Chapter 56

1 THUS says the LORD: Keep judgment, and do justice; for my salvation will come soon and my righteousness will be revealed.

2 Blessed is the man who does this, and the son of man who lays hold on it; he who also keeps the sabbath that he may not profane it, and guards his hands from doing any evil.

3 Do not let the son of the stranger who follows the LORD speak, saying, The LORD has utterly separated me from his people; neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.

4 For thus says the LORD: To the eunuchs who keep my sabbaths and choose the things that please me and take hold of my covenant,

5 I will give to them in my house and within my walls a place and a name better than sons and daughters; I will give them an everlasting name that shall not be cut off.

6 Also to the sons of the strangers who follow the LORD, to serve him and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one who keeps from profaning the sabbath and takes hold of my covenant,

7 Even them I will bring to my holy mountain and make them joyful in my house of prayer; their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon my altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all peoples.

8 Thus says the LORD God, who gathers the outcasts of Israel: Yet I will gather others to him, besides those who were gathered to him.

9 All the beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all you beasts in the forest.

10 All that are blind can see, but they know not; they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; they see, but they lie down and slumber.

11 Yea, they are greedy dogs that can never have enough, they are so wicked that they cannot understand; they all have turned aside to their own way, every one for his own gain and his own advantage.

12 Come, they say, let us get wine, and let us fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow shall be as this day, and much more will be left over for us.

Глава 56

1 Господь сказал: «Будьте справедливы ко всем и делайте только праведное, потому что скоро придёт к вам спасение Моё. Скоро всему миру будет явлена Моя доброта».

2 Благословен будет тот, кто праведен и соблюдает закон о дне субботнем.

3 Иноплеменник же пусть не говорит: «Господь не примет меня наравне с народом Своим». И пусть не говорит евнух: «Я всего лишь высохший кусок дерева, которому не суждено иметь детей».

4 Они не должны так говорить, потому что Господь о них сказал: «Они подчинились Моей воле, а также соблюдают день субботний и истинно следуют соглашению Моему.

5 Поэтому Я для них поставлю памятный камень в Моём храме, а их имена будут помнить в городе Моём. Я дам евнухам этим нечто лучшее, чем дочери и сыновья. Я дам им вечное имя, и они не будут отторжены от народа Моего.

6 И некоторые из неиудеев последуют за Мной, они смогут служить Мне и любить Моё имя. Они станут слугами Моими и будут соблюдать субботу как день поклонения, и станут неукоснительно следовать Моему соглашению, —

7 Господь говорит. — Тех людей Я приведу на Мою Святую гору и сделаю их счастливыми в Моём доме молитвы, их дары и жертвы будут Мне приятны, так как Мой храм станет домом молитвы для всех народов».

8 Господь Всемогущий сказал: «Израильтяне были вынуждены покинуть свою страну, но Господь соберёт их вместе». Господь говорит: «Я снова соберу этот народ». Бог призывает народ служить Ему

9 Все дикие звери в лесах, приходите и ешьте!

10 Слепы их стражи и ничего не знают. Они словно псы, которые не лают, а только и знают, что лежат на земле и спят. Ах, как же они любят спать!

11 Они словно псы голодные, не знающие насыщения. Пастухи не знают, что делают, так же как и их овцы, они сами разбрелись, стали корыстны и стремятся ублажить лишь себя.

12 Они говорят: «Я выпью вина и пива, а на следующий день сделаю то же самое, только выпью ещё больше!»

1 Господь сказал: «Будьте справедливы ко всем и делайте только праведное, потому что скоро придёт к вам спасение Моё. Скоро всему миру будет явлена Моя доброта».

2 Благословен будет тот, кто праведен и соблюдает закон о дне субботнем.
