Chapter 25

1 AND the LORD spoke to Moses on mount Sinai, saying,

2 Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land which I give you for an inheritance, then shall the land keep a sabbath to the LORD.

3 Six years you shall sow your fields and six years you shall prune your vineyards and six years you shall gather in your produce;

4 But the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest to the land, and it shall be to you a sabbath for the LORD; you shall neither sow your fields nor prune your vineyards.

5 That which grows of itself of your harvest you shall not reap, neither gather the grapes of your undressed vine; for it is the year of rest to the land.

6 And the sabbath of the land shall be food for you, for yourself and for your servants and for your maids and for your hired laborers and for the stranger that sojourns with you

7 And for your cattle and for the beasts that are in your land shall all its increase be for food to you.

8 And you shall count seven sabbaths of years to you, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be to you forty-nine years.

9 Then you shall cause the trumpet of the jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the day of atonement shall you sound the trumpet throughout all your land.

10 And you shall hallow the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all the inhabitants thereof; it shall be a jubilee to you; and you shall return every man to his own possession, and you shall return every man to his family.

11 A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be to you; you shall not sow, neither reap that which grows of itself in it, nor gather the grapes from the undressed vine.

12 For it is the jubilee; it shall be holy to you; you shall eat the produce out of the field.

13 In this year of jubilee you shall return every man to his own possession.

14 And if you sell to your neighbor or buy from your neighbor, you shall not defraud one another:

15 According to the number of years after the jubilee you shall buy from your neighbor, and according to the number of years of the produce he shall sell to you;

16 In proportion to the multitude of years you shall increase the price thereof, and in proportion to the fewness of years you shall decrease the price of it; for according to the number of the years of produce does he sell to you.

17 You shall not therefore defraud one another; but you shall fear your God; for I am the LORD your God.

18 Wherefore you shall do my commandments and keep my judgments and do them; and you shall dwell in the land in safety.

19 And the land shall yield its fruit, and you shall eat your fill and dwell therein in safety.

20 And if you shall say, What shall we eat in the seventh year? For we shall not sow, nor gather in the produce thereof;

21 Then I will send my blessings upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.

22 And you shall sow in the eighth year, and eat yet of old produce until the ninth year; until the new produce comes in, you shall eat of the old produce.

23 Surely the land shall not be sold outright; for the land is mine; you are strangers and sojourners with me.

24 And in all the land of your possession you shall grant a redemption for the land.

25 If your brother becomes poor and sells some of his possession, then his nearest kin shall come and redeem that which his brother has sold.

26 And if the man has no one to redeem it, and himself has sufficient means and is able to redeem it,

27 Then let him count the years of the sale thereof and refund the overplus to the man to whom he sold it, that he may return to his possession.

28 But if he cannot afford to pay him back, then that which he sold shall remain secure in the hand of him who has bought it until the year of jubilee; and in the jubilee it shall be released, and he shall return to his possession.

29 If a man sells a dwelling house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it is sold; within a full year he may redeem it.

30 And if it is not redeemed within a full year, then the house that is in the walled city shall be confirmed for ever to him who bought it throughout his generations; it shall not be released in the jubilee.

31 But the houses of the villages which have no walls round about them shall be counted as the fields of the country; they may be redeemed, and they shall be released in the jubilee.

32 Notwithstanding the cities of the Levites, and the houses which are in the cities of their possession, the Levites shall have the right to redeem for ever.

33 And if a man purchases of the Levites, then the house that was sold, and the city of his possession, shall be released in the year of jubilee; for the houses in the cities of the Levites are their possessions among the children of Israel.

34 But the field of the suburbs of their cities may not be sold; for it is their perpetual possession.

35 And if your brother becomes poor and stretches out his hand for help, you shall not look upon him as a stranger or a sojourner; he shall live with you.

36 You shall not take a discount of him or usury; but fear your God, that your brother may live with you.

37 You shall not lend him your money with a discount nor give him your food with usury.

38 I am the LORD your God, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan and to be your God.

39 And if your brother becomes poor and be sold to you, you shall not compel him to serve as a bondservant;

40 But as a hired laborer, and as a sojourner, he shall be with you, and shall serve you until the year of jubilee;

41 And then he shall depart from you, both he and his children with him, and shall return to his own family, and to the possession of his fathers shall he return.

42 For they are my servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt; they shall not be sold as bondmen.

43 You shall not compel them to do hard work; but shall fear your God.

44 But as for your male servants and your female servants whom you may have from among the people that are round about you, of them shall you buy bondmen and bondwomen.

45 Moreover of the children of the strangers who have sojourned among you, of them shall you buy, and of their families that are with you, who have been born in your land; and they shall be your possession.

46 And you shall bequeath them to your children after you, to inherit them as a possession; you may make slaves of them for ever; but as for your brethren the children of Israel, you shall not compel them to do hard work.

47 And if a sojourner or stranger who dwells with you becomes rich, and your brother who dwells with him becomes poor and is sold to the stranger or sojourner who dwells with you or to a native born of the stranger's family who dwells with you,

48 After that he is sold he may be redeemed again; one of his brethren may redeem him;

49 Either his uncle or his uncle's son may redeem him, or any of his near kin belonging to his family may redeem him; or if he can afford it, he may redeem himself.

50 He shall reckon with him who bought him from the year that he was sold him to the year of jubilee; and the price of his sale shall be according to the number of years, according to the time of a hired servant shall it be with him.

51 If there are still many years remaining, according to them he shall give again the price of his redemption out of the money that he was bought for.

52 And if there remain but a few years to the year of jubilee, then he shall count with him, and according to his years shall he give him again the price of his redemption.

53 As a yearly hired servant shall he be with him; and he shall not subject him to hard labor in your sight.

54 And if he is not redeemed in any of these ways, then he shall go out in the year of jubilee, both he and his children with him.

55 For to me the children of Israel are servants; they are my servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt; I am the LORD your God.

3 Шесть лет засевайте поле свое, обрезайте свои виноградные лозы и собирайте урожай.

4 На седьмой же год должен быть и у земли полный субботний покой, суббота ГОСПОДНЯ: не засевайте поля свои и не обрезайте виноградные лозы.

5 Не жните даже то, что само по себе выросло после жатвы, и не снимайте гроздья с необрезанных лоз. Земле вашей нужен год полного покоя.

6 Но вы сможете питаться тем, что земля вырастит во время своей субботы, — будете есть вы сами, и слуги и служанки ваши, и наемные работники, и пришлые люди, поселившиеся среди вас,

7 а также скот ваш и звери, что водятся в стране вашей, — весь урожай того года послужит всем пищей.

8 Отсчитайте семь таких субботних лет, то есть семь раз по семь лет — сорок девять лет.

9 И тогда в десятый день седьмого месяца, в День очищения, пусть прозвучит у вас громкий трубный звук; протрубите громко по всей земле вашей.

10 Так вам надлежит объявить пятидесятый год священным и даровать свободу на земле вашей всем ее жителям. Юбилейным годом пусть он будет, когда придет каждый на свой земельный участок, каждый возвратится к родству своему.

11 Пятидесятый год пусть будет для вас юбилейным: не сейте и не устраивайте жатвы того, что само по себе выросло на поле, и не занимайтесь уборкой винограда с необрезанных лоз,

12 ибо юбилейный год должен быть для вас священным. Есть вы можете прямо с поля то, что само там выросло.

13 В юбилейный год каждый вновь должен стать обладателем своей семейной собственности.

14 Поэтому, если случится вам продавать что-либо ближнему своему или покупать у него, не извлекайте для себя пользы в ущерб другому.

15 Покупать землю у ближнего своего надлежит с учетом числа лет, прошедших после юбилейного года, да и он должен ее продавать, принимая во внимание остающееся число лет сбора урожаев.

16 Чем больше число лет, тем выше цена; чем меньше, тем ниже: ведь продается количество урожаев.

17 Не обирайте один другого, а бойтесь Бога своего. Я — ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш.

18 Исполняйте установления Мои и неукоснительно соблюдайте Мои заповеди, и будете в безопасности жить на земле, вам дарованной.

19 Земля принесет плод свой, так что и есть будете вдоволь и безопасно жить на ней.

20 Вы можете спросить: „А что мы будем есть весь седьмой год, когда ни сеять не будем, ни собирать урожая?“

21 В шестой год Я ниспошлю вам такие благословения, что земля принесет урожай на целых три года.

22 На восьмой год снова посеете, но всё еще будете жить тем старым урожаем — вплоть до уборки урожая в девятом году.

23 Никакую землю продавать навсегда нельзя — земля ведь Моя, и вы у Меня и гости, и временные жители на ней.

24 И посему по всей земле, которой ныне владеете, вы должны обеспечить право ее выкупа.

25 Если кто-то из вас обеднеет и будет вынужден продать свой земельный участок, тогда его ближайший родственник должен прийти и выкупить проданное бедняком.

26 Однако если нет у него никого, кто может выкупить тот участок, а какое-то время спустя он сам сумеет добыть достаточные средства для выкупа,

27 тогда из них нужно вычесть стоимость земли за те годы, что прошли после продажи, и, заплатив купившему землю оставшуюся разницу, он сможет вернуться на свой участок земли.

28 Если же не смог он найти нужную сумму для выкупа, то проданное останется в руках купившего до юбилейного года. В юбилейный год оно опять перейдет в собственность первого владельца, и тот сможет вернуться и жить на своей земле.

29 А если кто продаст жилой дом в черте города, внутри стен его, он вправе выкупить этот дом свой в течение года со дня продажи. В это время сохраняется за ним такое право.

30 Но если в течение года дом, что в черте города, внутри стен городских, не будет выкуплен, он отойдет покупателю навсегда, в полное владение ему самому и его потомкам, и даже в юбилейный год возвращен не будет.

31 Однако дома в селениях, не обнесенных стеной, считаются частью земельных угодий. Они выкупу подлежат и в юбилейный год должны возвращаться.

32 А вот левиты выкупить свою собственность в их городах всегда имеют право,

33 которым любой из них может воспользоваться; дом, проданный в отведенном для них городе, в юбилейный год вернется прежнему хозяину — левиту. Ведь дома в городах левитов — это и есть их собственность среди сынов Израилевых.

34 Поля же для пастбищ вокруг городов левитов вообще не подлежат продаже, потому что они переданы левитам в вечное владение.

35 Если твой брат израильтянин впадает в бедность и самостоятельно уже не может жить в общине вашей, надлежит тебе поддержать его, как ты поддержал бы человека пришлого, к вам переселившегося, — пусть он живет подле тебя.

36 И не бери с него непомерные проценты, не наживайся на нем. Бойся Бога своего: пусть живет брат твой возле тебя,

37 деньги свои не ссужай ему под проценты и хлеб, который даешь ему в долг, не давай прибыли ради.

38 Я — ГОСПОДЬ, Бог твой, Который вывел тебя из Египта, дабы отдать вам земли Ханаана и стать вашим Богом.

39 Если же твой брат израильтянин впадает в такую бедность, что себя продает тебе за долги, не заставляй его трудиться как раба.

40 Пусть живет он у тебя как наемник либо как переселенец и пусть служит тебе до юбилейного года,

41 когда сможет уйти от тебя вместе с детьми своими, вернуться сможет опять к роду своему, на землю отцов своих.

42 Ведь те, кого Я вывел из Египта, они Мои слуги. Нельзя их продавать, как продают рабов.

43 Не обходись с ним жестоко, бойся Бога своего.

44 А что до раба или рабыни, которые могли бы принадлежать тебе, ты можешь покупать их у народов, что живут вокруг вас.

45 Еще можешь покупать в рабы детей переселенцев, из тех, что живут вместе с вами как люди пришлые, детей из их семейств, рожденных в землях ваших. Они станут вашей собственностью,

46 и вы сможете передавать их по наследству своим детям как собственность. Купленные рабы могут оставаться у вас рабами навеки. Однако что до братьев ваших, сынов Израилевых, никто не вправе властвовать над братом своим и быть жестоким в обращении с ним.

47 Если какой-нибудь поселившийся среди вас человек из другого народа станет богат, а брат твой израильтянин так обеднеет, что за долги продаст себя проживающему среди вас человеку из чужого народа или выходцу из семейства переселенца,

48 то за тем, кто продал себя, всё еще сохраняется право на выкуп, и это должен сделать один из его братьев,

49 дядя его или двоюродный брат; может выкупить его и кто-нибудь из близких родственников, из рода его. Или сам он со временем окажется в состоянии выкупить себя.

50 Ему вместе с тем, кто купил его, следует определить число лет со дня сделки до юбилейного года. Цена за его освобождение должна соответствовать плате наемному работнику за такое же количество лет.

51 Если много еще остается лет до юбилейного года, он должен вернуть большую часть денег из той суммы, что была заплачена за него.

52 А если до юбилейного года уже недалеко, то, посчитав остающиеся годы, он должен возвратить выкуп за себя в размере, соответствующем числу этих лет.

53 У того, кто купил его, он должен быть на положении работника, нанятого на год. И вы не должны допускать того, чтобы его хозяин обращался с ним безжалостно.

54 Если тот человек так или иначе не будет выкуплен, то свободу он должен обрести в юбилейный год — он и его дети вместе с ним.

55 Ведь все сыны Израилевы как слуги принадлежат Мне, Мои они слуги, коих вывел Я из Египта; Я — ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш.

11 A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be to you; you shall not sow, neither reap that which grows of itself in it, nor gather the grapes from the undressed vine.

11 Пятидесятый год пусть будет для вас юбилейным: не сейте и не устраивайте жатвы того, что само по себе выросло на поле, и не занимайтесь уборкой винограда с необрезанных лоз,

12 For it is the jubilee; it shall be holy to you; you shall eat the produce out of the field.

12 ибо юбилейный год должен быть для вас священным. Есть вы можете прямо с поля то, что само там выросло.

13 In this year of jubilee you shall return every man to his own possession.

13 В юбилейный год каждый вновь должен стать обладателем своей семейной собственности.

14 And if you sell to your neighbor or buy from your neighbor, you shall not defraud one another:

14 Поэтому, если случится вам продавать что-либо ближнему своему или покупать у него, не извлекайте для себя пользы в ущерб другому.

15 According to the number of years after the jubilee you shall buy from your neighbor, and according to the number of years of the produce he shall sell to you;

15 Покупать землю у ближнего своего надлежит с учетом числа лет, прошедших после юбилейного года, да и он должен ее продавать, принимая во внимание остающееся число лет сбора урожаев.

16 In proportion to the multitude of years you shall increase the price thereof, and in proportion to the fewness of years you shall decrease the price of it; for according to the number of the years of produce does he sell to you.

16 Чем больше число лет, тем выше цена; чем меньше, тем ниже: ведь продается количество урожаев.

17 You shall not therefore defraud one another; but you shall fear your God; for I am the LORD your God.

17 Не обирайте один другого, а бойтесь Бога своего. Я — ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш.

18 Wherefore you shall do my commandments and keep my judgments and do them; and you shall dwell in the land in safety.

18 Исполняйте установления Мои и неукоснительно соблюдайте Мои заповеди, и будете в безопасности жить на земле, вам дарованной.

19 Земля принесет плод свой, так что и есть будете вдоволь и безопасно жить на ней.

20 And if you shall say, What shall we eat in the seventh year? For we shall not sow, nor gather in the produce thereof;

20 Вы можете спросить: „А что мы будем есть весь седьмой год, когда ни сеять не будем, ни собирать урожая?“

21 Then I will send my blessings upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.

21 В шестой год Я ниспошлю вам такие благословения, что земля принесет урожай на целых три года.

22 And you shall sow in the eighth year, and eat yet of old produce until the ninth year; until the new produce comes in, you shall eat of the old produce.

22 На восьмой год снова посеете, но всё еще будете жить тем старым урожаем — вплоть до уборки урожая в девятом году.

23 Surely the land shall not be sold outright; for the land is mine; you are strangers and sojourners with me.

25 Если кто-то из вас обеднеет и будет вынужден продать свой земельный участок, тогда его ближайший родственник должен прийти и выкупить проданное бедняком.

26 And if the man has no one to redeem it, and himself has sufficient means and is able to redeem it,

26 Однако если нет у него никого, кто может выкупить тот участок, а какое-то время спустя он сам сумеет добыть достаточные средства для выкупа,

27 Then let him count the years of the sale thereof and refund the overplus to the man to whom he sold it, that he may return to his possession.

27 тогда из них нужно вычесть стоимость земли за те годы, что прошли после продажи, и, заплатив купившему землю оставшуюся разницу, он сможет вернуться на свой участок земли.

28 But if he cannot afford to pay him back, then that which he sold shall remain secure in the hand of him who has bought it until the year of jubilee; and in the jubilee it shall be released, and he shall return to his possession.

28 Если же не смог он найти нужную сумму для выкупа, то проданное останется в руках купившего до юбилейного года. В юбилейный год оно опять перейдет в собственность первого владельца, и тот сможет вернуться и жить на своей земле.

29 If a man sells a dwelling house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it is sold; within a full year he may redeem it.

29 А если кто продаст жилой дом в черте города, внутри стен его, он вправе выкупить этот дом свой в течение года со дня продажи. В это время сохраняется за ним такое право.

40 Пусть живет он у тебя как наемник либо как переселенец и пусть служит тебе до юбилейного года,

41 And then he shall depart from you, both he and his children with him, and shall return to his own family, and to the possession of his fathers shall he return.

41 когда сможет уйти от тебя вместе с детьми своими, вернуться сможет опять к роду своему, на землю отцов своих.

42 For they are my servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt; they shall not be sold as bondmen.

42 Ведь те, кого Я вывел из Египта, они Мои слуги. Нельзя их продавать, как продают рабов.

43 You shall not compel them to do hard work; but shall fear your God.

43 Не обходись с ним жестоко, бойся Бога своего.

44 But as for your male servants and your female servants whom you may have from among the people that are round about you, of them shall you buy bondmen and bondwomen.

44 А что до раба или рабыни, которые могли бы принадлежать тебе, ты можешь покупать их у народов, что живут вокруг вас.

45 Moreover of the children of the strangers who have sojourned among you, of them shall you buy, and of their families that are with you, who have been born in your land; and they shall be your possession.

45 Еще можешь покупать в рабы детей переселенцев, из тех, что живут вместе с вами как люди пришлые, детей из их семейств, рожденных в землях ваших. Они станут вашей собственностью,

46 And you shall bequeath them to your children after you, to inherit them as a possession; you may make slaves of them for ever; but as for your brethren the children of Israel, you shall not compel them to do hard work.

46 и вы сможете передавать их по наследству своим детям как собственность. Купленные рабы могут оставаться у вас рабами навеки. Однако что до братьев ваших, сынов Израилевых, никто не вправе властвовать над братом своим и быть жестоким в обращении с ним.

47 And if a sojourner or stranger who dwells with you becomes rich, and your brother who dwells with him becomes poor and is sold to the stranger or sojourner who dwells with you or to a native born of the stranger's family who dwells with you,

47 Если какой-нибудь поселившийся среди вас человек из другого народа станет богат, а брат твой израильтянин так обеднеет, что за долги продаст себя проживающему среди вас человеку из чужого народа или выходцу из семейства переселенца,

48 After that he is sold he may be redeemed again; one of his brethren may redeem him;

48 то за тем, кто продал себя, всё еще сохраняется право на выкуп, и это должен сделать один из его братьев,

49 Either his uncle or his uncle's son may redeem him, or any of his near kin belonging to his family may redeem him; or if he can afford it, he may redeem himself.

49 дядя его или двоюродный брат; может выкупить его и кто-нибудь из близких родственников, из рода его. Или сам он со временем окажется в состоянии выкупить себя.

50 He shall reckon with him who bought him from the year that he was sold him to the year of jubilee; and the price of his sale shall be according to the number of years, according to the time of a hired servant shall it be with him.

50 Ему вместе с тем, кто купил его, следует определить число лет со дня сделки до юбилейного года. Цена за его освобождение должна соответствовать плате наемному работнику за такое же количество лет.

51 If there are still many years remaining, according to them he shall give again the price of his redemption out of the money that he was bought for.

51 Если много еще остается лет до юбилейного года, он должен вернуть большую часть денег из той суммы, что была заплачена за него.

52 And if there remain but a few years to the year of jubilee, then he shall count with him, and according to his years shall he give him again the price of his redemption.

52 А если до юбилейного года уже недалеко, то, посчитав остающиеся годы, он должен возвратить выкуп за себя в размере, соответствующем числу этих лет.

53 As a yearly hired servant shall he be with him; and he shall not subject him to hard labor in your sight.

53 У того, кто купил его, он должен быть на положении работника, нанятого на год. И вы не должны допускать того, чтобы его хозяин обращался с ним безжалостно.

54 And if he is not redeemed in any of these ways, then he shall go out in the year of jubilee, both he and his children with him.

54 Если тот человек так или иначе не будет выкуплен, то свободу он должен обрести в юбилейный год — он и его дети вместе с ним.

55 For to me the children of Israel are servants; they are my servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt; I am the LORD your God.

55 Ведь все сыны Израилевы как слуги принадлежат Мне, Мои они слуги, коих вывел Я из Египта; Я — ГОСПОДЬ, Бог ваш.
