Jeremiah

Chapter 32

1 THE word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD in the tenth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, which was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadnezzar.

2 For then the army of the king of Babylon was besieging Jerusalem; and Jeremiah the prophet was shut up in the court of the guard, which was in the king of Judah's house.

3 For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up, saying, Why do you prophesy and say, Thus says the LORD: Behold, I will deliver this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it;

4 And Zedekiah king of Judah shall not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans, but shall surely be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon, and shall speak with him face to face, and they shall see each other eye to eye;

5 And he shall take Zedekiah to Babylon, and there shall he be until I visit him, says the LORD; though you fight with the Chaldeans, you shall not win.

6 And the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,

7 Behold, Nahmael the son of Shallum your uncle is coming to you, saying, Buy my field which is at Anathoth, which is in the land of Benjamin; for the right of redemption is yours to buy it.

8 So Nahmael my uncle's son came to me in the court of the guard according to the word of the LORD, and said to me, Buy my field which is at Anathoth, which is in the land of Benjamin; for the right of inheritance is yours, and the redemption is yours; buy it for yourself. Then I knew that this was the word of the LORD.

9 And I bought the field of Nahmael my uncle's son, which was in Anathoth, and weighed him the money, even seventeen shekels of silver.

10 And I wrote the deed, and sealed it and called witnesses, and weighed him the money in the scales.

11 Then I took the deed of purchase, both that which was duly sealed according to law and a copy which was not sealed;

12 And I gave the deed of the purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, the son of Maasiah, in the sight of Nahmael my uncle's son and in the presence of the witnesses whose names were written on the deed of purchase and in the presence of all the Jews who were seated in the court of the guard.

13 And I charged Baruch in their presence, saying,

14 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Take these deeds, both this deed of purchase which is sealed and this deed which is not sealed; and put them in an earthen vessel, so that they may be preserved for a long time.

15 For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Houses and fields and vineyards shall be bought again in this land.

16 Now after I had given the deeds of purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed to the LORD, saying,

17 Ah, LORD God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and by thy stretched out arm, and there is nothing hidden from thee;

18 Thou showest lovingkindness to thousands of generations, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers to the bosom of their children after them; thou art the Great God, the Mighty and Revered, the LORD of hosts is his name,

19 Great in counsel and mighty in work, whose eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men, to give every one according to his ways and according to the fruit of his doings.

20 For thou didst perform great signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even to this day and in Israel and among other men; and hast made thee a name, as at this day;

21 And hast brought forth thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs and with wonders and with a strong hand and with a stretched out arm and with a great spectacle;

22 And hast given them this land, which thou didst swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey;

23 And they came in and possessed it; but they did not obey thy voice, neither walked in thy law; they did nothing of all that thou didst command them to do; therefore all this evil has come upon them.

24 Behold the siege ramparts are come against this city to take it; and because of sword and of famine and of pestilence the city is delivered into the hand of the Chaldeans, who are fighting against it; and what thou hast spoken is come to pass; and, behold, I see it.

25 And thou, O LORD God, hast said to me, Buy the field for money, and call witnesses; and, behold the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.

26 Then came the word of the LORD to Jeremiah, saying,

27 I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is there anything hidden from me?

28 Therefore thus says the LORD: Behold, I will deliver this city into the hand of the Chaldeans and into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he shall take it;

29 And the Chaldeans shall come and fight against this city, and shall uproot this city and set fire to it, together with the houses upon whose roofs the people have offered incense to Baal and poured out drink offerings to other gods to provoke me to anger.

30 For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have done only that which is evil before me from their youth; for the children of Israel have always provoked me to anger with the work of their hands, says the LORD.

31 And because of them my anger and fury have come upon this city from the day that they built it even to this day; so that I may remove it from before my face,

32 Because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger, they, their kings, their princes, their priests and their prophets and the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

33 And they have turned to me their backs and not their faces; though I have taught them, warning them in advance, yet they would not listen to receive instruction.

34 But they set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to defile it.

35 And they built the high places of Baal in Taphat, which is in the valley of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters as offerings to Molech; which I did not command them, nor did it come into my mind that they should do this abomination to cause Judah to sin.

36 And now therefore thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning this city, of which you say, It shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by sword and by famine and by pestilence;

37 Behold, I will gather them from all the lands to which I have driven them in my anger and in my fury and great wrath; and I will bring them back to this country, and I will cause them to dwell in safety;

38 And they shall be my people, and I will be their God;

39 And I will give them a new heart and a new spirit, that they may worship before me for ever; and it shall be good to them and to their children after them:

40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them to do them good: and I will put my reverence in their hearts, that they may not go astray from me.

41 Yea, I will cause them to rejoice, and good shall come to them, and I will plant them in this land in truth, with my whole heart and with my whole soul.

42 For thus says the LORD: Just as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring them all the good that I promise them.

43 And fields shall be bought in this land, of which you say, It is desolate, without man and beast; and it is delivered into the hand of the Chaldeans.

44 Men shall buy fields for money, and write deeds and seal them and call witnesses in the land of Benjamin and in the places about Jerusalem and in the cities of Judah and in the cities of the mountains and in the cities of the valleys and in the cities of the south; for I will bring them back from their captivity, says the LORD.

2 Dazumal belagerte6696 das Heer2428 des Königs4428 zu Babel894 Jerusalem3389. Aber der Prophet5030 Jeremia3414 lag gefangen3607 im Vorhofe2691 des Gefängnisses4307 am Hause1004 des Königs4428 Judas,

3 dahin Zedekia6667, der König4428 Judas, ihn hatte559 lassen verschließen3607 und gesagt559: Warum weissagest du und sprichst: So spricht der HErr3068: Siehe, ich gebe5414 diese Stadt5892 in die Hände3027 des Königs4428 zu Babel894, und er soll sie559 gewinnen3920,

4 und Zedekia6667, der König4428 Judas, soll7200 den Chaldäern3778 nicht entrinnen4422, sondern ich will ihn3027 dem Könige4428 zu Babel894 in die Hände3027 geben5414, daß6310 er5414 mündlich6310 mit ihm reden1696 und mit seinen Augen5869 ihn5869 sehen soll;

5 und er wird6485 Zedekia6667 gen Babel894 führen, da soll er auch bleiben, bis daß ich ihn heimsuche, spricht5002 der HErr3068; denn ob ihr schon wider die Chaldäer3778 streitet3898, soll euch3212 doch nichts gelingen6743.

6 Und Jeremia3414 sprach559: Es ist des HErrn3068 Wort1697 geschehen zu mir und spricht559:

7 Siehe, Hanameel2601, der Sohn1121 Sallums7967, deines Vetters1730, kommt935 zu dir und wird sagen559: Lieber, kaufe7069 du meinen Acker7704 zu Anathoth6068; denn du hast7069 das nächste1353 Freundrecht4941 dazu, daß du ihn kaufen sollst.

8 Also kam935 Hanameel2601, meines Vetters1730 Sohn1121, wie4941 der HErr3068 gesagt559 hatte7069, zu mir vor den Hof2691 des Gefängnisses4307 und sprach zu mir: Lieber, kaufe7069 meinen Acker7704 zu Anathoth6068, der im Lande776 Benjamin1144 liegt; denn du hast1697 Erbrecht dazu und du bist der Nächste1353; Lieber, kaufe ihn! Da merkte3045 ich, daß es des HErrn3068 Wort1697 wäre,

9 und kaufte7069 den Acker7704 von Hanameel2601, meines Vetters1730 Sohn1121, zu Anathoth6068 und wog8254 ihm das Geld3701 dar, sieben Sekel und zehn6235 Silberlinge3701,

10 und5707 schrieb3789 einen Brief5612 und versiegelte2856 ihn und nahm Zeugen5749 dazu und wog8254 das Geld3701 dar auf einer Waage3976.

11 Und nahm3947 zu mir1540 den versiegelten2856 Kaufbrief5612 nach dem Recht4687 und Gewohnheit2706 und eine offene Abschrift

12 und1121 gab5414 den Kaufbrief5612 Baruch1263, dem5869 Sohn1121 Nerias5374, des Sohns Mahasejas, in Gegenwart Hanameels2601, meines Vetters1730, und5869 der Zeugen5707, die3427 im Kaufbriefe geschrieben3789 stunden, und aller Juden3064, die am Hofe2691 des Gefängnisses4307 wohneten,

13 und befahl6680 Baruch1263 vor ihren Augen5869 und sprach559:

14 So spricht der HErr3068 Zebaoth6635, der GOtt430 Israels3478: Nimm3947 diese Briefe5612, den versiegelten2856 Kaufbrief5612 samt dieser offenen1540 Abschrift und5414 lege sie559 in ein irden Gefäß3627, daß3117 sie5612 lange7227 bleiben5975 mögen.

15 Denn so spricht der HErr3068 Zebaoth6635, der GOtt430 Israels3478: Noch soll man559 Häuser1004, Äcker7704 und Weinberge3754 kaufen7069 in diesem Lande776.

16 Und da310 ich den Kaufbrief5612 hatte Baruch1263, dem Sohn1121 Nerias5374, gegeben5414, betete6419 ich zum HErrn3068 und sprach559:

17 Ach162, HErr136 HErr3069, siehe, du hast1697 Himmel8064 und Erde776 gemacht6213 durch deine große1419 Kraft3581 und durch deinen ausgestreckten5186 Arm2220, und ist6381 kein Ding vor dir unmöglich;

18 der du2617 wohltust viel Tausenden505 und6213 vergiltst7999 die8034 Missetat5771 der Väter1 in den Busen2436 ihrer Kinder1121 nach310 ihnen, du großer1419 und3068 starker GOtt410; HErr1368 Zebaoth6635 ist dein Name;

19 groß1419 von Rat6098 und5414 mächtig von Tat5950; und deine Augen5869 stehen offen6491 über alle7227 Wege1870 der120 Menschenkinder1121, daß du einem jeglichen376 gebest nach seinem Wandel4611 und nach der Frucht6529 seines Wesens1870;

21 und hast dein Volk5971 Israel3478 aus3318 Ägyptenland776 geführet durch Zeichen226 und Wunder4159, durch eine mächtige2389 Hand3027, durch ausgestreckten Arm248 und durch groß5186 Schrecken4172

22 und hast ihnen dies Land776 gegeben5414, welches du ihren Vätern1 geschworen7650 hattest, daß du es ihnen geben5414 wolltest, ein Land776, da Milch2461 und Honig1706 innen fleußt,

23 und3423 da sie6680 hineinkamen und6213 es besaßen, gehorchten sie deiner Stimme6963 nicht7451, wandelten1980 auch nicht nach deinem Gesetze8451, und6213 alles, was du8085 ihnen gebotest, daß sie tun935 sollten, das ließen sie, darum du auch ihnen all dies Unglück ließest widerfahren7122:

24 Siehe5550, diese Stadt5892 ist935 belagert, daß sie gewonnen3920 und5892 vor6440 Schwert2719, Hunger7458 und Pestilenz1698 in der Chaldäer3778 Hände3027, welche wider sie streiten3898, gegeben5414 werden7200 muß; und wie du geredet hast1696, so gehet es, das siehest du;

25 und5707 du559, HErr136 HErr3069, sprichst zu mir: Kaufe7069 du einen Acker7704 um Geld3701 und nimm Zeugen5749 dazu, so doch die Stadt5892 in der Chaldäer3778 Hände3027 gegeben5414 wird?

26 Und des HErrn3068 Wort1697 geschah zu Jeremia3414 und sprach559:

27 Siehe, ich, der HErr3068, bin ein GOtt430 alles1697 Fleisches1320. Sollte mir etwas unmöglich sein6381?

28 Darum so spricht der HErr3068 also: Siehe, ich gebe5414 diese Stadt5892 in der Chaldäer3778 Hände3027 und in die Hand3027 Nebukadnezars5019, des Königs4428 zu Babel894; und er soll sie559 gewinnen3920.

29 Und5892 die Chaldäer3778 so wider diese Stadt5892 streiten3898, werden8313 hereinkommen935 und430 sie mit Feuer784 anstecken und verbrennen3341 samt den Häusern1004, da sie auf den Dächern1406 Baal1168 geräuchert6999 und andern312 Göttern Trankopfer5262 geopfert haben5258, auf daß sie mich erzürneten.

30 Denn die Kinder1121 Israel3478 und die Kinder1121 Juda3063 haben von ihrer Jugend5271 auf getan6213, das4639 mir übel7451 gefällt5869, und die Kinder1121 Israel3478 haben mich erzürnet3707 durch ihrer Hände3027 Werk, spricht5002 der HErr3068.

31 Denn seit der Zeit3117 diese Stadt5892 gebauet ist, bis auf6440 diesen Tag3117, hat1129 sie5493 mich zornig und grimmig2534 gemacht, daß ich sie muß von meinem Angesicht639 wegtun

32 um all der Bosheit7451 willen der Kinder1121 Israel3478 und3548 der Kinder1121 Juda3063, die sie getan6213 haben3707, daß sie mich erzürneten. Sie, ihre Könige4428, Fürsten8269, Priester und376 Propheten5030, und die in Juda3063 und Jerusalem3389 wohnen3427,

33 haben mir6440 den Rücken6203 und nicht4148 das Angesicht6437 zugekehret, wiewohl ich sie3925 stets lehren3925 ließ; aber sie3947 wollten nicht hören8085 noch sich7925 bessern.

34 Dazu haben sie7121 ihre Greuel8251 in das Haus1004 gesetzt7760, das von mir den Namen8034 hat, daß sie es verunreinigten2930,

35 und1121 haben2398 die Höhen1116 des Baal1168 gebauet im Tal1516 Ben-Hinnom2011, daß sie1129 ihre Söhne1121 und Töchter1323 dem Moloch4432 verbrenneten, davon ich ihnen nichts befohlen habe6213, und ist mir nie in Sinn kommen5674, daß sie6680 solchen Greuel8441 tun5927 sollten, damit sie3820 Juda3063 also zu Sünden brächten.

36 Und nun, um deswillen spricht559 der HErr3068, der GOtt430 Israels3478, also von dieser Stadt5892, davon ihr saget, daß sie559 werde vor Schwert2719, Hunger7458 und Pestilenz1698 in die Hände3027 des Königs4428 zu Babel894 gegeben5414:

37 Siehe, ich will7725 sie sammeln6908 aus allen Landen776, dahin ich sie verstoße5080 durch meinen großen1419 Zorn639, Grimm2534 und Unbarmherzigkeit, und will sie wiederum an diesen Ort4725 bringen, daß sie sollen sicher983 wohnen3427.

38 Und sie sollen mein Volk5971 sein, so will ich ihr GOtt430 sein

39 und will ihnen einerlei259 Herz3820 und Wesen geben5414, daß sie mich fürchten3372 sollen ihr1870 Leben lang3117, auf daß ihnen und ihren Kindern1121 nach310 ihnen wohlgehe.

40 Und will7725 einen ewigen5769 Bund1285 mit ihnen machen3772, daß ich nicht will3190 ablassen, ihnen Gutes zu tun, und will ihnen meine Furcht3374 ins Herz3824 geben5414, daß sie5493 nicht von mir310 weichen.

41 Und soll meine Lust sein7797, daß ich ihnen Gutes tun2895 soll; und ich will sie in diesem Lande776 pflanzen5193, treulich571, von ganzem Herzen3820 und von ganzer See LE5315.

42 Denn so spricht der HErr3068: Gleichwie ich über dies Volk5971 habe1696 kommen935 lassen all dies große1419 Unglück7451, also will935 ich auch alles Gute2896 über sie559 kommen lassen, das ich ihnen geredet habe.

43 Und559 sollen noch Äcker7704 gekauft7069 werden in diesem Lande776, davon ihr saget, es werde wüst8077 liegen, daß weder Leute120 noch Vieh929 drinnen bleibe, und werde in der Chaldäer3778 Hände3027 gegeben5414.

44 Dennoch wird man Äcker7704 um7725 Geld3701 kaufen7069 und5612 verbriefen3789, versiegeln2856 und5707 bezeugen5749 im Lande776 Benjamin1144 und um Jerusalem3389 her5439 und in den Städten5892 Judas, in Städten5892 auf den Gebirgen2022, in Städten5892 in Gründen8219 und in Städten5892 gegen Mittag5045. Denn ich will ihr Gefängnis7622 wenden, spricht5002 der HErr3068.

15 For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Houses and fields and vineyards shall be bought again in this land.

16 Now after I had given the deeds of purchase to Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed to the LORD, saying,

17 Ah, LORD God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and by thy stretched out arm, and there is nothing hidden from thee;

18 Thou showest lovingkindness to thousands of generations, and recompensest the iniquity of the fathers to the bosom of their children after them; thou art the Great God, the Mighty and Revered, the LORD of hosts is his name,

19 Great in counsel and mighty in work, whose eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men, to give every one according to his ways and according to the fruit of his doings.

20 For thou didst perform great signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even to this day and in Israel and among other men; and hast made thee a name, as at this day;

21 And hast brought forth thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs and with wonders and with a strong hand and with a stretched out arm and with a great spectacle;

22 And hast given them this land, which thou didst swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey;

23 And they came in and possessed it; but they did not obey thy voice, neither walked in thy law; they did nothing of all that thou didst command them to do; therefore all this evil has come upon them.

24 Behold the siege ramparts are come against this city to take it; and because of sword and of famine and of pestilence the city is delivered into the hand of the Chaldeans, who are fighting against it; and what thou hast spoken is come to pass; and, behold, I see it.

25 And thou, O LORD God, hast said to me, Buy the field for money, and call witnesses; and, behold the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.

26 Then came the word of the LORD to Jeremiah, saying,

27 I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is there anything hidden from me?

27 Siehe, ich, der HErr3068, bin ein GOtt430 alles1697 Fleisches1320. Sollte mir etwas unmöglich sein6381?

28 Therefore thus says the LORD: Behold, I will deliver this city into the hand of the Chaldeans and into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he shall take it;

28 Darum so spricht der HErr3068 also: Siehe, ich gebe5414 diese Stadt5892 in der Chaldäer3778 Hände3027 und in die Hand3027 Nebukadnezars5019, des Königs4428 zu Babel894; und er soll sie559 gewinnen3920.

29 And the Chaldeans shall come and fight against this city, and shall uproot this city and set fire to it, together with the houses upon whose roofs the people have offered incense to Baal and poured out drink offerings to other gods to provoke me to anger.

29 Und5892 die Chaldäer3778 so wider diese Stadt5892 streiten3898, werden8313 hereinkommen935 und430 sie mit Feuer784 anstecken und verbrennen3341 samt den Häusern1004, da sie auf den Dächern1406 Baal1168 geräuchert6999 und andern312 Göttern Trankopfer5262 geopfert haben5258, auf daß sie mich erzürneten.

30 For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have done only that which is evil before me from their youth; for the children of Israel have always provoked me to anger with the work of their hands, says the LORD.

30 Denn die Kinder1121 Israel3478 und die Kinder1121 Juda3063 haben von ihrer Jugend5271 auf getan6213, das4639 mir übel7451 gefällt5869, und die Kinder1121 Israel3478 haben mich erzürnet3707 durch ihrer Hände3027 Werk, spricht5002 der HErr3068.

31 And because of them my anger and fury have come upon this city from the day that they built it even to this day; so that I may remove it from before my face,

31 Denn seit der Zeit3117 diese Stadt5892 gebauet ist, bis auf6440 diesen Tag3117, hat1129 sie5493 mich zornig und grimmig2534 gemacht, daß ich sie muß von meinem Angesicht639 wegtun

32 Because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger, they, their kings, their princes, their priests and their prophets and the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

32 um all der Bosheit7451 willen der Kinder1121 Israel3478 und3548 der Kinder1121 Juda3063, die sie getan6213 haben3707, daß sie mich erzürneten. Sie, ihre Könige4428, Fürsten8269, Priester und376 Propheten5030, und die in Juda3063 und Jerusalem3389 wohnen3427,

33 And they have turned to me their backs and not their faces; though I have taught them, warning them in advance, yet they would not listen to receive instruction.

33 haben mir6440 den Rücken6203 und nicht4148 das Angesicht6437 zugekehret, wiewohl ich sie3925 stets lehren3925 ließ; aber sie3947 wollten nicht hören8085 noch sich7925 bessern.

34 But they set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to defile it.

34 Dazu haben sie7121 ihre Greuel8251 in das Haus1004 gesetzt7760, das von mir den Namen8034 hat, daß sie es verunreinigten2930,

35 And they built the high places of Baal in Taphat, which is in the valley of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters as offerings to Molech; which I did not command them, nor did it come into my mind that they should do this abomination to cause Judah to sin.

35 und1121 haben2398 die Höhen1116 des Baal1168 gebauet im Tal1516 Ben-Hinnom2011, daß sie1129 ihre Söhne1121 und Töchter1323 dem Moloch4432 verbrenneten, davon ich ihnen nichts befohlen habe6213, und ist mir nie in Sinn kommen5674, daß sie6680 solchen Greuel8441 tun5927 sollten, damit sie3820 Juda3063 also zu Sünden brächten.

36 And now therefore thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning this city, of which you say, It shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by sword and by famine and by pestilence;

36 Und nun, um deswillen spricht559 der HErr3068, der GOtt430 Israels3478, also von dieser Stadt5892, davon ihr saget, daß sie559 werde vor Schwert2719, Hunger7458 und Pestilenz1698 in die Hände3027 des Königs4428 zu Babel894 gegeben5414:

37 Behold, I will gather them from all the lands to which I have driven them in my anger and in my fury and great wrath; and I will bring them back to this country, and I will cause them to dwell in safety;

37 Siehe, ich will7725 sie sammeln6908 aus allen Landen776, dahin ich sie verstoße5080 durch meinen großen1419 Zorn639, Grimm2534 und Unbarmherzigkeit, und will sie wiederum an diesen Ort4725 bringen, daß sie sollen sicher983 wohnen3427.

38 And they shall be my people, and I will be their God;

38 Und sie sollen mein Volk5971 sein, so will ich ihr GOtt430 sein

39 And I will give them a new heart and a new spirit, that they may worship before me for ever; and it shall be good to them and to their children after them:

39 und will ihnen einerlei259 Herz3820 und Wesen geben5414, daß sie mich fürchten3372 sollen ihr1870 Leben lang3117, auf daß ihnen und ihren Kindern1121 nach310 ihnen wohlgehe.

40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them to do them good: and I will put my reverence in their hearts, that they may not go astray from me.

40 Und will7725 einen ewigen5769 Bund1285 mit ihnen machen3772, daß ich nicht will3190 ablassen, ihnen Gutes zu tun, und will ihnen meine Furcht3374 ins Herz3824 geben5414, daß sie5493 nicht von mir310 weichen.

41 Yea, I will cause them to rejoice, and good shall come to them, and I will plant them in this land in truth, with my whole heart and with my whole soul.

41 Und soll meine Lust sein7797, daß ich ihnen Gutes tun2895 soll; und ich will sie in diesem Lande776 pflanzen5193, treulich571, von ganzem Herzen3820 und von ganzer See LE5315.

42 For thus says the LORD: Just as I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring them all the good that I promise them.

42 Denn so spricht der HErr3068: Gleichwie ich über dies Volk5971 habe1696 kommen935 lassen all dies große1419 Unglück7451, also will935 ich auch alles Gute2896 über sie559 kommen lassen, das ich ihnen geredet habe.

43 And fields shall be bought in this land, of which you say, It is desolate, without man and beast; and it is delivered into the hand of the Chaldeans.

43 Und559 sollen noch Äcker7704 gekauft7069 werden in diesem Lande776, davon ihr saget, es werde wüst8077 liegen, daß weder Leute120 noch Vieh929 drinnen bleibe, und werde in der Chaldäer3778 Hände3027 gegeben5414.

44 Men shall buy fields for money, and write deeds and seal them and call witnesses in the land of Benjamin and in the places about Jerusalem and in the cities of Judah and in the cities of the mountains and in the cities of the valleys and in the cities of the south; for I will bring them back from their captivity, says the LORD.

44 Dennoch wird man Äcker7704 um7725 Geld3701 kaufen7069 und5612 verbriefen3789, versiegeln2856 und5707 bezeugen5749 im Lande776 Benjamin1144 und um Jerusalem3389 her5439 und in den Städten5892 Judas, in Städten5892 auf den Gebirgen2022, in Städten5892 in Gründen8219 und in Städten5892 gegen Mittag5045. Denn ich will ihr Gefängnis7622 wenden, spricht5002 der HErr3068.
