8 And that1931 year8141 they vexed7492 and oppressed7533 853 the children1121 of Israel:3478 eighteen8083 6240 years,8141 853 all3605 the children1121 of Israel3478 that834 were on the other side5676 Jordan3383 in the land776 of the Amorites,567 which834 is in Gilead.1568

8 Und sie zertraten und zerschlugen7533 die Kinder1121 Israel3478 von dem Jahr8141 an wohl achtzehn6240 Jahre8141, nämlich alle Kinder1121 Israel3478 jenseit5676 des Jordans3383, im Lande der Amoriter567, das776 in Gilead1568 liegt.

9 Moreover the children1121 of Ammon5983 passed over5674 853 Jordan3383 to fight3898 also1571 against Judah,3063 and against Benjamin,1144 and against the house1004 of Ephraim;669 so that Israel3478 was sore3966 distressed.3334

9 Dazu zogen die Kinder1121 Ammon5983 über5674 den Jordan3383 und stritten3898 wider Juda3063, Benjamin1144 und wider das Haus1004 Ephraim669, also daß Israel3478 sehr3966 geängstet ward3334.

10 And the children1121 of Israel3478 cried2199 unto413 the LORD,3068 saying,559 We have sinned2398 against thee, both because3588 we have forsaken5800 853 our God,430 and also served5647 853 Baalim.1168

10 Da schrieen2199 die Kinder1121 Israel3478 zu dem HErrn3068 und sprachen559: Wir haben2398 an dir gesündiget; denn wir haben5647 unsern GOtt430 verlassen5800 und Baalim1168 gedienet.

11 And the LORD3068 said559 unto3413 the children1121 of Israel,3478 Did not3808 I deliver you from the Egyptians,4480 4714 and from4480 the Amorites,567 from4480 the children1121 of Ammon,5983 and from4480 the Philistines?6430

11 Aber der HErr3068 sprach559 zu den Kindern1121 Israel3478: Haben euch nicht auch gezwungen die Ägypter4714, die Amoriter567, die Kinder1121 Ammon, die Philister6430,

12 The Zidonians6722 also, and the Amalekites,6002 and the Maonites,4584 did oppress3905 you; and ye cried6817 to413 me, and I delivered3467 you out of their hand.4480 3027

12 die Zidonier, die Amalekiter6002 und Maaniter; und ich half3467 euch aus ihren Händen3027, da ihr zu mir schrieet6817?

13 Yet ye859 have forsaken5800 me, and served5647 other312 gods:430 wherefore3651 I will deliver3467 you no3808 more.3254

13 Noch habt ihr mich verlassen5800 und5647 andern312 Göttern430 gedienet; darum will ich euch nicht3254 mehr helfen3467.

14 Go1980 and cry2199 unto413 the gods430 which834 ye have chosen;977 let them1992 deliver3467 you in the time6256 of your tribulation.6869

14 Gehet hin3212 und schreiet2199 die1992 Götter430 an, die ihr erwählet habt977; lasset euch dieselben helfen3467 zur Zeit6256 eurer Trübsal6869!

15 And the children1121 of Israel3478 said559 unto413 the LORD,3068 We have sinned:2398 do6213 thou859 unto us whatsoever3605 seemeth good2896 unto5869 thee; deliver5337 us only,389 we pray thee,4994 this2088 day.3117

15 Aber die Kinder1121 Israel3478 sprachen559 zu dem HErrn3068: Wir haben2398 gesündiget; mache6213 es nur du mit uns, wie2896 dir‘s gefällt5869; allein errette5337 uns zu dieser Zeit3117!

16 And they put away5493 853 the strange5236 gods430 from among4480 7130 them, and served5647 853 the LORD:3068 and his soul5315 was grieved7114 for the misery5999 of Israel.3478

16 Und5647 sie5493 taten von7130 sich die fremden5236 Götter430 und dieneten dem HErrn3068. Und es jammerte7114 ihn5315, daß Israel3478 so geplaget ward5999.

17 Then the children1121 of Ammon5983 were gathered together,6817 and encamped2583 in Gilead.1568 And the children1121 of Israel3478 assembled themselves together,622 and encamped2583 in Mizpeh.4709

17 Und die Kinder1121 Ammon5983 schrieen6817 und lagerten sich2583 in Gilead1568; aber die Kinder1121 Israel3478 versammelten622 sich2583 und lagerten sich zu Mizpa4709.

18 And the people5971 and princes8269 of Gilead1568 said559 one376 to413 another,7453 What4310 man376 is he that834 will begin2490 to fight3898 against the children1121 of Ammon?5983 he shall be1961 head7218 over all3605 the inhabitants3427 of Gilead.1568

18 Und376 das Volk5971 der Obersten8269 zu Gilead1568 sprachen559 untereinander376: Welcher anfähet zu streiten3898 wider die2490 Kinder1121 Ammon5983, der soll das Haupt7218 sein über alle, die in Gilead1568 wohnen3427.
