Chapter 10

1 Brothers,80 my heart's2588 desire2107 and prayer1162 to God2316 for Israel2474 is, that they might be saved.4991

2 For I bear3140 them record3140 that they have2192 a zeal2205 of God,2316 but not according2596 to knowledge.1922

3 For they being ignorant50 of God's2316 righteousness,1343 and going2212 about2212 to establish2476 their own2398 righteousness,1343 have2192 not submitted5293 themselves to the righteousness1343 of God.2316

4 For Christ5547 is the end5056 of the law3551 for righteousness1343 to every3956 one3956 that believes.4100

5 For Moses3475 describes1125 the righteousness1343 which3588 is of the law,3551 That the man444 which does4160 those846 things shall live2198 by them.

6 But the righteousness1343 which is of faith4102 speaks3004 on this3779 wise, Say2036 not in your4675 heart,2588 Who5101 shall ascend305 into1519 heaven?3772 (that is, to bring2609 Christ5547 down2609 from above:)

7 Or,2228 Who5101 shall descend2597 into1519 the deep?12 (that is, to bring321 up Christ5547 again321 from the dead.3498)

8 But what5101 said3004 it? The word4487 is near1451 you, even in your mouth,4750 and in your heart:2588 that is, the word4487 of faith,4102 which3739 we preach;2784

9 That if1437 you shall confess3670 with your mouth4750 the Lord2962 Jesus,2424 and shall believe4100 in your4675 heart2588 that God2316 has raised1453 him from the dead,3498 you shall be saved.4982

10 For with the heart2588 man believes4100 to righteousness;1343 and with the mouth4750 confession3670 is made3670 to salvation.4991

11 For the scripture1124 said,3004 Whoever3956 3588 believes4100 on1909 him shall not be ashamed.2617

12 For there is no3756 difference1293 between the Jew2453 and the Greek:1672 for the same846 Lord2962 over all3956 is rich4147 to all3956 that call1941 on him.

13 For whoever3956 shall call1941 on the name3686 of the Lord2962 shall be saved.4982

14 How4459 then3767 shall they call1941 on1941 him in whom3739 they have not believed?4100 and how4459 shall they believe4100 in him of whom3739 they have not heard?191 and how4459 shall they hear191 without5565 a preacher?2784

15 And how5613 shall they preach,2784 except3362 they be sent?649 as it is written,1125 How beautiful5611 are the feet4228 of them that preach2097 the gospel2097 of peace,1515 and bring2097 glad2097 tidings2097 of good18 things!18

16 But they have not all3956 obeyed5219 the gospel.2098 For Esaias2268 said,3004 Lord,2962 who5101 has believed4100 our report?189

17 So686 then686 faith4102 comes by hearing,189 and hearing189 by the word4487 of God.2316

18 But I say,3004 Have they not heard?191 Yes3304 truly,3304 their sound5353 went1831 into1519 all3956 the earth,1093 and their words4487 to the ends4009 of the world.3625

19 But I say,3004 Did not Israel2474 know?1097 First4413 Moses3475 said,3004 I will provoke3863 you to jealousy by them that are no3756 people,1484 and by a foolish801 nation1484 I will anger3949 you.

20 But Esaias2268 is very662 bold,662 and said,3004 I was found2147 of them that sought2212 me not; I was made1096 manifest1717 to them that asked1905 not after1905 me.

21 But to Israel2474 he said,3004 All3650 day2250 long I have stretched1600 forth1600 my hands5495 to a disobedient544 and gainsaying483 people.2992

1 Братья, желание моего сердца и молитва к Богу о них — во спасение.

2 Ибо свидетельствую им, что ревность о Боге они имеют, но не по разумению.

3 Ибо, не зная Божией праведности и стремясь утвердить собственную праведность, они праведности Божией не подчинились.

4 Ибо конец Закона — Христос, к праведности каждого верующего.

5 Ибо Моисей пишет о праведности по Закону, что человек, исполнивший её, жив будет ею.

6 А праведность по вере говорит так: не говори в сердце своем: «кто взойдет на небо?» — чтобы Христа свести.

7 Или: «кто сойдет в бездну?» — чтобы Христа из мёртвых возвести.

8 Но что она говорит? «Близко к тебе слово, в устах твоих и в сердце твоем» — слово, которое мы проповедуем.

9 Потому что, если ты исповедаешь устами твоими Иисуса Господом и уверуешь сердцем, что Бог воздвиг Его из мёртвых, ты будешь спасён.

10 Ибо сердцем веруют к праведности, а устами исповедуют ко спасению.

11 Говорит же Писание: всякий верующий в Него не будет посрамлён.

12 Ибо нет различия между Иудеем и Еллином: ведь Один и Тот же Господь всех, богатый для всех, призывающих Его,

13 Ибо всякий, кто бы ни призвал имя Господне, будет спасён.

14 Как же им призвать Того, в Кого не уверовали? И как им уверовать в Того, о Ком не слышали? И как им услышать без проповедующего?

15 И как им проповедать, не будучи посланными? Как написано: как прекрасны ноги благовествующих благое.

16 Но не все послушались Евангелия. Ибо Исаия говорит: Господи, кто поверил проповеди нашей?

17 Итак, вера — от проповеди, а проповедь — чрез слово о Христе.

18 Но говорю: разве они не слышали? Напротив: Во всю землю прошел голос их и до пределов вселенной слова их.

19 Но говорю: разве Израиль не знал? Моисей первый говорит: Я возбужу в вас ревность не-народом, народом несмысленным раздражу вас.

20 И Исаия дерзновенно говорит: Меня нашли не искавшие Меня, Я открылся не вопрошавшим Меня.

21 К Израилю же Он говорит: целый день Я простирал руки Мои к народу непокорному и строптивому.

10 For with the heart2588 man believes4100 to righteousness;1343 and with the mouth4750 confession3670 is made3670 to salvation.4991

10 Ибо сердцем веруют к праведности, а устами исповедуют ко спасению.

11 For the scripture1124 said,3004 Whoever3956 3588 believes4100 on1909 him shall not be ashamed.2617

11 Говорит же Писание: всякий верующий в Него не будет посрамлён.

12 For there is no3756 difference1293 between the Jew2453 and the Greek:1672 for the same846 Lord2962 over all3956 is rich4147 to all3956 that call1941 on him.

12 Ибо нет различия между Иудеем и Еллином: ведь Один и Тот же Господь всех, богатый для всех, призывающих Его,

13 Ибо всякий, кто бы ни призвал имя Господне, будет спасён.

14 How4459 then3767 shall they call1941 on1941 him in whom3739 they have not believed?4100 and how4459 shall they believe4100 in him of whom3739 they have not heard?191 and how4459 shall they hear191 without5565 a preacher?2784

14 Как же им призвать Того, в Кого не уверовали? И как им уверовать в Того, о Ком не слышали? И как им услышать без проповедующего?
