1 And2532 when3753 they drew nigh1448 unto1519 Jerusalem,2414 and2532 were come2064 to1519 Bethphage,967 unto4314 the3588 mount3735 of Olives,1636 then5119 sent649 Jesus2424 two1417 disciples,3101

2 Saying3004 unto them,846 Go4198 into1519 the3588 village2968 over against561 you,5216 and2532 straightway2112 ye shall find2147 an ass3688 tied,1210 and2532 a colt4454 with3326 her: 846 loose3089 them, and bring71 them unto me.3427

3 And2532 if1437 any5100 man say2036 aught5100 unto you,5213 ye shall say,2046 The3588 Lord2962 hath2192 need5532 of them;846 and2532 straightway2112 he will send649 them.846

4 1161 All3650 this5124 was done,1096 that2443 it might be fulfilled4137 which was spoken4483 by1223 the3588 prophet,4396 saying,3004

5 Tell2036 ye the3588 daughter2364 of Zion,4622 Behold,2400 thy4675 king935 cometh2064 unto thee,4671 meek,4239 and2532 sitting1910 upon1909 an ass,3688 and2532 a colt4454 the foal5207 of an ass.5268

6 And1161 the3588 disciples3101 went,4198 and2532 did4160 as2531 Jesus2424 commanded4367 them,846

7 And brought71 the3588 ass,3688 and2532 the3588 colt,4454 and2532 put2007 on1883 them846 their848 clothes,2440 and2532 they set1940 him thereon.1883 846

8 And1161 a very great4118 multitude3793 spread4766 their1438 garments2440 in1722 the3588 way;3598 1161 others243 cut down2875 branches2798 from575 the3588 trees,1186 and2532 strewed4766 them in1722 the3588 way.3598

9 And1161 the3588 multitudes3793 that went before,4254 and2532 that followed,190 cried,2896 saying,3004 Hosanna5614 to the3588 son5207 of David:1138 Blessed2127 is he that cometh2064 in1722 the name3686 of the Lord;2962 Hosanna5614 in1722 the3588 highest.5310

10 And2532 when he846 was come1525 into1519 Jerusalem,2414 all3956 the3588 city4172 was moved,4579 saying,3004 Who5101 is2076 this?3778

11 And1161 the3588 multitude3793 said,3004 This3778 is2076 Jesus2424 the3588 prophet4396 of575 Nazareth3478 of Galilee.1056

12 And2532 Jesus2424 went1525 into1519 the3588 temple2411 of God,2316 and2532 cast out1544 all3956 them that sold4453 and2532 bought59 in1722 the3588 temple,2411 and2532 overthrew2690 the3588 tables5132 of the3588 moneychangers,2855 and2532 the3588 seats2515 of them that sold4453 doves,4058

13 And2532 said3004 unto them,846 It is written,1125 My3450 house3624 shall be called2564 the house3624 of prayer;4335 but1161 ye5210 have made4160 it846 a den4693 of thieves.3027

14 And2532 the blind5185 and2532 the lame5560 came4334 to him846 in1722 the3588 temple;2411 and2532 he healed2323 them.846

15 And1161 when the3588 chief priests749 and2532 scribes1122 saw1492 the3588 wonderful things2297 that3739 he did,4160 and2532 the3588 children3816 crying2896 in1722 the3588 temple,2411 and2532 saying,3004 Hosanna5614 to the3588 son5207 of David;1138 they were sore displeased,23

16 And2532 said2036 unto him,846 Hearest191 thou what5101 these3778 say?3004 And2532 Jesus2424 saith3004 unto them,846 Yea;3483 have ye never3763 read,314 Out of1537 the mouth4750 of babes3516 and2532 sucklings2337 thou hast perfected2675 praise136

17 And2532 he left2641 them,846 and went1831 out1854 of the3588 city4172 into1519 Bethany;963 and2532 he lodged835 there.1563

18 Now1161 in the morning4405 as he returned1877 into1519 the3588 city,4172 he hungered.3983

19 And2532 when he saw1492 a3391 fig tree4808 in1909 the3588 way,3598 he came2064 to1909 it,846 and2532 found2147 nothing3762 thereon,1722 846 but1508 leaves5444 only,3440 and2532 said3004 unto it,846 Let no fruit2590 grow1096 on1537 thee4675 henceforward3371 forever.1519 165 And2532 presently3916 the3588 fig tree4808 withered away.3583

20 And2532 when the3588 disciples3101 saw1492 it, they marveled,2296 saying,3004 How4459 soon3916 is the3588 fig tree4808 withered away!3583

21 1161 Jesus2424 answered611 and said2036 unto them,846 Verily281 I say3004 unto you,5213 If1437 ye have2192 faith,4102 and2532 doubt1252 not,3361 ye shall not3756 only3440 do4160 this3588 which is done to the3588 fig tree,4808 but235 also if2579 ye shall say2036 unto this5129 mountain,3735 Be thou removed,142 and2532 be thou cast906 into1519 the3588 sea;2281 it shall be done.1096

22 And2532 all things,3956 whatsoever3745 302 ye shall ask154 in1722 prayer,4335 believing,4100 ye shall receive.2983

23 And2532 when he846 was come2064 into1519 the3588 temple,2411 the3588 chief priests749 and2532 the3588 elders4245 of the3588 people2992 came4334 unto him846 as he was teaching,1321 and said,3004 By1722 what4169 authority1849 doest4160 thou these things?5023 and2532 who5101 gave1325 thee4671 this5026 authority?1849

24 And1161 Jesus2424 answered611 and said2036 unto them,846 I also2504 will ask2065 you5209 one1520 thing,3056 which3739 if1437 ye tell2036 me,3427 I in likewise2504 will tell2046 you5213 by1722 what4169 authority1849 I do4160 these things.5023

25 The3588 baptism908 of John,2491 whence4159 was2258 it? from1537 heaven,3772 or2228 of1537 men? And444 1161 they3588 reasoned1260 with3844 themselves,1438 saying,3004 If1437 we shall say,2036 From1537 heaven;3772 he will say2046 unto us,2254 Why1302 did ye not3756 then3767 believe4100 him?846

26 But1161 if1437 we shall say,2036 Of1537 men;444 we fear5399 the3588 people;3793 for1063 all3956 hold2192 John2491 as5613 a prophet.4396

27 And2532 they answered611 Jesus,2424 and said,2036 We cannot tell.1492 3756 And2532 he846 said5346 unto them,846 Neither3761 tell3004 I1473 you5213 by1722 what4169 authority1849 I do4160 these things.5023

28 But1161 what5101 think1380 ye?5213 A certain man444 had2192 two1417 sons;5043 and2532 he came4334 to the3588 first,4413 and said,2036 Son,5043 go5217 work2038 today4594 in1722 my3450 vineyard.290

29 He3588 answered611 and said,2036 I will2309 not: 3756 but1161 afterward5305 he repented,3338 and went.565

30 And2532 he came4334 to the3588 second,1208 and said2036 likewise.5615 And1161 he3588 answered611 and said,2036 I1473 go, sir: 2962 and2532 went565 not.3756

31 Whether5101 of1537 them3588 twain1417 did4160 the3588 will2307 of his father? They3962 say3004 unto him,846 The3588 first.4413 Jesus2424 saith3004 unto them,846 Verily281 I say3004 unto you,5213 That3754 the3588 publicans5057 and2532 the3588 harlots4204 go into the kingdom of God before4254 1519 3588 932 2316 you.5209

32 For1063 John2491 came2064 unto4314 you5209 in1722 the way3598 of righteousness,1343 and2532 ye believed4100 him846 not;3756 but1161 the3588 publicans5057 and2532 the3588 harlots4204 believed4100 him: 846 and1161 ye,5210 when ye had seen1492 it, repented3338 not3756 afterward,5305 that ye might believe4100 him.846

33 Hear191 another243 parable: 3850 There was2258 a certain5100 householder,3617 which3748 planted5452 a vineyard,290 and2532 hedged it round about,4060 846 5418 and2532 digged3736 a winepress3025 in1722 it,846 and2532 built3618 a tower,4444 and2532 let it out1554 846 to husbandmen,1092 and2532 went into a far country: 589

34 And1161 when3753 the3588 time2540 of the3588 fruit2590 drew near,1448 he sent649 his848 servants1401 to4314 the3588 husbandmen,1092 that they might receive2983 the3588 fruits2590 of it.846

35 And2532 the3588 husbandmen1092 took2983 his846 servants,1401 and beat1194 one,3739 3303 and1161 killed615 another,3739 and1161 stoned3036 another.3739

36 Again,3825 he sent649 other243 servants1401 more4119 than the3588 first: 4413 and2532 they did4160 unto them846 likewise.5615

37 But1161 last5305 of all he sent649 unto4314 them846 his848 son,5207 saying,3004 They will reverence1788 my3450 son.5207

38 But1161 when the3588 husbandmen1092 saw1492 the3588 son,5207 they said2036 among1722 themselves,1438 This3778 is2076 the3588 heir;2818 come,1205 let us kill615 him,846 and2532 let us seize on2722 his846 inheritance.2817

39 And2532 they caught2983 him,846 and2532 cast1544 him out1854 of the3588 vineyard,290 and2532 slew615 him.

40 When3752 the3588 lord2962 therefore3767 of the3588 vineyard290 cometh,2064 what5101 will he do4160 unto those1565 husbandmen?1092

41 They say3004 unto him,846 He will miserably2560 destroy622 those846 wicked men,2556 and2532 will let out1554 his vineyard290 unto other243 husbandmen,1092 which3748 shall render591 him846 the3588 fruits2590 in1722 their846 seasons.2540

42 Jesus2424 saith3004 unto them,846 Did ye never3763 read314 in1722 the3588 Scriptures,1124 The stone3037 which3739 the3588 builders3618 rejected,593 the same3778 is become1096 the1519 head2776 of the corner: 1137 this3778 is1096 the Lord's doing,3844 2962 and2532 it is2076 marvelous2298 in1722 our2257 eyes?3788

43 Therefore1223 5124 say3004 I unto you,5213 The3588 kingdom932 of God2316 shall be taken142 from575 you,5216 and2532 given1325 to a nation1484 bringing forth4160 the3588 fruits2590 thereof.846

44 And2532 whosoever shall fall4098 on1909 this5126 stone3037 shall be broken: 4917 but1161 on1909 whomsoever3739 302 it shall fall,4098 it will grind him to powder.3039 846

45 And2532 when the3588 chief priests749 and2532 Pharisees5330 had heard191 his846 parables,3850 they perceived1097 that3754 he spake3004 of4012 them.846

46 But2532 when they sought2212 to lay hands2902 on him,846 they feared5399 the3588 multitude,3793 because1894 they took2192 him846 for5613 a prophet.4396

Matthew

Chapter 21

1 WHEN he came near to Jerusalem, he came to Bethphage on the side of the Mount of Olives. Jesus then sent two of his disciples,

2 And he said to them, Go to that village which is in front of you, and straightway you will find an ass which is tied up, and a colt with her; untie them and bring them to me.

3 And if any man should say anything to you, tell him that our Lord needs them; and he will immediately send them here.

4 All this happened, so that what was said by the prophet, might be fulfilled, who said,

5 Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold your king is coming to you, meek, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt, the foal of an ass.

6 And the disciples went and did as Jesus had commanded them.

7 And they brought the ass and the colt, and they put their garments on the colt, and Jesus rode on it.

8 And a great many people spread their garments on the road; and others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road.

9 And the people who were going before him and coming after him, were shouting and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

10 When he entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred up, and they were saying, Who is this man?

11 And the people were saying. This is the prophet, Jesus, from Nazareth in Galilee.

12 And Jesus entered into the temple of God, and put out all who were buying and selling in the temple, and he overturned the trays of the money-changers and the stands of those who sold doves.

13 And he said to them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but you have made it a bandits' cave.

14 And in the temple they brought to him the blind and the lame, and he healed them.

15 But when the high priests and the Pharisees saw the wonders that he did, and the boys who were crying aloud in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David, they were displeased.

16 And they said to him, Do you hear what they are saying? Jesus said to them, Yes; have you never read, From the mouth of little children and of boys you made praise?

17 And he left them, and went outside of the city to Bethany, and he lodged there.

18 In the morning, as he returned to the city, he became hungry.

19 And he saw a fig tree on the roadside, and he came to it and found nothing on it except leaves; and he said to it, Let there be no fruit on you again for ever. And shortly the fig tree withered.

20 When the disciples saw it, they were amazed and said, How is it that the fig tree has withered so soon?

21 Jesus answered and said to them, Truly I say to you, If you have faith, and do not doubt, you will perform a deed not only like this of the fig tree, but should you say even to this mountain, Be removed and fall into the sea, it shall be done.

22 And everything that you will ask in prayer and believe, you shall receive.

23 When Jesus came to the temple, the high priests and the elders of the people came up to him, while he was teaching, and said to him, By what authority do you do these things? and who gave you this authority?

24 Jesus answered and said to them, I will also ask you a word, and if you tell me, I will then tell you by what authority I do these things.

25 Whence is the baptism of John? Is it from heaven, or from men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we should say from heaven, he will say to us, Why then did you not believe him?

26 And if we should say, from men, we are afraid of the people, for all of them regard John as a prophet.

27 So they answered and said to him, We do not know. Jesus said to them, Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.

28 What do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first one and said to him, My son, go and work today in the vineyard.

29 He answered and said, I do not want to, but later he regretted and went.

30 And he came to the other one and said to him likewise. And he answered and said, Here am I, my Lord, and yet he did not go.

31 Which of these two did the will of his father? They said to him, The first one. Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you, that even the publicans and the harlots will precede you into the kingdom of God.

32 For John came to you in a righteousness way, and you did not believe him; but the publicans and the harlots believed him; but you, even though you saw, did not repent, so that later you may believe him.

33 Hear another parable. There was a man who was a householder, and he planted a vineyard, and fenced it, and he dug in it a winepress, and built a tower, and then he leased it to laborers, and went away on a journey.

34 And when the fruit season was at hand, he sent his servants to the laborers, that they might send him of the fruits of his vineyard.

35 And the laborers seized his servants, and some were beaten, and some were stoned, and some were killed.

36 Again he sent other servants, many more than the first; and they did likewise to them.

37 At last he sent his son to them, saying, They might feel ashamed before my son.

38 But when the laborers saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him and retain his inheritance.

39 So they seized him, and took him out of the vineyard, and killed him.

40 When therefore the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those laborers?

41 They said to him, He will destroy them severely, and lease his vineyard to other laborers, who will give him fruits in their seasons.

42 Jesus said to them, Have you never read in the scripture, The stone which the builders rejected, the same became the cornerstone; this was from the Lord, and it is a marvel in our eyes?

43 Therefore I say to you, that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you, and will be given to a people who bear fruits.

44 And whoever falls on this stone will be broken, and on whomever it falls it will scatter him.

45 When the high priests and Pharisees heard his parables, they understood that he was speaking against them.

46 So they wanted to arrest him, but they were afraid of the people, because they regarded him as a prophet.

1 And2532 when3753 they drew nigh1448 unto1519 Jerusalem,2414 and2532 were come2064 to1519 Bethphage,967 unto4314 the3588 mount3735 of Olives,1636 then5119 sent649 Jesus2424 two1417 disciples,3101

1 WHEN he came near to Jerusalem, he came to Bethphage on the side of the Mount of Olives. Jesus then sent two of his disciples,

2 And he said to them, Go to that village which is in front of you, and straightway you will find an ass which is tied up, and a colt with her; untie them and bring them to me.

4 All this happened, so that what was said by the prophet, might be fulfilled, who said,

5 Tell2036 ye the3588 daughter2364 of Zion,4622 Behold,2400 thy4675 king935 cometh2064 unto thee,4671 meek,4239 and2532 sitting1910 upon1909 an ass,3688 and2532 a colt4454 the foal5207 of an ass.5268

5 Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold your king is coming to you, meek, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt, the foal of an ass.

6 And1161 the3588 disciples3101 went,4198 and2532 did4160 as2531 Jesus2424 commanded4367 them,846

6 And the disciples went and did as Jesus had commanded them.

7 And brought71 the3588 ass,3688 and2532 the3588 colt,4454 and2532 put2007 on1883 them846 their848 clothes,2440 and2532 they set1940 him thereon.1883 846

7 And they brought the ass and the colt, and they put their garments on the colt, and Jesus rode on it.

8 And1161 a very great4118 multitude3793 spread4766 their1438 garments2440 in1722 the3588 way;3598 1161 others243 cut down2875 branches2798 from575 the3588 trees,1186 and2532 strewed4766 them in1722 the3588 way.3598

8 And a great many people spread their garments on the road; and others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road.

9 And the people who were going before him and coming after him, were shouting and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

10 And2532 when he846 was come1525 into1519 Jerusalem,2414 all3956 the3588 city4172 was moved,4579 saying,3004 Who5101 is2076 this?3778

10 When he entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred up, and they were saying, Who is this man?

11 And1161 the3588 multitude3793 said,3004 This3778 is2076 Jesus2424 the3588 prophet4396 of575 Nazareth3478 of Galilee.1056

11 And the people were saying. This is the prophet, Jesus, from Nazareth in Galilee.

12 And Jesus entered into the temple of God, and put out all who were buying and selling in the temple, and he overturned the trays of the money-changers and the stands of those who sold doves.

13 And2532 said3004 unto them,846 It is written,1125 My3450 house3624 shall be called2564 the house3624 of prayer;4335 but1161 ye5210 have made4160 it846 a den4693 of thieves.3027

13 And he said to them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but you have made it a bandits' cave.

14 And2532 the blind5185 and2532 the lame5560 came4334 to him846 in1722 the3588 temple;2411 and2532 he healed2323 them.846

14 And in the temple they brought to him the blind and the lame, and he healed them.

15 But when the high priests and the Pharisees saw the wonders that he did, and the boys who were crying aloud in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David, they were displeased.

16 And they said to him, Do you hear what they are saying? Jesus said to them, Yes; have you never read, From the mouth of little children and of boys you made praise?

17 And2532 he left2641 them,846 and went1831 out1854 of the3588 city4172 into1519 Bethany;963 and2532 he lodged835 there.1563

17 And he left them, and went outside of the city to Bethany, and he lodged there.

18 Now1161 in the morning4405 as he returned1877 into1519 the3588 city,4172 he hungered.3983

18 In the morning, as he returned to the city, he became hungry.

19 And he saw a fig tree on the roadside, and he came to it and found nothing on it except leaves; and he said to it, Let there be no fruit on you again for ever. And shortly the fig tree withered.

20 And2532 when the3588 disciples3101 saw1492 it, they marveled,2296 saying,3004 How4459 soon3916 is the3588 fig tree4808 withered away!3583

20 When the disciples saw it, they were amazed and said, How is it that the fig tree has withered so soon?

21 1161 Jesus2424 answered611 and said2036 unto them,846 Verily281 I say3004 unto you,5213 If1437 ye have2192 faith,4102 and2532 doubt1252 not,3361 ye shall not3756 only3440 do4160 this3588 which is done to the3588 fig tree,4808 but235 also if2579 ye shall say2036 unto this5129 mountain,3735 Be thou removed,142 and2532 be thou cast906 into1519 the3588 sea;2281 it shall be done.1096

21 Jesus answered and said to them, Truly I say to you, If you have faith, and do not doubt, you will perform a deed not only like this of the fig tree, but should you say even to this mountain, Be removed and fall into the sea, it shall be done.

22 And2532 all things,3956 whatsoever3745 302 ye shall ask154 in1722 prayer,4335 believing,4100 ye shall receive.2983

22 And everything that you will ask in prayer and believe, you shall receive.

23 When Jesus came to the temple, the high priests and the elders of the people came up to him, while he was teaching, and said to him, By what authority do you do these things? and who gave you this authority?

24 And1161 Jesus2424 answered611 and said2036 unto them,846 I also2504 will ask2065 you5209 one1520 thing,3056 which3739 if1437 ye tell2036 me,3427 I in likewise2504 will tell2046 you5213 by1722 what4169 authority1849 I do4160 these things.5023

24 Jesus answered and said to them, I will also ask you a word, and if you tell me, I will then tell you by what authority I do these things.

25 Whence is the baptism of John? Is it from heaven, or from men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we should say from heaven, he will say to us, Why then did you not believe him?

26 But1161 if1437 we shall say,2036 Of1537 men;444 we fear5399 the3588 people;3793 for1063 all3956 hold2192 John2491 as5613 a prophet.4396

26 And if we should say, from men, we are afraid of the people, for all of them regard John as a prophet.

27 And2532 they answered611 Jesus,2424 and said,2036 We cannot tell.1492 3756 And2532 he846 said5346 unto them,846 Neither3761 tell3004 I1473 you5213 by1722 what4169 authority1849 I do4160 these things.5023

27 So they answered and said to him, We do not know. Jesus said to them, Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.

28 But1161 what5101 think1380 ye?5213 A certain man444 had2192 two1417 sons;5043 and2532 he came4334 to the3588 first,4413 and said,2036 Son,5043 go5217 work2038 today4594 in1722 my3450 vineyard.290

28 What do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first one and said to him, My son, go and work today in the vineyard.

29 He3588 answered611 and said,2036 I will2309 not: 3756 but1161 afterward5305 he repented,3338 and went.565

29 He answered and said, I do not want to, but later he regretted and went.

30 And2532 he came4334 to the3588 second,1208 and said2036 likewise.5615 And1161 he3588 answered611 and said,2036 I1473 go, sir: 2962 and2532 went565 not.3756

30 And he came to the other one and said to him likewise. And he answered and said, Here am I, my Lord, and yet he did not go.

31 Which of these two did the will of his father? They said to him, The first one. Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you, that even the publicans and the harlots will precede you into the kingdom of God.

32 For John came to you in a righteousness way, and you did not believe him; but the publicans and the harlots believed him; but you, even though you saw, did not repent, so that later you may believe him.

33 Hear another parable. There was a man who was a householder, and he planted a vineyard, and fenced it, and he dug in it a winepress, and built a tower, and then he leased it to laborers, and went away on a journey.

34 And1161 when3753 the3588 time2540 of the3588 fruit2590 drew near,1448 he sent649 his848 servants1401 to4314 the3588 husbandmen,1092 that they might receive2983 the3588 fruits2590 of it.846

34 And when the fruit season was at hand, he sent his servants to the laborers, that they might send him of the fruits of his vineyard.

35 And2532 the3588 husbandmen1092 took2983 his846 servants,1401 and beat1194 one,3739 3303 and1161 killed615 another,3739 and1161 stoned3036 another.3739

35 And the laborers seized his servants, and some were beaten, and some were stoned, and some were killed.

36 Again,3825 he sent649 other243 servants1401 more4119 than the3588 first: 4413 and2532 they did4160 unto them846 likewise.5615

36 Again he sent other servants, many more than the first; and they did likewise to them.

37 But1161 last5305 of all he sent649 unto4314 them846 his848 son,5207 saying,3004 They will reverence1788 my3450 son.5207

37 At last he sent his son to them, saying, They might feel ashamed before my son.

38 But when the laborers saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him and retain his inheritance.

39 And2532 they caught2983 him,846 and2532 cast1544 him out1854 of the3588 vineyard,290 and2532 slew615 him.

39 So they seized him, and took him out of the vineyard, and killed him.

40 When3752 the3588 lord2962 therefore3767 of the3588 vineyard290 cometh,2064 what5101 will he do4160 unto those1565 husbandmen?1092

40 When therefore the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those laborers?

41 They say3004 unto him,846 He will miserably2560 destroy622 those846 wicked men,2556 and2532 will let out1554 his vineyard290 unto other243 husbandmen,1092 which3748 shall render591 him846 the3588 fruits2590 in1722 their846 seasons.2540

41 They said to him, He will destroy them severely, and lease his vineyard to other laborers, who will give him fruits in their seasons.

42 Jesus said to them, Have you never read in the scripture, The stone which the builders rejected, the same became the cornerstone; this was from the Lord, and it is a marvel in our eyes?

43 Therefore1223 5124 say3004 I unto you,5213 The3588 kingdom932 of God2316 shall be taken142 from575 you,5216 and2532 given1325 to a nation1484 bringing forth4160 the3588 fruits2590 thereof.846

43 Therefore I say to you, that the kingdom of God will be taken away from you, and will be given to a people who bear fruits.

44 And2532 whosoever shall fall4098 on1909 this5126 stone3037 shall be broken: 4917 but1161 on1909 whomsoever3739 302 it shall fall,4098 it will grind him to powder.3039 846

44 And whoever falls on this stone will be broken, and on whomever it falls it will scatter him.

45 And2532 when the3588 chief priests749 and2532 Pharisees5330 had heard191 his846 parables,3850 they perceived1097 that3754 he spake3004 of4012 them.846

45 When the high priests and Pharisees heard his parables, they understood that he was speaking against them.

46 But2532 when they sought2212 to lay hands2902 on him,846 they feared5399 the3588 multitude,3793 because1894 they took2192 him846 for5613 a prophet.4396

46 So they wanted to arrest him, but they were afraid of the people, because they regarded him as a prophet.
