Pray that your flight may not be in winter.

19 For in those days there will be suffering, such as has never been from the beginning of the creation, which God created until now, and never will be again.

20 And if the Lord had not shortened those days, no flesh would live; but for the sake of the chosen ones, which he chose, he shortened those days.

21 Then if any man should say to you, Behold, here is the Christ; or, behold, there; do not believe it.

22 For there will rise false Christs, and lying prophets, and they will show signs and wonders, and mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones.

23 But you be careful; behold, I have told you everything in advance.

24 But in those days, after that suffering, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give her light,

25 And the stars will fall down from the sky, and the powers of the universe will be shaken.

26 Then they will see the Son of man coming in the clouds, with a great army and with glory.

27 Then he will send his angels, and gather his chosen ones from the four winds, from the utmost part of the earth to the utmost part of heaven.

28 From the fig tree learn a parable. When its branches become tender and bring forth leaves, you know that summer is coming.

29 So even you, when you see all these things happen, understand that it is near the door.

30 Truly I say to you that this generation will not pass away, until all these things happen.

31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

32 But concerning that day and that hour, no man knows, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, except the Father.

33 Look out, be alert and pray; for you do not know when the time is.

34 It is just like a man who went on a journey, and left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to each man his work, and he commanded the porter to keep awake.

35 Be alert therefore, for you do not know when the owner of the house will come, in the evening, or at midnight, or at the cockcrow, or in the morning.

36 He might come suddenly, and find you asleep.

37 What I say to you I say to all of you: Be alert.

1 Когда Иисус выходил из храма, один из учеников сказал Ему: — Учитель! Посмотри, какие камни! Какие здания!

2 — Видишь эти величественные здания? — сказал Иисус. — Здесь не останется и камня на камне, все будет разрушено.

3 Когда Иисус сидел на Оливковой горе напротив храма, Петр, Иаков, Иоанн и Андрей спросили Его наедине:

4 — Скажи нам, когда это произойдет и какое знамение укажет на то, что все это скоро исполнится?

5 Иисус начал говорить им: — Смотрите, чтобы никто не обманул вас.

6 Многие будут приходить под Моим именем, говоря: «Это Я», и многих обманут.

7 Когда вы услышите о войнах, настоящих и грядущих, не пугайтесь. Все это должно произойти, но это еще не конец.

8 Потому что народ поднимется на народ и царство на царство. В разных местах будут землетрясения и голод, но это лишь начало родовых схваток.

9 Будьте бдительны! Вас будут отдавать под суд и избивать в синагогах. Из-за Меня вы будете стоять перед правителями и царями и свидетельствовать им.

10 Но прежде Радостная Весть должна быть возвещена всем народам.

11 И когда вас арестуют и поведут на суд, не беспокойтесь заранее о том, что вам сказать. Говорите то, что вам будет дано в тот час, ведь это не вы сами будете говорить, а Святой Дух.

12 Брат предаст брата, а отец — своего ребенка, тем самым обрекая их на верную смерть. Так же будут поступать и дети: восставать против родителей и предавать их.

13 Все вас будут ненавидеть из-за Меня, но тот, кто выстоит до конца, будет спасен.

14 Когда же вы увидите «опустошающую мерзость» там, где ее не должно быть, — пусть читающий поймет, — тогда те, кто находится в Иудее, пусть бегут в горы.

15 Кто окажется на крыше, пусть не спускается и не идет в дом за вещами,

16 и кто окажется в поле, пусть не возвращается за своим плащом.

17 Горе же беременным и кормящим грудью в те дни.

18 Молитесь, чтобы это не случилось зимой,

19 потому что в те дни будут такие бедствия, каких еще не было от начала творения мира Богом и доныне, и никогда больше не будет.

20 Если бы Господь не сократил эти дни, то не уцелело бы ни одно живое существо, но ради избранных, которых Он Сам избрал, Он сократил эти дни.

21 — И если кто-нибудь вам тогда скажет: «Смотрите! Христос здесь!» или «Смотрите, Он там!» — не верьте,

22 потому что явятся лжехристы и лжепророки и покажут знамения и чудеса, чтобы обмануть, если удастся, и избранных.

23 Так что, смотрите! Я предсказал вам все наперед.

24 Но в те дни, после тех бедствий, «солнце померкнет, и луна не даст света;

25 звезды будут падать с неба, и небесные силы поколеблются».

26 И тогда люди увидят Сына Человеческого, идущего на облаках с великой силой и славой.

27 Он пошлет ангелов и соберет Своих избранных с четырех сторон света, от края земли до края неба.

28 Пусть для вас примером будет инжир: когда почки набухают и выпускают листья, вы знаете, что приближается лето.

29 Так и здесь, когда вы увидите, что это сбывается, знайте, что Он уже близко, у самых дверей.

30 Говорю вам истину: еще не исчезнет это поколение, как все это произойдет.

31 Небо и земля пройдут, но Мои слова не пройдут.

32 — Но о том дне или часе не знает никто, кроме Отца — ни ангелы на небесах, ни Сын.

33 Смотрите, бодрствуйте: ведь вы не знаете, когда это время наступит.

34 Вот с чем можно сравнить это ожидание: человек, отправляясь в далекое путешествие, оставляет свой дом под присмотром слуг и каждому слуге дает особое поручение, а привратнику наказывает бодрствовать.

35 Так и вы — бодрствуйте! Ведь вы не знаете, когда возвратится хозяин дома: может вечером, а может в полночь, может с пением петухов, а может на рассвете.

36 Пусть же он, даже придя внезапно, не застанет вас спящими.

37 А то, что Я говорю вам, говорю и всем: бодрствуйте!

2 Jesus said to him, Do you see these great buildings? Not a stone shall be left here upon another stone, which shall not be torn down.	2 — Видишь эти величественные здания? — сказал Иисус. — Здесь не останется и камня на камне, все будет разрушено.
3 While Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives, towards the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him alone,	3 Когда Иисус сидел на Оливковой горе напротив храма, Петр, Иаков, Иоанн и Андрей спросили Его наедине:
4 Tell us when these things will happen, and what is the sign when all these things are about to be fulfilled?	4 — Скажи нам, когда это произойдет и какое знамение укажет на то, что все это скоро исполнится?
5 Then Jesus began to tell them; Be careful that no man deceive you.	5 Иисус начал говорить им: — Смотрите, чтобы никто не обманул вас.
6 For many will come in my name, and say, I am he; and they will deceive many.	6 Многие будут приходить под Моим именем, говоря: «Это Я», и многих обманут.
7 And when you hear of wars and rumors of revolutions, do not be afraid; for this is bound to happen, but the end is not yet.	7 Когда вы услышите о войнах, настоящих и грядущих, не пугайтесь. Все это должно произойти, но это еще не конец.
8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be earthquakes in different places, and there will be famines and uprisings. 10 But my gospel must first be preached among all nations.	10 Но прежде Радостная Весть должна быть возвещена всем народам.
11 When they bring you up to deliver you, do not worry beforehand what you will speak; and do not think of anything except what is given you in that very hour; speak that; for it is not you that speak, but the Holy Spirit.	11 И когда вас арестуют и поведут на суд, не беспокойтесь заранее о том, что вам сказать. Говорите то, что вам будет дано в тот час, ведь это не вы сами будете говорить, а Святой Дух.
12 A brother will deliver his brother to death, and a father his son; and the children will rise up against their parents, and put them to death.	12 Брат предаст брата, а отец — своего ребенка, тем самым обрекая их на верную смерть. Так же будут поступать и дети: восставать против родителей и предавать их.
13 And you will be hated by all men because of my name; but he who has patience to the end, will be saved.	13 Все вас будут ненавидеть из-за Меня, но тот, кто выстоит до конца, будет спасен.
14 But when you see the sign of the refuse of desolation, as spoken by the prophet Daniel, accumulating where it should not be, whoever reads can understand it. Then let those who are in Judaea flee to the mountain;	14 Когда же вы увидите «опустошающую мерзость» там, где ее не должно быть, — пусть читающий поймет, — тогда те, кто находится в Иудее, пусть бегут в горы.
15 And he who is on the roof, let him not come down, and not enter to take anything out of his house;	15 Кто окажется на крыше, пусть не спускается и не идет в дом за вещами,
16 And he who is in the field, let him not return to take his clothes.	16 и кто окажется в поле, пусть не возвращается за своим плащом.
17 But woe to those who are with child, and to those who give suck in those days!	17 Горе же беременным и кормящим грудью в те дни.
18 Pray that your flight may not be in winter.	18 Молитесь, чтобы это не случилось зимой,
19 For in those days there will be suffering, such as has never been from the beginning of the creation, which God created until now, and never will be again.	19 потому что в те дни будут такие бедствия, каких еще не было от начала творения мира Богом и доныне, и никогда больше не будет.
20 And if the Lord had not shortened those days, no flesh would live; but for the sake of the chosen ones, which he chose, he shortened those days.	20 Если бы Господь не сократил эти дни, то не уцелело бы ни одно живое существо, но ради избранных, которых Он Сам избрал, Он сократил эти дни.
21 Then if any man should say to you, Behold, here is the Christ; or, behold, there; do not believe it.	21 — И если кто-нибудь вам тогда скажет: «Смотрите! Христос здесь!» или «Смотрите, Он там!» — не верьте,
22 For there will rise false Christs, and lying prophets, and they will show signs and wonders, and mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones.	22 потому что явятся лжехристы и лжепророки и покажут знамения и чудеса, чтобы обмануть, если удастся, и избранных.
23 But you be careful; behold, I have told you everything in advance.	23 Так что, смотрите! Я предсказал вам все наперед.
24 But in those days, after that suffering, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give her light,	24 Но в те дни, после тех бедствий, «солнце померкнет, и луна не даст света;
25 And the stars will fall down from the sky, and the powers of the universe will be shaken.	25 звезды будут падать с неба, и небесные силы поколеблются».
26 Then they will see the Son of man coming in the clouds, with a great army and with glory.	26 И тогда люди увидят Сына Человеческого, идущего на облаках с великой силой и славой.
27 Then he will send his angels, and gather his chosen ones from the four winds, from the utmost part of the earth to the utmost part of heaven.	27 Он пошлет ангелов и соберет Своих избранных с четырех сторон света, от края земли до края неба.
28 From the fig tree learn a parable. When its branches become tender and bring forth leaves, you know that summer is coming.	28 Пусть для вас примером будет инжир: когда почки набухают и выпускают листья, вы знаете, что приближается лето.
29 So even you, when you see all these things happen, understand that it is near the door.	29 Так и здесь, когда вы увидите, что это сбывается, знайте, что Он уже близко, у самых дверей.
30 Truly I say to you that this generation will not pass away, until all these things happen.	30 Говорю вам истину: еще не исчезнет это поколение, как все это произойдет.
31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words shall not pass away.	31 Небо и земля пройдут, но Мои слова не пройдут.
32 But concerning that day and that hour, no man knows, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, except the Father.	32 — Но о том дне или часе не знает никто, кроме Отца — ни ангелы на небесах, ни Сын.
33 Look out, be alert and pray; for you do not know when the time is.	33 Смотрите, бодрствуйте: ведь вы не знаете, когда это время наступит.
