Chapter 13

1 WHEN JESUS went out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, Teacher, behold, look at those stones and those buildings.

2 Jesus said to him, Do you see these great buildings? Not a stone shall be left here upon another stone, which shall not be torn down.

3 While Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives, towards the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him alone,

4 Tell us when these things will happen, and what is the sign when all these things are about to be fulfilled?

5 Then Jesus began to tell them; Be careful that no man deceive you.

6 For many will come in my name, and say, I am he; and they will deceive many.

7 And when you hear of wars and rumors of revolutions, do not be afraid; for this is bound to happen, but the end is not yet.

8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be earthquakes in different places, and there will be famines and uprisings. These things are just the beginning of travail.

9 Look out for yourselves; for they will deliver you to the judges, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; and you will stand before kings and governors for my sake, and as a testimony to them.

10 But my gospel must first be preached among all nations.

11 When they bring you up to deliver you, do not worry beforehand what you will speak; and do not think of anything except what is given you in that very hour; speak that; for it is not you that speak, but the Holy Spirit.

12 A brother will deliver his brother to death, and a father his son; and the children will rise up against their parents, and put them to death.

13 And you will be hated by all men because of my name; but he who has patience to the end, will be saved.

14 But when you see the sign of the refuse of desolation, as spoken by the prophet Daniel, accumulating where it should not be, whoever reads can understand it. Then let those who are in Judaea flee to the mountain;

15 And he who is on the roof, let him not come down, and not enter to take anything out of his house;

16 And he who is in the field, let him not return to take his clothes.

17 But woe to those who are with child, and to those who give suck in those days!

18 Pray that your flight may not be in winter.

19 For in those days there will be suffering, such as has never been from the beginning of the creation, which God created until now, and never will be again.

20 And if the Lord had not shortened those days, no flesh would live; but for the sake of the chosen ones, which he chose, he shortened those days.

21 Then if any man should say to you, Behold, here is the Christ; or, behold, there; do not believe it.

22 For there will rise false Christs, and lying prophets, and they will show signs and wonders, and mislead, if possible, even the chosen ones.

23 But you be careful; behold, I have told you everything in advance.

24 But in those days, after that suffering, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give her light,

25 And the stars will fall down from the sky, and the powers of the universe will be shaken.

26 Then they will see the Son of man coming in the clouds, with a great army and with glory.

27 Then he will send his angels, and gather his chosen ones from the four winds, from the utmost part of the earth to the utmost part of heaven.

28 From the fig tree learn a parable. When its branches become tender and bring forth leaves, you know that summer is coming.

29 So even you, when you see all these things happen, understand that it is near the door.

30 Truly I say to you that this generation will not pass away, until all these things happen.

31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

32 But concerning that day and that hour, no man knows, not even the angels of heaven, neither the Son, except the Father.

33 Look out, be alert and pray; for you do not know when the time is.

34 It is just like a man who went on a journey, and left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to each man his work, and he commanded the porter to keep awake.

35 Be alert therefore, for you do not know when the owner of the house will come, in the evening, or at midnight, or at the cockcrow, or in the morning.

36 He might come suddenly, and find you asleep.

37 What I say to you I say to all of you: Be alert.

1 Когда Иисус выходил из храма, один из Его учеников сказал: «Учитель! Посмотри, какие огромные камни и замечательные здания!»

2 Иисус же ответил ему: «Ты видишь великолепные здания? Здесь камня на камне не останется, всё будет разрушено».

3 Позже, когда Он находился на Елеонской горе, напротив храма, Пётр, Иаков, Иоанн и Андрей спросили Его, находясь наедине с Ним:

4 «Скажи нам, когда это всё случится? Какое знамение будет о том, что это всё исполнится на самом деле?»

5 Тогда Иисус стал говорить им: «Берегитесь, чтобы никто не прельстил вас.

6 Многие будут являться под Моим именем, говоря: „Я — это Он”, и многих прельстят они.

7 Когда вы услышите о сражениях и до вас дойдут рассказы о новых войнах, не тревожьтесь, потому что это должно случиться, но это ещё не конец.

8 Так как народ поднимется против народа и царство — против царства. В различных местах будут землетрясения, и наступит голод. Это будет подобно родовым мукам.

9 Но будьте осторожны, так как преданы будете суду и будут вас бить в синагогах, и вы предстанете перед правителями и царями, чтобы свидетельствовать перед ними обо Мне.

10 Но прежде вы должны нести Благую Весть ко всем народам.

11 И когда бы ни схватили вас и ни повели в суд, не беспокойтесь заранее о том, что сказать, а говорите то, что дано вам будет в тот час, так как не вы будете говорить, а Дух Святой.

12 И брат предаст смерти брата, а отец — своих детей. Дети поднимутся против родителей и отдадут их на смерть.

13 Из-за Меня вас все будут ненавидеть. Но тот, кто выдержит до конца, спасётся.

14 Когда вы увидите „мерзость запустения”, царящую там, где ей не следует (читающий должен понимать, что это значит), тогда те, кто находятся в Иудее, должны бежать в горы.

15 И кто будет на крыше своего дома, не должен спускаться вниз и заходить в дом, чтобы взять что-либо оттуда,

16 а кто будет в поле, пусть не возвращается назад за своей одеждой.

17 Горе будет в те дни беременным и кормящим грудью.

18 Молитесь, чтобы не случилось это зимой.

19 Потому что те дни будут страшным бедствием, какого не случалось ещё со дня сотворения Богом мира и до сегодняшнего дня и после никогда больше не будет.

20 И если бы Господь не сократил те дни, то никто не спасся бы. Но Он сократил их ради избранных Своих.

21 И если кто-нибудь скажет вам: „Смотрите, вот Христос!” или: „Вот Он!” — то не верьте тому человеку,

22 потому что появятся лжехристы и лжепророки и будут являть вам знамения и чудеса, чтобы, если удастся, обмануть избранных.

23 Так что берегитесь, Я предупредил вас.

24 Но в те дни, после того, как случится беда: померкнет солнце, и луна не будет светить,

25 и звёзды будут падать с неба, и Силы Небесные поколеблются.

26 Тогда они увидят Сына Человеческого, идущего в облаках с великой силой и славой.

27 Он пошлёт вперёд Ангелов и соберёт Своих избранных с четырёх сторон света, от края земли до края неба.

28 Берите пример с фигового дерева: когда его ветви становятся мягкими и пускают листья, вы знаете, что лето уже близко.

29 Так и когда вы увидите, что это сбывается, знайте, что День уже близок, он у самых дверей.

30 Правду вам говорю, что живущее ныне поколение не уйдёт, прежде чем всё это произойдёт.

31 Небо и земля исчезнут, но слова Мои останутся.

32 Никто не знает того дня и часа: ни Ангелы на небесах, ни Сын, а лишь один Отец.

33 Берегитесь и будьте всегда готовы, так как вы не знаете, когда наступит это время!

34 Подобно тому как человек, отправляющийся в путешествие, поручает слугам присматривать за своим домом, назначив каждому своё дело, а привратнику приказав бодрствовать.

35 Итак, бодрствуйте, потому что вы не знаете, когда вернётся хозяин домой: вечером ли, в полночь ли или утром, когда взойдёт солнце.

36 Он может возвратиться внезапно, и, если вы всегда бодрствуете, он не застанет вас спящими.

37 И потому вот что Я говорю вам всем и каждому из вас: „Бодрствуйте!”»

4 Tell us when these things will happen, and what is the sign when all these things are about to be fulfilled?	4 «Скажи нам, когда это всё случится? Какое знамение будет о том, что это всё исполнится на самом деле?»

6 For many will come in my name, and say, I am he; and they will deceive many.	6 Многие будут являться под Моим именем, говоря: „Я — это Он”, и многих прельстят они.
7 And when you hear of wars and rumors of revolutions, do not be afraid; for this is bound to happen, but the end is not yet.	7 Когда вы услышите о сражениях и до вас дойдут рассказы о новых войнах, не тревожьтесь, потому что это должно случиться, но это ещё не конец.
8 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be earthquakes in different places, and there will be famines and uprisings. These things are just the beginning of travail.	8 Так как народ поднимется против народа и царство — против царства. В различных местах будут землетрясения, и наступит голод. Это будет подобно родовым мукам.
9 Look out for yourselves; for they will deliver you to the judges, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; and you will stand before kings and governors for my sake, and as a testimony to them.	9 Но будьте осторожны, так как преданы будете суду и будут вас бить в синагогах, и вы предстанете перед правителями и царями, чтобы свидетельствовать перед ними обо Мне.
10 But my gospel must first be preached among all nations.	10 Но прежде вы должны нести Благую Весть ко всем народам.
11 When they bring you up to deliver you, do not worry beforehand what you will speak; and do not think of anything except what is given you in that very hour; speak that; for it is not you that speak, but the Holy Spirit.	11 И когда бы ни схватили вас и ни повели в суд, не беспокойтесь заранее о том, что сказать, а говорите то, что дано вам будет в тот час, так как не вы будете говорить, а Дух Святой.
12 A brother will deliver his brother to death, and a father his son; and the children will rise up against their parents, and put them to death.	12 И брат предаст смерти брата, а отец — своих детей. Дети поднимутся против родителей и отдадут их на смерть.
13 And you will be hated by all men because of my name; but he who has patience to the end, will be saved.	13 Из-за Меня вас все будут ненавидеть. Но тот, кто выдержит до конца, спасётся.
14 But when you see the sign of the refuse of desolation, as spoken by the prophet Daniel, accumulating where it should not be, whoever reads can understand it. Then let those who are in Judaea flee to the mountain;	14 Когда вы увидите „мерзость запустения”, царящую там, где ей не следует (читающий должен понимать, что это значит), тогда те, кто находятся в Иудее, должны бежать в горы.
15 And he who is on the roof, let him not come down, and not enter to take anything out of his house;	15 И кто будет на крыше своего дома, не должен спускаться вниз и заходить в дом, чтобы взять что-либо оттуда,
16 And he who is in the field, let him not return to take his clothes.	16 а кто будет в поле, пусть не возвращается назад за своей одеждой.
17 But woe to those who are with child, and to those who give suck in those days!	17 Горе будет в те дни беременным и кормящим грудью.
18 Pray that your flight may not be in winter.	18 Молитесь, чтобы не случилось это зимой.
19 For in those days there will be suffering, such as has never been from the beginning of the creation, which God created until now, and never will be again.	19 Потому что те дни будут страшным бедствием, какого не случалось ещё со дня сотворения Богом мира и до сегодняшнего дня и после никогда больше не будет.
20 And if the Lord had not shortened those days, no flesh would live; but for the sake of the chosen ones, which he chose, he shortened those days.	20 И если бы Господь не сократил те дни, то никто не спасся бы. Но Он сократил их ради избранных Своих.
21 Then if any man should say to you, Behold, here is the Christ; or, behold, there; do not believe it.	21 И если кто-нибудь скажет вам: „Смотрите, вот Христос!” или: „Вот Он!” — то не верьте тому человеку,

24 But in those days, after that suffering, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give her light,	24 Но в те дни, после того, как случится беда: померкнет солнце, и луна не будет светить,
25 And the stars will fall down from the sky, and the powers of the universe will be shaken.	25 и звёзды будут падать с неба, и Силы Небесные поколеблются.
26 Then they will see the Son of man coming in the clouds, with a great army and with glory.	26 Тогда они увидят Сына Человеческого, идущего в облаках с великой силой и славой.
27 Then he will send his angels, and gather his chosen ones from the four winds, from the utmost part of the earth to the utmost part of heaven.	27 Он пошлёт вперёд Ангелов и соберёт Своих избранных с четырёх сторон света, от края земли до края неба.

30 Truly I say to you that this generation will not pass away, until all these things happen.	30 Правду вам говорю, что живущее ныне поколение не уйдёт, прежде чем всё это произойдёт.
31 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words shall not pass away.	31 Небо и земля исчезнут, но слова Мои останутся.
