2 That these made6213 war4421 with Bera1298 king4428 of Sodom,5467 and with Birsha1306 king4428 of Gomorrah,6017 Shinab8134 king4428 of Admah,126 and Shemeber8038 king4428 of Zeboiim,6636 and the king4428 of Bela,1106 which1931 is Zoar.6820

3 All3605 these428 were joined2266 together in the vale6010 of Siddim,7708 which1931 is the salt4417 sea.3220

4 Twelve8147 6240 years8141 they served5647 Chedorlaomer,3540 and in the thirteenth7969 6240 year8141 they rebelled.4775

5 And in the fourteenth year came Chedorlaomer, and the kings that were with him, and smote the Rephaims in Ashteroth Karnaim, and the Zuzims in Ham, and the Emims in Shaveh Kiriathaim,

6 And the Horites2752 in their mount2042 Seir,8165 to Elparan,364 which834 is by the wilderness.4057

9 With Chedorlaomer3540 the king4428 of Elam,5867 and with Tidal8413 king4428 of nations,1471 and Amraphel569 king4428 of Shinar,8152 and Arioch746 king4428 of Ellasar;495 four702 kings4428 with five.2568

10 And the vale6010 of Siddim7708 was full of slime pits;2564 and the kings4428 of Sodom5467 and Gomorrah6017 fled,5127 and fell5307 there;8033 and they that remained7604 fled5127 to the mountain.2022

11 And they took3947 all3605 the goods7399 of Sodom5467 and Gomorrah,6017 and all3605 their victuals,400 and went3212 their way.3212

12 And they took3947 Lot,3876 Abram's87 brother's251 son,1121 who1931 dwelled3427 in Sodom,5467 and his goods,7399 and departed.3212

21 And the king4428 of Sodom5467 said559 to Abram,87 Give5414 me the persons,5315 and take3947 the goods7399 to yourself.

22 And Abram87 said559 to the king4428 of Sodom,5467 I have lift7311 up my hand3027 to the LORD,3068 the most5945 high5945 God,410 the possessor7069 of heaven8064 and earth,776

23 That I will not take3947 from a thread2339 even5704 to a shoelatchet,8288 5275 and that I will not take3947 any3605 thing that is yours, lest3808 you should say,559 I have made Abram87 rich:6238

24 Save1107 only7535 that which834 the young5288 men have eaten,398 and the portion2506 of the men582 which834 went1980 with me, Aner,6063 Eshcol,812 and Mamre;4471 let them take3947 their portion.2506

10 В долине же Сиддим было много смоляных ям. И когда цари Содома и Гоморры со своими людьми бежали с поля брани, иные из них попали в эти ямы. Оставшиеся в живых скрылись в горах.

11 Враги же разграбили Содом и Гоморру: забрали все богатства и все съестные припасы из этих городов и ушли.

12 Увели они с собой и Лота — Аврамова племянника, который жил в Содоме, — увели вместе со всем, чем тот владел.

13 Один из тех, кому удалось спастись, принес Авраму-еврею весть о случившемся (тот жил тогда у дубравы аморея по имени Мамре). Мамре и братья его, Эшкол и Анер, были в союзе с Аврамом.

14 Аврам, услышав, что его родственник захвачен в плен, взял с собой триста восемнадцать способных для сражения мужчин из числа тех, кто родился и вырос в доме его, и с ними преследовал войско Кедорлаомера до Дана.

15 Аврам разделил там своих людей на отряды и под покровом ночи напал на врагов, обратил их в бегство и преследовал до самой Ховы, что к северу от Дамаска.

19 призвал свыше на Аврама такое благословение: «Бог Всевышний, Создатель неба и земли, да благословит тебя, Аврам!

20 Да будет прославлен Бог Всевышний, в твои руки предавший врагов твоих». Аврам дал ему десятую часть из всего, что отобрал у неприятеля.

21 Царь Содома сказал тогда Авраму: «Отдай мне людей моих, освобожденных из плена, а мое имущество, отбитое у врага, оставь себе».

22 «Нет, — возразил ему Аврам, — я воздеваю руку мою к ГОСПОДУ Богу Всевышнему, Создателю неба и земли, и клянусь —

23 даже нитки и ремешка от обуви не возьму себе из всего твоего, дабы ты не сказал: „Это я обогатил Аврама“.

24 Мне не нужно ничего! Кроме того, что пошло на пропитание людей моих, да кроме доли тех, кто ходил со мною в поход. Пусть Анер, Эшкол и Мамре возьмут свою долю».
