Psalm 104

1 BLESS the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great: thou art clothed with honour and majesty.

2 Thou coverest thyself with light as with a garment; who stretcheth out the heavens like a curtain,

3 Who layest the beams of his chambers in the waters, who makest the clouds his chariot, who walkest upon the wings of the wind,

4 Who makest his angels spirits, his ministers a flaming fire,

5 Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

6 Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment; the waters stood above the mountains.

7 At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hastened away.

8 The mountains ascend, the valleys descend to the place which thou hast founded for them.

9 Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over, to cover the earth.

10 Thou hast sent the springs to the valleys, which run among the hills.

11 They give drink to every beast of the field; the wild asses quench their thirst.

12 By them the fowls of the heaven have their habitation; from among the hills they sing.

13 He waters the hills from his chambers; the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.

14 He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and herbs for the service of man, that he may bring forth food out of the earth,

15 And wine that makes glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengthens man's heart.

16 The trees of the LORD are full of sap, the cedars of Lebanon, which he has planted;

17 There the birds make their nests; as for the stork, her house is in the cypress.

18 The high mountains are a refuge for the wild goats, and the rocks a refuge for the conies.

19 He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knows his going down.

20 He makes darkness and it is night, wherein all the beasts of the forest creep forth.

21 The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their food from God.

22 The sun rises; they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.

23 Man goes forth to his work and to his labour until the evening.

24 O LORD, how manifold are thy works! In wisdom hast thou made them all; the earth is full of thy riches.

25 Behold this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, creatures both small and great.

26 On it sail the ships; there is that Leviathan, whom thou hast made to play therein.

27 These wait all upon thee, that thou mayest give them their food in due season.

28 With what thou givest them they are filled; thou openest thine hand, they are satisfied.

29 Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled; thou takest away their breath, they die and return to their dust.

30 Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created, and thou renewest the face of the earth.

31 The glory of the LORD endures for ever; the LORD shall rejoice in his works.

32 He looks on the earth, and it trembles; he rebukes the hills, and they smoke.

33 I will sing to the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.

34 Let my praise be acceptable to him; I will be glad in the LORD.

35 Let sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless the LORD, O my soul. Praise the LORD.

Псалом 104

1 Прославляйте Господа! Призывайте Его имя! Рассказывайте людям о великих делах, которые совершил Господь.

2 Пойте Господу, песнями восхваляйте Его. Расскажите о Его делах прекрасных.

3 Гордитесь святым именем Господа. Вы, ищущие Господа, возрадуйтесь!

4 Полагайтесь на Господа и силу Его. Всегда за помощью к Нему идите.

5 Помните всё то прекрасное, что сделал Он. Помните Его справедливые решения и Его великие дела.

6 Вы принадлежите семье слуги Господнего Авраама. Вы — потомки Иакова, избранного Им народа.

7 Господь — наш Бог, Он правит целым миром.

8 Помните вечно соглашение Его. Он никогда не нарушит обещания Своего.

9 Помните соглашение, которое Господь заключил с Авраамом, и обещание, данное Им Исааку.

10 Господь это сделал для Иакова законом. Это соглашение с Израилем — Завет вечный.

11 Господь сказал Израилю: «Я дам вам землю хананеев. Она будет частью вашего наследства».

12 Их было всего лишь несколько человек, чужестранцев в незнакомой земле.

13 Они шли от народа к народу, из одного царства к другому.

14 Однако Господь никому не позволял обидеть их. Он всех от этого предостерегал.

15 Господь говорил царям: «Не причиняйте зла народу, избранному Мною. Не причиняйте зла Моим пророкам».

16 Он засуху послал на землю, обрушил голод на людей.

17 Послал в Египет Он пред ними человека по имени Иосиф, который в рабство продан был.

18 Верёвкою связали его ноги, в ярме железном его шея.

19 Господь испытывал Иосифа до тех пор, пока не свершилось предсказание Его.

20 И царь Египта отпустил Иосифа, властитель из тюрьмы освободил его,

21 поставил его домом управлять и всем, чем он владел,

22 чтобы князей учил Иосиф и наставлял старейшин мудро.

23 Тогда Израиль пришёл в Египет, и в землях Хама жил Иаков.

24 Бог дал плодовитость Своему народу, они числом своих превысили врагов.

25 Вселилась ненависть в сердца врагов, и хитрый заговор придуман был.

26 Послал Он Моисея, Своего слугу, и Аарона, избранного Им.

27 И показали они в земле Хама знамения и чудеса Его.

28 Послал Бог тьму окутать землю, но даже после этого египтяне не послушали Его.

29 В кровь воду превратил, и умерла вся рыба.

30 Земля их жабами кишела, увидеть можно было их и в царской спальне.

31 Он повелел, и налетели тучи мух, и мириады комаров закрыли небо.

32 Вместо дождя послал Он град, и молниями выжег землю всю.

33 Все виноградники, смоковницы, деревья Он уничтожил.

34 Он повелел, и саранча нагрянула, кузнечики налетели без числа.

35 И все растения они сожрали — всё, что земля их родила.

5 Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.	5 Помните всё то прекрасное, что сделал Он. Помните Его справедливые решения и Его великие дела.

13 He waters the hills from his chambers; the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works.	13 Они шли от народа к народу, из одного царства к другому.
14 He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and herbs for the service of man, that he may bring forth food out of the earth,	14 Однако Господь никому не позволял обидеть их. Он всех от этого предостерегал.
15 And wine that makes glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengthens man's heart.	15 Господь говорил царям: «Не причиняйте зла народу, избранному Мною. Не причиняйте зла Моим пророкам».

31 The glory of the LORD endures for ever; the LORD shall rejoice in his works.	31 Он повелел, и налетели тучи мух, и мириады комаров закрыли небо.
32 He looks on the earth, and it trembles; he rebukes the hills, and they smoke.	32 Вместо дождя послал Он град, и молниями выжег землю всю.
33 I will sing to the LORD as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.	33 Все виноградники, смоковницы, деревья Он уничтожил.
34 Let my praise be acceptable to him; I will be glad in the LORD.	34 Он повелел, и саранча нагрянула, кузнечики налетели без числа.
35 Let sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless the LORD, O my soul. Praise the LORD.	35 И все растения они сожрали — всё, что земля их родила.
