Псалом 37

1 Песнь Давида в честь дня памяти.

2 Господи, не накажи меня в гневе и не упрекай, когда сердит.

3 Причиняешь боль мне, Господи, нанёс глубокие Ты раны мне.

4 После наказания Твоего болит у меня всё тело. Согрешил я, и наказал Ты меня, и до самых костей боль пробирает меня.

5 Как тяжкое бремя вина меня гнетёт.

6 Поступил я неразумно, и теперь на мне смердящие, гноящиеся раны.

7 Согнувшийся и поникший, весь день я подавлен.

8 Горю я в лихорадке, всё тело моё болит.

9 Я ничего не чувствую, кроме боли, от боли в сердце всё время стенаю.

10 Господи, слышал Ты стоны мои, вздохи мои от Тебя не скрыты!

11 Колотится сердце, сила моя ушла, я зрение теряю.

12 Так как болен я, друзья и соседи избегают, моя семья, и та сторонится меня.

13 Враги постоянно козни строят, лишь ложь и слухи обо мне разносят.

14 Я словно глухой, что не слышит, я словно немой человек, который слова вымолвить не может.

15 Подобен я тому, кто глух, кто не слышит, что о нём другие говорят. Я не могу возразить своим врагам, и доказать несправедливость их обвинений.

16 Я жду Тебя, Господи Боже, надеюсь, что Ты ответишь и защитишь меня.

17 Поэтому Господу молился я: «Не дай врагам потешаться надо мною, когда от боли изнываю я. Горделивым смеяться не позволь, если случайно оступлюсь и упаду».

18 Я к смерти близок, Господи, и боль моя всегда передо мною.

19 Господи, свои грехи Тебе исповедав, я раскаиваюсь о них и сожалею.

20 Враги же мои сильны и здоровы, только ложь обо мне разносят

21 и злом за добро мне воздают. В помыслах моих лишь добрые поступки, поэтому враги ещё усерднее нападают на меня.

22 Не покидай меня, Боже, молю Тебя, не отдаляйся.

23 Приди на помощь поскорее, Господь, Спаситель мой!

2 For they shall soon4120 be cut5243 down5243 like the grass,2682 and wither5034 as the green3418 herb.1877

3 Trust982 in the LORD,3068 and do6213 good;2896 so shall you dwell7931 in the land,776 and truly530 you shall be fed.7462

4 Delight6026 yourself also in the LORD:3068 and he shall give5414 you the desires4862 of your heart.3820

5 Commit1556 your way1870 to the LORD;3068 trust982 also in him; and he shall bring6213 it to pass.6213

6 And he shall bring3318 forth3318 your righteousness6664 as the light,216 and your judgment4941 as the noonday.6672

7 Rest1826 in the LORD,3068 and wait2342 patiently2342 for him: fret2734 not yourself because of him who prospers6743 in his way,1870 because of the man376 who brings6213 wicked4209 devices4209 to pass.6213

8 Cease7503 from anger,639 and forsake5800 wrath:2534 fret2734 not yourself in any wise to do evil.7489

9 For evildoers7489 shall be cut3772 off: but those that wait6960 on the LORD,3068 they shall inherit3423 the earth.776

10 For yet5750 a little4592 while, and the wicked7563 shall not be: yes, you shall diligently995 consider995 his place,4725 and it shall not be.

11 But the meek6035 shall inherit3423 the earth;776 and shall delight6026 themselves in the abundance7230 of peace.7965

12 The wicked7563 plots2161 against the just,6662 and gnashes2786 on him with his teeth.8127

13 The LORD136 shall laugh7832 at him: for he sees7200 that his day3117 is coming.935

14 The wicked7563 have drawn6605 out the sword,2719 and have bent1869 their bow,7198 to cast5307 down5307 the poor6041 and needy,34 and to slay2873 such as be of upright3477 conversation.1870

15 Their sword2719 shall enter935 into their own heart,3820 and their bows7198 shall be broken.7665

16 A little4592 that a righteous6662 man has is better2896 than the riches1995 of many7227 wicked.7563

17 For the arms2220 of the wicked7563 shall be broken:7665 but the LORD3068 upholds5564 the righteous.6662

18 The LORD3068 knows3045 the days3117 of the upright:8549 and their inheritance5159 shall be for ever.5769

19 They shall not be ashamed954 in the evil7451 time:6256 and in the days3117 of famine7459 they shall be satisfied.7646

20 But the wicked7563 shall perish,6 and the enemies341 of the LORD3068 shall be as the fat3368 of lambs:3733 they shall consume;3615 into smoke6227 shall they consume3615 away.

21 The wicked7563 borrows,3867 and pays7999 not again:7999 but the righteous6662 shows mercy,2603 and gives.5414

22 For such as be blessed1288 of him shall inherit3423 the earth;776 and they that be cursed7043 of him shall be cut3772 off.

23 The steps4703 of a good man1397 are ordered3559 by the LORD:3068 and he delights2654 in his way.1870
