5 Is not your wickedness7451 great?7227 and your iniquities5771 infinite?369

6 For you have taken2254 a pledge2254 from your brother251 for nothing,2600 and stripped6584 the naked6174 of their clothing.899

7 You have not given water4325 to the weary5889 to drink,8248 and you have withheld4513 bread3899 from the hungry.7456

8 But as for the mighty2220 man,376 he had the earth;776 and the honorable5375 6440 man dwelled3427 in it.

14 Thick clouds5645 are a covering5643 to him, that he sees7200 not; and he walks1980 in the circuit2329 of heaven.8064

18 Yet he filled4390 their houses1004 with good2896 things: but the counsel6098 of the wicked7563 is far7350 from me.

19 The righteous6662 see7200 it, and are glad:8056 and the innocent5355 laugh3932 them to scorn.

20 Whereas518 our substance7009 is not cut3582 down, but the remnant3499 of them the fire784 consumes.398

21 Acquaint5532 now4994 yourself with him, and be at peace:7999 thereby good2896 shall come935 to you.

22 Receive,3947 I pray4994 you, the law8451 from his mouth,6310 and lay7760 up his words561 in your heart.3824

23 If518 you return7725 to the Almighty,7706 you shall be built1129 up, you shall put away7368 iniquity5766 far7350 from your tabernacles.168

24 Then shall you lay7896 up gold1220 as dust,6083 and the gold of Ophir211 as the stones6697 of the brooks.5158

25 Yes, the Almighty7706 shall be your defense,1220 and you shall have plenty8443 of silver.3701

26 For then227 shall you have your delight6026 in the Almighty,7706 and shall lift5375 up your face6440 to God.433

27 You shall make your prayer6279 to him, and he shall hear8085 you, and you shall pay7999 your vows.5088
