|
1 MOREOVER the word of the LORD came to me, saying. |
|
2 Now, Son of man, judge the bloody city and declare to her all her abominations; |
|
3 Then say, Thus says the LORD God: The city where blood is shed in the midst, her time has come. and the city that makes idols in the midst of her has defiled herself. |
|
4 You have become guilty in the blood which you have shed, and have defiled yourself by the idols which you have made; now your days have drawn near, and the time of your years has come; therefore I have made you a reproach to the Gentiles and a derision to all cities. |
|
5 Those that are near and those that are far from you shall mock you and shall say, O you filthy one, infamous and full of iniquity. |
|
6 Behold, the princes of Israel, every one according to his own tribe, were in you to shed blood. |
|
7 In you have they cursed father and mother; in the midst of you have they oppressed the proselytes; in you have they wronged the fatherless and the widows. |
|
8 You have despised my holy things and have profaned my sabbaths. |
|
9 In you were merchants to shed blood, and in you have they eaten sacrifices upon the mountains; in the midst of you they committed lewdness. |
|
10 In you have they uncovered the nakedness of their fathers' concubines; in you have they lain with menstruous women. |
|
11 And one has committed abomination with his neighbor's wife; and another has lewdly defiled his daughter-in-law in committing adultery with her; and another in you has defiled his sister, his father's daughter. |
|
12 In you have they taken bribes to shed blood; in you have they taken usury and exorbitant gains, and they have deceived their friends by extortion; and you have forgotten me, says the LORD God. |
|
13 Behold, therefore I will strike my hands together with anger because of the iniquity which you have done and because of the blood which has been shed in the midst of you. |
|
14 Can your heart endure, or can your hands be strong, in the days that I deal with you? I the LORD have spoken it and will do it. |
|
15 And I will scatter you among the Gentiles and disperse you in the countries. |
|
16 And I will chastise you in the sight of the Gentiles, and you shall know that I am the LORD. |
|
17 And the word of the LORD came to me, saying, |
|
18 Son of man, the house of Israel is to me become dross; all they are like brass and like tin, and like iron and lead in the midst of the furnace when they are mixed with silver. |
|
19 Therefore thus says the LORD God: Because you have all become mixed together, behold, therefore I will gather you in the midst of Jerusalem. |
|
20 As they gather silver and brass and iron and tin and lead into the midst of the furnace, and blow the fire upon it to melt it; so will I gather you in my anger, and in my fury will I melt you. |
|
21 Yea, I will blow upon you the fire of my anger, and I will cause you to melt in the midst of it. |
|
22 As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall you be melted in the midst of it; and you shall know that I the LORD have poured out my fury upon you. |
|
23 And the word of the LORD came to me, saying, |
|
24 Son of man, say to her, You are the land that is not cleansed, and have refused to receive moisture, nor has rain come down upon you. |
|
25 Her prophets in the midst of her have conspired; they are like a lion that roars and tears the prey; they have devoured lives with their might; they have taken the precious things of their palaces. |
|
26 Her priests have violated my law and have profaned my holy things; they have put no difference between the holy and the profane, neither have they distinguished between the unclean and the clean, and have refused to keep my sabbaths, and I am profaned among them. |
|
27 Her princes in the midst of her are like wolves tearing the prey, to shed blood and to destroy lives, to get dishonest gain. |
|
28 And her prophets have daubed her walls with untempered mortar which will fall off, seeing for them visions of falsehood, and divining lies to them, saying, Thus says the LORD, when the LORD has not spoken. |
|
29 They have oppressed the people of the land and humiliated them; and have extorted from the poor and needy; yea, they have oppressed wrongfully the proselyte. |
|
30 And I sought for a man among them who would build up the fence and stand in the gap before me for the sake of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found none. |
|
31 Therefore have I poured out my indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath; their own ways have I recompensed upon their heads, says the LORD God. |

2 „А ти, сину лю́дський, чи будеш судити, чи суди́тимеш ти місто крови? І завідо́м його про всі гидо́ти його, |
|
3 та й скажеш: Так говорить Господь Бог: Місто проливає кров у своїй сере́дині, щоб прийшов його час, і робить божкі́в собі, щоб занечи́щуватися! |
|
4 Кров'ю, що ти проливала, о дочко Єрусалиму, грішила ти, а божка́ми, яких ти робила, занечи́стилася, і набли́зила свої дні, і прийшла аж до своїх ро́ків. Тому дам тебе наро́дам на га́ньбу, і на посміхо́висько для всіх країв! |
|
5 Близькі та далекі від тебе насміхаються з тебе, нечистойме́нна, багатозаколо́тна! |
|
6 Ось Ізраїлеві князі, кожен за раме́ном своїм, були́ в тебе, щоб кров проливати. |
|
7 Батька та матір у тебе легкова́жать, чужи́нцеві роблять у́тиск серед тебе, сироту та вдову пригнічують у тебе. |
|
8 Моїми свя́тощами ти погорджуєш, а суботи Мої зневажаєш. |
|
9 У тебе є накле́пники, щоб кров проливати, і на па́гірках їдять у тебе, розпусту чинять серед тебе. |
|
10 Наготу́ батька в тебе відкривають, жінку, у ча́сі її місячної нечистоти́, безчестять у тебе. |
|
11 І один робить гидо́ту з жінкою свого ближнього, а той занечищує розпустою невістку свою, а той безчестить у тебе сестру свою, дочку́ батька свого́. |
|
12 Пі́дкуп беруть у тебе, щоб кров проливати, ли́хву та відсо́тка береш ти й ошу́куєш у́тиском ближніх своїх. А Мене ти забуваєш, говорить Господь Бог. |
|
13 І ось сплесну́в Я руками Своїми за твою кривду, яку ти робила, та за кровопролиття́ твої, що були в тебе. |
|
14 Чи всто́їть твоє серце, чи будуть міцні́ твої руки на ті дні, що Я буду з тобою чинити? Я, Господь, говорив це й зробив! |
|
15 І розпоро́шу тебе серед наро́дів, і розси́плю тебе по края́х, і викину твою нечистість із тебе. |
|
16 І станеш ти збезче́щеною через себе на оча́х народів, і пізнаєш, що Я — Госпо́дь!“ |
|
17 |
|
18 „Сину лю́дський, дім Ізраїлів став мені за жу́желицю; усі вони мідь, і ци́на, і залізо, і о́ливо в сере́дині го́рна, жу́желицею срі́бла сталися. |
|
19 Тому так говорить Господь Бог: За те, що всі ви стали жу́желицею, тому ось Я позбираю вас до сере́дини Єрусалиму. |
|
20 Як збирають срі́бло, і мідь, і залізо, і о́ливо, і цину до сере́дини го́рна, щоб дмухати на нього огнем, щоб розтопи́ти, — так зберу́ у Своїм гніві та в люті Своїй, і покладу́, і розтоплю́ вас! |
|
21 І позбираю вас, і дмухну́ на вас огнем Свого гніву, і ви будете розто́плені в сере́дині його. |
|
22 Як розто́плюється срібло в сере́дині го́рна, так бу́дете розто́плені ви в сере́дині його, і пізна́єте, що Я, Господь, вилив гнів Свій на вас!“ |
|
23 |
|
24 „Сину лю́дський, скажи до неї: Ти земля неочи́щена, у дні гніву доще́м не поли́тая! |
|
25 Змо́ва її пророків серед нього, як реву́чий лев, що здо́бич шматує: жеру́ть душу, маєток та багатство забирають, прибі́льшують уді́в її в сере́дині її. |
|
26 Священики її ламають Зако́на Мого, і зневажаю́ть Мої святощі, не розрізняють між святим та несвятим, і не оголошують різни́ці між нечистим та чистим, і від субіт Моїх закривають свої очі. І був Я знева́жений серед них. |
|
27 Князі́ її в сере́дині її, немов ті вовки́, що здо́бич шмату́ють, щоб розливати кров, щоб губити ду́ші ради ко́ристи. |
|
28 А пророки її все замазують болотом, бачать марно́ту, і чару́ють собі неправдою, вони кажуть: „Так говорить Господь Бог“, а Господь не говорив. |
|
29 Наро́ди Кра́ю тиснуть у́тиском та грабують грабунком, а вбогого та бідака́ гно́блять, а чужи́нця тиснуть у безправ'ї. |
|
30 І шукав Я між ними чоловіка, що поставив би загоро́ду, і став би в ви́ломі перед Моїм обличчям за цей Край, щоб Я не знищив його, — та Я не знайшов! |
|
31 І Я вилив на них Свій гнів, огнем пересе́рдя Свого повигу́блював їх, їхню дорогу Я дав на їхню го́лову, каже Господь Бог“. |

1 MOREOVER the word of the LORD came to me, saying. |

2 „А ти, сину лю́дський, чи будеш судити, чи суди́тимеш ти місто крови? І завідо́м його про всі гидо́ти його, |

3 Then say, Thus says the LORD God: The city where blood is shed in the midst, her time has come. and the city that makes idols in the midst of her has defiled herself. |
3 та й скажеш: Так говорить Господь Бог: Місто проливає кров у своїй сере́дині, щоб прийшов його час, і робить божкі́в собі, щоб занечи́щуватися! |
|
4 You have become guilty in the blood which you have shed, and have defiled yourself by the idols which you have made; now your days have drawn near, and the time of your years has come; therefore I have made you a reproach to the Gentiles and a derision to all cities. |
4 Кров'ю, що ти проливала, о дочко Єрусалиму, грішила ти, а божка́ми, яких ти робила, занечи́стилася, і набли́зила свої дні, і прийшла аж до своїх ро́ків. Тому дам тебе наро́дам на га́ньбу, і на посміхо́висько для всіх країв! |

5 Those that are near and those that are far from you shall mock you and shall say, O you filthy one, infamous and full of iniquity. |
5 Близькі та далекі від тебе насміхаються з тебе, нечистойме́нна, багатозаколо́тна! |

6 Ось Ізраїлеві князі, кожен за раме́ном своїм, були́ в тебе, щоб кров проливати. |
|

7 Батька та матір у тебе легкова́жать, чужи́нцеві роблять у́тиск серед тебе, сироту та вдову пригнічують у тебе. |

8 Моїми свя́тощами ти погорджуєш, а суботи Мої зневажаєш. |

11 І один робить гидо́ту з жінкою свого ближнього, а той занечищує розпустою невістку свою, а той безчестить у тебе сестру свою, дочку́ батька свого́. |

12 Пі́дкуп беруть у тебе, щоб кров проливати, ли́хву та відсо́тка береш ти й ошу́куєш у́тиском ближніх своїх. А Мене ти забуваєш, говорить Господь Бог. |

13 І ось сплесну́в Я руками Своїми за твою кривду, яку ти робила, та за кровопролиття́ твої, що були в тебе. |
|
14 Can your heart endure, or can your hands be strong, in the days that I deal with you? I the LORD have spoken it and will do it. |
14 Чи всто́їть твоє серце, чи будуть міцні́ твої руки на ті дні, що Я буду з тобою чинити? Я, Господь, говорив це й зробив! |
|

15 І розпоро́шу тебе серед наро́дів, і розси́плю тебе по края́х, і викину твою нечистість із тебе. |

16 І станеш ти збезче́щеною через себе на оча́х народів, і пізнаєш, що Я — Госпо́дь!“ |

17 And the word of the LORD came to me, saying, |

18 „Сину лю́дський, дім Ізраїлів став мені за жу́желицю; усі вони мідь, і ци́на, і залізо, і о́ливо в сере́дині го́рна, жу́желицею срі́бла сталися. |
|
19 Therefore thus says the LORD God: Because you have all become mixed together, behold, therefore I will gather you in the midst of Jerusalem. |
19 Тому так говорить Господь Бог: За те, що всі ви стали жу́желицею, тому ось Я позбираю вас до сере́дини Єрусалиму. |
|
20 As they gather silver and brass and iron and tin and lead into the midst of the furnace, and blow the fire upon it to melt it; so will I gather you in my anger, and in my fury will I melt you. |
20 Як збирають срі́бло, і мідь, і залізо, і о́ливо, і цину до сере́дини го́рна, щоб дмухати на нього огнем, щоб розтопи́ти, — так зберу́ у Своїм гніві та в люті Своїй, і покладу́, і розтоплю́ вас! |
|
21 Yea, I will blow upon you the fire of my anger, and I will cause you to melt in the midst of it. |
21 І позбираю вас, і дмухну́ на вас огнем Свого гніву, і ви будете розто́плені в сере́дині його. |
|
22 As silver is melted in the midst of the furnace, so shall you be melted in the midst of it; and you shall know that I the LORD have poured out my fury upon you. |
22 Як розто́плюється срібло в сере́дині го́рна, так бу́дете розто́плені ви в сере́дині його, і пізна́єте, що Я, Господь, вилив гнів Свій на вас!“ |

23 And the word of the LORD came to me, saying, |

29 Наро́ди Кра́ю тиснуть у́тиском та грабують грабунком, а вбогого та бідака́ гно́блять, а чужи́нця тиснуть у безправ'ї. |
|
30 And I sought for a man among them who would build up the fence and stand in the gap before me for the sake of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found none. |
30 І шукав Я між ними чоловіка, що поставив би загоро́ду, і став би в ви́ломі перед Моїм обличчям за цей Край, щоб Я не знищив його, — та Я не знайшов! |

31 Therefore have I poured out my indignation upon them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath; their own ways have I recompensed upon their heads, says the LORD God. |
31 І Я вилив на них Свій гнів, огнем пересе́рдя Свого повигу́блював їх, їхню дорогу Я дав на їхню го́лову, каже Господь Бог“. |
